About: I have personally owned cats for the past 20+ years. I rescued my first cat Amos, as a stray kitten. He was my first pet that I had on my own after moving into my first apartment. We spent 17 wonderful years together. I have since rescued many other pets, including senior cats and I am very comfortable with medication administration, physical ambulatory assistance, and incontinence support. I currently have 2 cats: 7 year old siblings, Henry & Dinah - also 2 stray kittens dropped off at my old farmhouse.

About: I have experience, taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens. I am willing to take care of smaller animals, such as hamsters, birds or guinea pigs as well. About: Although we are new to the area, we are definitely not new to caring for dogs. We recently purchased the well-known dog kennel in Smithsburg and are in the process of restoring it. Parts of the kennel are already fully functional, and we’re excited to begin welcoming dogs while we continue improving the property. It’s a place many people in the community already know, and we feel lucky to be able to carry on its history. Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with them and honestly can’t remember a time when I didn’t love being around them. That same love has followed me into adulthood. Over the years I’ve naturally become the neighborhood go-to pet sitter. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I always care for them the same way I care for my own dogs — with patience, attention, and lots of affection. One of the things I’m most proud of is the therapy work I did with my dog. I trained and certified her as a therapy dog, and for 10 years we volunteered together in hospitals and nursing homes. That experience actually inspired my career path, and I went on to become a certified occupational therapist. My sweet therapy dog has since passed away after a long and wonderful life. She was incredibly special to me. I’m now starting that journey again with my new puppy, Merango, and hope to continue therapy work in the future. Right now I’m taking some time away from my occupational therapy work to focus on renovating and restarting the kennel. About: I have about 11 years of experience caring for dogs. From working at a doggie daycare, to an animal hospital Ive always found myself caring for other people’s pets. I have been relied on by clients, neighbors, friends and family to take full care & responsibly over their pets. While working in the daycare I got a lot of experience in supervising and caring for multiple dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being, managing playgroups, and cleaning. About: I am currently doing Rover part-time, I’m also working 2 other part-time jobs, however, for one of them I get to choose my own schedule. About: My family and I absolutely love dogs we lost ours recently and I am not ready to get another one but would love to care for yours like he/she was our own. I have 3 very energetic kiddos that would love to play with and give lots of love and cuddles to your fur baby. I am a stay at home mom, we have no other animals of any kind so your fur baby will have all the attention when they stay with us. About: I LOVE DOGS!! What more can I say? I have had dogs in my family, of my own and taken care of family dogs practically since I was born. I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and love all of them, no matter what! I have had experience with special diets, dog walking and even diabetic dogs (using diabetic test strips and glucometer). Sometimes I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer: I can get along with all dogs and read what they need or want. I'm also great at helping dogs to heal or get over their fears! I especially love giving and receiving loves (hugs, kisses and lots of cuddles and petting)! Give me your doggie babies! :D I would love to take care of them!

About: I took care of my shih tzu for 12 years, he recently passed of old age. I had dogs growing up but Oreo was the first that really attached to me. He whined if he couldn't get into the bathroom with me. He slept in my bed with me until he got too old to be that high up without supervision. I gave him embarassing mom haircuts for 10 years because I knew he hated the entire experience of going to the groomers and I wanted to spare him the discomfort. I was always looking for ways to make that dog more comfortable. I have experience in caring for senior dogs, so you can rest assured I will do everything I can for your senior furbabies' comfort. I'm currently working part-time weekdays caring for children but my weekends are open for watching your fur babies!! I usually wake up around 10-11am so I can be available any time after that Friday-Sunday! I always check the water after being gone to make sure there's still enough in there and that it's clean, and feed the cats 3 times a day when possible. Some days just twice usually when I have work. I am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule you have for your fur babies! I also try to brush the cats once a day to cut down on shedding. If you have brushes I am happy to give your pets all the brushin's! We also play with chew toys, cat wands, laser pointers, and socks! Whatever toys you have I'm sure we will have a blast!
