“This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. My friends and family rely on me for dog sitting when away, and my lab loves all other dogs! I currently work from home and don’t travel much on weekends. So I have time to walk, play, and take care of other pups. I take my lab out every 4 hours for a nice long walk, and we love going to dog parks and hiking if that’s something your pup likes to do as well! I’m in an apartment so walks are my go to for my lab. We go out every 4 hours or so, with a long walk in the morning before breakfast, a long walk at lunch, and a long walk in the evening. In between that, I have lots of toys for dogs to play with and will provide lots of love and pets!

I grew up with Old English sheepdog but love all animals. My friends joke that I can't go anywhere without meeting a new dog friend. I work on most week days as a rehab aide, however I have plenty of time on weekends. I love animals specifically dogs and I always make time to make sure my animals are cared for. I have had training with him, to help give him his best life. I have experience with both dogs and cats, from puppy/kitten to senior age and every age in between. I do have basic pet training skills, including leash training, as well. I also can administer oral medication when needed for dogs. I have experience with dogs with special needs, such as, blindness and special dietary needs. I have experience with active/herding dogs as well. My senior dog Willow, was a boarder/lab. She recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. She was over 13. She was a very active girl. I also have 2 grand dogs. A 4 year old male Great Dane/hound and a 1 1/2 year old male Australian shepherd. I take care of them from time to time when my family needs me too. I also have several clients that I regularly take care of their pets while they’re either at work or away on vacation. I offer several types of services for your pets. I can do drop ins/potty breaks, walks/playtime or overnight stays when you’re away or on vacation. I also provide photos/videos, so that you can see how much fun your fur baby is having while you’re away! I do have experience with multiple dogs/cats households. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and helping to provide caregiving services for your pet! I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most days with notice ahead of time. On occasion, I can do non-scheduled pet care times as well. When caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions for your pets needs. We can discuss how much time your pet can be left alone, as well as, if they need to be crated while left alone. If I am taking care of your pet while you’re away for overnight stays, I will generally check on your pet every 4 to 5 hours unless noted otherwise.
