About: Hi there! I’m a recently graduated physician assistant (PA) awaiting my hospital start date so my availability is currently wide open and I’m eager to help care for your beloved pets however I can. My schedule is easily customizable. I’m most eager for drop ins and walks to fill up my day meaningfully, yet offer sitting and boarding as well. I’m happy to offer a complimentary meet & greet ahead of services to ensure that it’s a good fit for all. I’ve had family pets of all species and sizes ever since I was born, growing up in 4H/ with large animals so I know a thing or two about general animal care. My experiences are varied and have lent to an above average animal sense. I’ve cared for senior pets, pets with advanced medical needs and my own animals during post-op recovery. One unique perk is that my sister is a veterinarian of 15 years and offers me an additional wealth of knowledge. Many might consider me a helicopter pet parent, which I’m proud to claim. No unsupervised grass/ twig chomping or foreign body scares with me around! I own two senior dogs: Remi and Paisley. They love everyone and everything but are at the age where sleep is the ruler of their day. I’m joining Rover semi selfishly because they have less ability for adventures now, yet unselfishly as any boarding time that your pet spends with us means spoiled vacation time with grandma and grandpa for them. However, I’m happy to keep them around if you have a puppy who needs socializing/ wise knowledge gathering from their elders. I’m a recently graduated physician assistant awaiting my start date so my availability is currently wide open and I’m eager to help care for beloved pets however I can. My schedule is easily customizable. In my home/ in life, pets are considered cherished family members. I am attentive, interactive and just overall excited to meet some new furry pals. I can keep up with any personality from frantic ball chaser to subdued couch potato. I know that every pet is different just as any human is different and am happy to accommodate in whatever way makes all happy.

About: I have deep experience caring for cats of all ages. I have prior background working as a veterinary intern, multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility as well as being owned by 4 cats of varying ages currently. I am proficient at nail trimming and grooming as well! I have also successfully worked with groups so help kitties recover from and survive FIP including my own beloved cat; Smalls. I have a relationship with Frederick Cat Vet. Animals are naturally drawn to me! I am extremely meticulous about caring for cats and ensuring that they have the same type of care and hygienic conditions that I would want for myself. I also have taken the pet CPR course!
“Dominique does a great job. She communicates well during my travel and let's me know how my baby is doing. I've used her over three years and would recommend her to anyone .”

About: My family and friends have entrusted me to take care of their pets many times these last few years. The last 3 summers I have been lucky enough to do long-term stays with my friend's 4 dogs and cat to help build my experience with pets. Additionally, my family has 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks of our own, so I am no stranger to larger dogs! I am currently working part-time on the weekends so my week is normally pretty free. Since I am an incoming college student, I have some commitments throughout the summer, but have no problem talking about those with clients! I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know it can be a stressful time for them while your gone, so I hope to be a calming presence where they can relax and have fun!
About: I’ve dog sat for a few family friends and absolutely loved it! I love animals (especially dogs) and would be happy to care for your doggo. I currently work part time but I set my own hours! So evenings or early mornings could definitely work out for me. I also am a college student starting back up in the fall semester of 2025 but my schedule is very flexible. I don’t think I would be able to care for your pets in my current living situation but would be happy to come to you when needed! I love walking and I’d be thrilled to bring a friend along with me (your dog).
“We had a great experience! She stopped by twice to let our dogs out while we were away and was reliable, communicative, and very caring with them. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Justine was absolutely wonderful. My cat is very shy, and usually hides from Catsitters and other people she doesn’t know. She did not hide from Justine, which I see as a major good sign. Justine also made a game with my cat of hiding the treats I said to give her so my cat could find them, which helped keep my cat entertained. I would absolutely hire Justine to watch my cat again!”

“I'm so happy to have found Kelli! My 3.5 month old puppy, Luna, got to meet cows, played with a variety of other dogs, and went swimming for the first time! Kelli provided lots of photos and updates - Luna clearly had the best time of her life! I'll absolutely use Kelli again when needed.”

“We were so lucky to have Ellen watch our dog, Ziva! She has separation anxiety, and we were nervous about leaving her with someone new in a new environment. Ellen was so reassuring from the start, promising to take good care of her. And she absolutely did. Her sweet dog, Cleopatra, was so friendly and helped Ziva feel comfortable right away. Our first impression was unforgettable- Ziva followed Ellen, which is rare for her with someone she doesn’t know. Ellen took extra care to comfort Ziva when she was anxious and sent us picture updates that really put our minds at ease. Because of Ellen, we were able to enjoy our event without constantly checking our phones. This was such a relief, especially since we’ve had a bad experience with a previous sitter who never sent updates. Ellen went above and beyond, and we could truly feel the difference in Ziva’s comfort. We will definitely be using her services again. Thank you, Ellen, for caring for Ziva like she was your own!”

