About: I’ve had experience since I was born but I’ve been more attentive and actually working to take care of them since 13. I’m 18 now, I have watched scared dogs, big dogs, friendly dogs, jumping dogs, sleepy dogs, small dogs, and same goes for cats! About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, both as a pet owner and professionally. I have hands-on experience working with dogs of all different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. My professional experience includes dog training and bathing/grooming, and I am also accredited through PetSmart while currently working toward becoming a certified groomer. This ongoing training continues to strengthen my understanding of canine behavior, body language, handling techniques, and how to keep dogs comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Whether your dog needs a walk, some extra exercise and attention, or another type of care, I’m happy to tailor my approach to their individual personality and routine. My sister is a former vet tech (I have learned so much from her and she is still my #1 resource when I have to "triage" anything non-emergent), and I grew up surrounded by animals, so pet care has always felt like second nature to me. I’ve cared for senior pets, administered medications, supported animals with special needs, even raised premature puppies! I’m very attuned to the unique rhythms and cues of each animal I meet. I’m gentle, playful, and intuitive, matching energy levels and always paying attention to what a pet needs in the moment. Whether that means slow movements and soft energy or zoomies and tug-of-war, I show up in a way that helps your pet feel safe, respected, and loved. I work remotely and have a flexible and self-structured schedule, so I’m thankfully able to build my days intentionally around the things that matter, including pet care! About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. If I were to be in a clients home, I would do my best to ensure the animal stays in their routine and their feeding/medication is on schedule. They’d get plenty of play times and unlimited cuddles!

“I truly enjoyed my experience with Gio and Vanessa. They scheduled a meet-and-greet before the actual dog-sitting weekend, and from the very first meeting everything was straightforward and well organized. We went on a walk with Zuko, and Gio walked me through the steps that he and Vanessa take during the stay. Everything was very thorough, and I didn't feel rushed I was able to ask all my questions comfortably. Drop-off for the weekend was super easy. Zuko was already familiar with Gio, and I brought along all the things that help him feel comfortable and at home. I really appreciated that right after drop-off, Gio took Zuko on a walk around the neighborhood to help him get familiar with the surroundings and reduce anxiety. I thought that was a great strategy, and it definitely helped Zuko ease into his stay. Throughout the weekend, they kept me updated with pictures and progress updates, which I really appreciated. I had mentioned that Zuko is usually very calm during the day, and based on the updates and how pickup went, everything matched perfectly. Pickup was just as easy. I pulled up, Zuko happily jumped into the car, and he was clearly comfortable and happy with Gio as well. Overall, this was a very easy and positive experience. I appreciate them accommodating a last-minute booking. Thank you both!”
