About: I recently lost my 14-year old bulldog and I am looking to reconnect with dogs before committing to another long term companion. I have experience with senior dog care, to include dogs with cancer and dementia. I work full-time from home. During the day, I would be able to offer 2 15 -minute bathroom visits/walks during my breaks from work. I also have flexibility when other needs arise. In the evenings, I am free to give your dog as much love and attention as they desire. I only accept 1 dog at a time (unless multiple dogs are from the same owner and the dogs are pair bonded). I was single handedly responsible for my own dog for 11 years before she died of old age, so I know what it takes to compassionately care for a dog. I have also watched my friends’ dogs and my parent’s dog for weeks at a time. Taking care of dogs is not a new experience for me. I work from home and have complete control over the flexibility of my schedule. I can take breaks from my work to attend to your dogs needs 2 times per day during my 15-minute breaks. I am free evenings. I can also use my breaks to give walks/pet stop-ins if within close proximity to my house. I am willing to take care of dogs who prefer free play in a fenced in yard or those that prefer longer leash walks or park outings. I have no problem with free roam in the house or crating, whichever fits best with the dog’s regular routine. I have a big fenced in back yard and live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park 1 block away. I also have a good relationship with a local vet in case of emergencies.

I enjoy the process of building trust and confidence with animals through approved training methods/mental enrichment activities and using non verbal cues in a playful and meaningful way. Because I don't own any pets of my own I'm able to assist pet owners when they're away from home. I often accept requests up to 3 months ahead of time but, if possible, I will accept same day requests. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. I would be open to set a meeting with you and your pet before house sitting or check-in dates to discuss schedules and specifics as well as to meet your pet. I am currently unable to sit at my own house. My contact info will be provided and I will be available for call at all points during my care for your pet.

About: I recently lost my 14-year old bulldog and I am looking to reconnect with dogs before committing to another long term companion. I have experience with senior dog care, to include dogs with cancer and dementia. I work full-time from home. During the day, I would be able to offer 2 15 -minute bathroom visits/walks during my breaks from work. I also have flexibility when other needs arise. In the evenings, I am free to give your dog as much love and attention as they desire. I only accept 1 dog at a time (unless multiple dogs are from the same owner and the dogs are pair bonded). I was single handedly responsible for my own dog for 11 years before she died of old age, so I know what it takes to compassionately care for a dog. I have also watched my friends’ dogs and my parent’s dog for weeks at a time. Taking care of dogs is not a new experience for me. I work from home and have complete control over the flexibility of my schedule. I can take breaks from my work to attend to your dogs needs 2 times per day during my 15-minute breaks. I am free evenings. I can also use my breaks to give walks/pet stop-ins if within close proximity to my house. I am willing to take care of dogs who prefer free play in a fenced in yard or those that prefer longer leash walks or park outings. I have no problem with free roam in the house or crating, whichever fits best with the dog’s regular routine. I have a big fenced in back yard and live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park 1 block away. I also have a good relationship with a local vet in case of emergencies.
“Jennifer is 100% a dog person! Very warm yet very professional. We didn’t a meet and greet and she had a checklist ready to go over everything. She has spare bowls and toys. She took great care of my Odie! Even though she has a fenced in yard she still took him for walks. I got lots of pictures during his stay. Odie did have an incident and Jennifer handled my pup with the utmost care and was very friendly and professional while we worked it out. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for years. I previously worked at a veterinary hospital, where I cared for pets in a kennel setting and assisted with appointments, giving me experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and also currently furthering my vet med education. About: Greetings! I am an experienced dog owner and pet sitter, and recently just lost my wonderful lab of 14.5 years. I'm experienced with puppies, adults, seniors, and everything in between, including any dog size petite to massive! I can administer medicine as well. We have a home about 4 blocks from Baker Park in a quiet neighborhood that is good for walks, and we have a fully fenced in backyard as well. I work from home M-F 8am to 5pm, and am generally home at all times. Occasionally I may step out for dinner with my wife or friends. I work from home Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and am generally home at all times. My schedule is fairly flexible during working hours, so I can take our furry friend out for many breaks and walks. I have a fenced in back yard in a quiet neighborhood that's good for walking as well, with parks close by. We love dogs, small to large, and would be happy to host yours.