“Will definitely use Sydney again. I don’t trust very many people with my baby but she did an amazing job with him :) very attentive to my pup. He was very excited to be dropped off in the morning. He came home tired and happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to leave him with❤️”

I have a fenced yard and a patio with a garden where we can have playtime in the outdoors. I'm free all summer so book your vacation now. I will Love your pup as my own and keep you up to date with pictures. I live in a townhome with a fenced yard and patio. Our dogs love to be out enjoying nature and interacting with each other. “Our puppy loves spending time with Ben and Alexa! Their farm is perfect for allowing her to run out energy and get used to a variety of animals - horses, chickens, etc. Honestly, we're jealous of the time she gets to spend there! Ben and Alexa clearly love her as much as we do, and treat her like family. They send lots of photos so I always know what she's up to. She comes home completely exhausted :) We'll absolutely continue to book stays with them and highly recommend them for anyone else looking for wonderful, caring sitters!”

“Shout out to Olivia! She was available at the last minute due to me not knowing Greenbrier State Park not allowing dogs! She was so accommodating and welcoming! She took great care of my pup and made sure she sent pictures to show me how great my pup was doing! Thank you again Olivia!”

“Tux has always been anxious when left behind, but did very well with Emily all day. She was very attentive to his needs and he got along well with her other daycare pup. She sent numerous pictures and answered my texts right away when I checked in on him. She asked permission to take him on a short ride in her car, which I granted since he loves car rides and hates being left behind. I will definitely book with her again. Thanks, Emily, for taking such great care of our boy.”

“We are new with Renee, Kuro has been consistently going in for day care for the past 3 weeks and I must say he has a blast. He is happy to go there, gets to play with other pups. Renee is patient and very attentive. She accommodates requests and also goes that extra mile to care for our pup. Thank you Renee.”

“Rachel and Jason were great! I provided Rachel with a list of things we do to train our puppy and she was so helpful, she helped us with reinforcing his training. I have already booked a future stay for Kuzco with them. Hr had a blast.”

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. I also have taken the pet CPR course! I work remotely from home so am flexible in what I can offer. I feed my own pets multiple times a day and am able to monitor what is consumed. I also live in a beautiful community near parks for nice walks. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who live next door who are always interested in playdates if desired. I work remotely so have flexibility in what I can offer clients. I do have a crate on premises if you do not have although I prefer (as do pets) for them to have their familiar one! There are friendly cats who live with me although I would likely gate off my kitchen / sunroom area where my office is so that I can supervise and ensure harmony with unknown pet if in my home.
About: I have a 16 year old shorkie (shitzu-yorkie mix). Experienced from pup to senior care! I am able to provide any level of care for your furry baby! With years of experience in pup care, I provide attentive, compassionate, and tailored care for each pup I look after. My approach combines reliability with a deep understanding of your pup's unique needs, ensuring they feel secure and happy while their owners are away. I bring a calm, loving presence that helps them feel comfortable, content, and well-cared for. As a small business owner who works from home, I’m always present, creating a comforting and reassuring environment for pets in my care. I am able to take them on long walks and frequent potty breaks, as needed. I have a fenced yard and a friendly small senior dog. I only watch one dog at a time so I can provide your furry pup my undivided attention he/she deserves. My home is set up for pet care, with cozy, safe spaces for them to relax, play, and sleep. I create a calm environment with designated play and rest areas, so they feel at ease even when they’re away from home.
“Vanessa and Bruce watched Ozzie for a day yesterday. We had a very bad experience with a day care (not thru Rover) where we left him there twice, and twice he got sick for days. When we got home last night, he was tired which is good. Vanessa was very patient and understanding of our possible plan changes. Love them and their fur babies, who are friendly and well behaved.”

I’m patient, calm, and very intentional about making animals feel safe and comfortable, especially in new environments. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, and behavior cues so each pet gets the care that fits them best. I also have experience with puppies who need extra guidance and playtime, as well as senior pets who may need slower walks, medication reminders, or gentle handling. My goal is to make your pet feel loved, secure, and right at home while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, reliable hands. 🐾💛 I fit pet care into my schedule before and after work as well as in the evening hours. This way your pets are given the time they need. I prioritize safety, routine, and comfort in every home. I follow your pet’s normal schedule, keep spaces clean, secure doors and gates, and pay close attention to your pet’s body language so they feel relaxed and understood. I always ensure fresh water, clean litter or feeding areas, and provide playtime, cuddles, or quiet company depending on what your pet prefers. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
“Matthew was extremely flexible and patient managing the needs of our Siberian Husky, Bristol. He showed experience and good instincts managing Bristol's challenging behavior. We asked him to take Bristol for 30 minute walks each day and Matthew went above & beyond that request to make sure Bristol got sufficient exercise. We enjoyed our time away even more knowing Bristol was in good hands! 10/10 would recommend and use again!”

About: Hi I’m rylyn. I’ve been a huge animal lover for as long as I can remember and have a huge passion for caring for pets. I’ve dogsat for multiple neighbors, friends, and families dogs before. I used to volunteer at petco adoption events and volunteered at a horse boarding facility. I work part time and go to college. I take online courses and have a very flexible work schedule. Im usually only working 3 days out of the week. I have a huge fenced in yard and live near a huge park with a pond. I have two older dogs and two cats. They are all super friendly towards people and other animals. I constantly take my dogs outside to play at the park and they have a set feeding routine and get constant outdoor time.
About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.
“Adrienne is thoughtful and caring and very very good at communicating. This is my 3rd time leaving my dog (a somewhat demanding pug) in her care. It will certainly not be our last.”

