I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. About: I was a professional pet photographer for many years, and I have worked at a luxury pet resort. I started accepting Rover bookings in June of 2025. I will be with your dogs during the day as well as overnight, but I will need to be able to leave during the day to meet ongoing commitments. I will travel out of my area (Deep Creek, Alpine Lake) for an additional fee. I will stay with your pets in your home, where they are most comfortable. If they are used to cuddling on the couch with you while you watch television, I will do that. If they are used to being outside a lot, I will take them out (weather permitting of course).

About: I have always had a big heart for pets. This includes cats and dogs. I enjoy being around them, feeding them, and cleaning after them. I work full time for a nonprofit, but have flexibility. I’m mostly available on Fridays-Mondays. I currently care for doggies and cats in my own home. My doggy is on a feeding schedule and get regular walks. He enjoys playing tug-a-war with me and enjoys having me the one to fetch his toys. I easily get along with animals and enjoy playing and exercising them.

About: New to Rover, but not new to dog sitting :) I have several years of experience taking care of dogs, of all ages & breeds! I moved from Maine to WV and now have the time to be a dog sitter again! My overall love for animals and the ability to connect with them, makes me a safe and reliable sitter for your pup :) We have two open acres of grass for your dog to run around and play and a large tile floor sun room (with AC) for them to stay. My Great Dane stays in the sunroom in a playpen when she isn’t playing with chipmunks outside! If you prefer your dog to be on leash when outside-no problem! I can accommodate to your dogs’ needs! I have a 9 yr old female Great Dane who is real sweet & fully trained to my commands. She stays in a playpen in the AC, tiled sunroom with your pup. Your pup will have the one-on-one care that he/she needs while you are away. Fresh water will always be present :) My main goal is to keep every dog I care for safe & happy!

I live close to trails for enjoyable walks, for the pups that are properly safeguarded with prevention and vaccines for a walk through the woods. I have plenty of kitty toys and scratchers for my kitty friends, so they can have fun and keep their nails in tip top shape. About: My name is Misty and I would love to help you care for your pets. I live in Maysville and will travel to surrounding areas. I grew up in a family that bred and trained Golden Retrievers and Chocolate Labrador Retrievers to duck hunt. I have also leash-broken hounds, German Shepherds, and Siberian Huskies. The leashes I use are gentle-leaders. I do not use any other form of leashes as I use the pack leader training method. I reward pets with positive reinforcement and do not punish animals. I’m a disabled veteran so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I love spending time with dogs and cats. I do crate training at my home and I have a 1 acre yard with a creek.
