Nagi decided she didn’t want to use the stairs for the first few days of her stay, but Candice was incredibly patient and treated her like one of her own pups the entire time. She even carried Nagi up and down the stairs until she felt comfortable enough to use them like she normally does. Halfway through Nagi’s 1 week stay, she started having an upset tummy. Candice went above and beyond by picking up medicine for her, feeding her boiled chicken and rice, and taking care of multiple accidents when Nagi couldn’t make it outside in time. Candice also has a pup of her own, Rayne, which made Nagi’s stay even more fun. It was clear Nagi had a wonderful time and felt comfortable there. When we picked her up, she looked so happy, relaxed, and content, which told me everything I needed to know about how well she was cared for. About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I am currently looking for a part time job my schedule is open for the relative future and any changes to my schedule will be minimal, I am fully available for a consistent walking or care schedule for your pet. I care for my dog with long walks, exercise/play time with his favorite toys or enrichment games. I also have a back and front yard at my house that my dog loves to play in with a park and beach access that allows dogs. When I care for bigger dogs I love to take them to the park in my neighborhood or one nearby to play fetch.

About: I absolutely love animals. I currently have a black lab and I love to just spend time cuddling with her, or going for long walks. If possible, I try to bring her along (assuming they get along at the meet and greet). I’ve noticed that dogs can wear each other out a lot faster than I can, and probably have more fun doing it too. Maddie gets along with everyone and just loves to meet someone new. For your dog, I will treat him/her as my own. I will play with them and take them for walks. About: I have grown up loving dogs my entire life. I was lucky enough to have two of my own Lucy and Wilson who were truly part of my family and meant everything to me. Since coming to college I have not been around dogs at all and I miss that connection more than I realized. About: I lived around both dogs and cats my whole life, with both family and roommates, and I absolutely love it. While I'm not in the position to have my own furry friend at the moment, I love to care for animals. I spent about a year (2025) volunteering with the MCACAC shelter cats and dogs in Christiansburg, including participating in their training courses, and now feel confident bringing that experience to work with pets that already have found their families as well. About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.
