I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. About: Hi, I’m Tess! I live in Charles Town, WV with my two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie, and two cats, Tatiana and Rudy — so your pet is walking into a home that already loves animals. I take a slow, easy approach to dog care. I let dogs sniff, wander, and just be themselves, whether we’re doing a neighborhood walk, a quick potty break, or a longer trail outing. Every walk is just two dogs at most, so your pup gets real time and attention. I always send photo updates along the way so you can see how they’re doing. I welcome dogs of all sizes who are friendly with other dogs, cats, and people. For boarding, I have a large fenced backyard and keep things small and relaxed — more like a home than a kennel. I also offer occasional house sitting for dogs who are happiest in their own space. I’d love to meet your pup! Feel free to reach out to check availability or set up a meet-and-greet. Fridays are my day off, so walks are unhurried and get my full attention. For boarding, I'm home all weekend, so any dog staying with me has someone around rather than sitting alone in an empty house. Dogs staying with me have access to a large fenced backyard and are never left alone outside. Inside, I keep a calm, low-stimulation environment. My Cavalier Louie lives here full time, so any boarding dog will be introduced to him gradually and supervised until I'm confident they're comfortable together. I do a meet and greet with Louie before confirming any boarding stay. For house sitting, I follow the owner's routine as closely as possible so the dog's environment feels as normal as it can while they're away. Photo updates are sent throughout any service.
About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've fed them, bathed them, given them medicine, and have always been relable. Currently, I am mostly self-employed & studying for a Real Estate license. I do work mornings at a horse barn, and have a contract gig working occasional weekends with a D&D-styled Bed & Breakfast. Thankfully those shifts are scheduled months in advance and, for barn work, typically wrap up around 11-Noon. :) I'm always willing to give dogs the ample affections and pets they need! I'm super attentive to when they need to go outside/take a walk, have their food right on schedule, have some playtime, or whenever they just geniunely need attention and love. I honestly do it everyday for my own dogs. So I'll have no trouble giving them the same needs I give my precious wee babies.

About: I’m very caring and attentive to all animals and I am here to look after and play with them when you are unavailable. I have plenty of experience watching dogs, cats, and even reptiles on several different occasions for a few years now and I will never get tired of meeting new ones! I have a passionate love for animals and believe they deserve the best care possible. I’ve been looking for a job and came to the conclusion this is the best for me. Getting paid to care and tend to animals and even just hanging and chilling with them doesn’t even seem like a job to me but more like a fun time. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I have grown up with dogs, and love all dogs. Neighbors and family members have relied on me to take care of their dogs. This includes feeding, exercising, medication and play time! I am experienced with handling puppies and with senior dogs as well.