About: I am a reliable and caring pet and house sitter serving the Frederick and Walkersville, Maryland area. I bring over 30 years of professional experience in training, leadership development, and organizational support, where trust, responsibility, and attention to detail were essential to my success. These same qualities guide how I care for homes and pets. My career involved extensive travel, which gave me firsthand appreciation for how important it is to have a dependable person caring for your home and animals while you’re away. I’ve often relied on friends and professional services to look after my own property, so I understand the peace of mind pet owners are seeking—and I take that responsibility seriously. My wife and I, along with our two children, are longtime animal lovers. We currently care for a part-time “loaner dog” named Tobi, who stays with us while my mother-in-law travels. Growing up with my three brothers, our household was always full of pets, including dogs, a parakeet, a turtle, hamsters, goldfish, and Persian cats that my mother bred and raised. This lifelong exposure has made me comfortable caring for a wide range of animals and following specific routines and instructions. At 55 and newly retired, I’m active, energetic, and excited to dedicate time to passions I couldn’t fully explore while working full-time and raising a family. I live a very active lifestyle—currently training for another triathlon—and I enjoy staying engaged, dependable, and helpful in my community. As your pet and house sitter, I provide: Attentive, compassionate pet care tailored to your pet’s routine Reliable house sitting, including mail collection and light household oversight Clear communication and regular updates while you’re away Respect for your home, privacy, and detailed instructions I treat every home and pet as if they were my own. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, you can feel confident knowing your pets and property are in experienced, caring, and trustworthy hands. At 55 and newly retired, I’m active, energetic, and excited to dedicate time to passions I couldn’t fully explore while working full-time and raising a family. I live a very active lifestyle—currently training for another triathlon—and I enjoy staying engaged, dependable, and helpful in my community. My schedule is very open with my wife still working (a teacher), and my kids both grown. I provide pet care with the same level of professionalism, responsibility, and attention to detail that I brought to my 30+ year career in training, leadership development, and organizational support. I am a reliable and caring pet and house sitter serving the Frederick and Walkersville, Maryland area, and I understand that caring for someone’s pet also means caring for their home and routines. When caring for pets—whether in my home or in a client’s home—I start by learning each pet’s individual needs, habits, and preferences. I closely follow all instructions related to feeding schedules, exercise, litter or potty routines, medication, and any special care requirements. I believe consistency is key to helping pets feel secure and comfortable while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and care, maintaining routines and ensuring the environment remains calm, clean, and safe. I monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health and communicate proactively if anything seems out of the ordinary. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident and connected while they’re away. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was little. I can really connect with them easily! It makes me happy that your pets are taken care of! Anytime, just let me know! I take time in my schedule to go to the gym as well, but that can be moved around if anything pops up! I have a fenced yard, so for my dogs I usually get toys out and play with them for a good bit. Maybe throw in some training treats for new skills. I can walk your pets, and learn what they love doing in your home! Even if that means cuddle time too!
“Alexis did an amazing job with our dog, Lucille! “Marieliz was fantastic with our dog. We have a larger breed dog, and she was confident and able to handle him with no problem. She made us feel very comfortable while traveling, keeping us up-to-date with a daily summary and photos and videos of how he was doing and what they did throughout the day. She kept his routine, and feeding schedule the same way we have it at home. She gave him a great deal with love and he came back happy and healthy. We would definitely use her again.”

“Dorian really helped us out of a bind when our little boy, Taysom, needed coverage when our situation for having fiends watch him changed within a couple of days of us leaving on a week long trip. He and his daughter kept Taysom busy while we were away. He was quick to respond to inquiries and send pictures and a video to us. He also administer medication for two days. We even had a pre booking visit with him with short notice and Dorian was very accommodating. All in all we were pleased with the service he provided for our little guy, Taysom. 😊”

“Overall a great experience. He was treated like at home. Marne and her husband are really flexible when I needed additional days to leave Rocco due to a change of plans in our trip which we appreciate greatly.”

“FANTASTIC Family!! Maverick had a great time and was well cared for. Communication was outstanding. They were super with his medication, and patient with my nervous texts about him staying anywhere overnight. Maverick & I look forward to when he can see them again!”

“Nat &Ally are amazing, this is by far the best Rover service that I ever had and I have been using Rovers for more than 3 years. They are very attentive, they do a meeting before the drop off day, they truly want to make sure my furbaby will feel welcome and safe. They asked all the right questions, food, timing, snacks, what is he allowed or not to do and so on. They have a backyard which is great for my chocolate lab to play and they have a playful dog that was perfect for Rocco. We even got a drawing from Rocco, from one of the kids, that made me cry…Happy cry! They are all super sweet. Love their vibe and respect. I recommend them 100%. I would be looking forward to work with them more often.”
