“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

About: I’ve owned dogs and cats. We do tend to spoil them. I have lots of room for them to run and play in our fenced in yard. We walk them on a leash through our nearby cemetery. I currently work part time with Amazon flex. I will always be available if I have any pet jobs as Amazon flex is very flexible. I’m available for home and pet sitting. I have a fenced in back yard and currently own 1 miniature Daschund female 2 years old to help keep your furry friends playing or if needed I can use a crate with permission only.

About: I’ve dog sat for a few family friends and absolutely loved it! I love animals (especially dogs) and would be happy to care for your doggo. I currently work part time, and my hours are very flexible. I can always take a lunch break for a quick drop in/walk! I have also lots of time for pet sittings and I always let pet parents know about that upfront before any booking! I am also a college student. For the semester of 2026, I have one online class that is also flexible. I always make sure to follow their daily routines to keep them as comfortable as possible while the family is away. I love communicating as much as possible and sending updates during the stay. I always ask questions and let pet parents aware of their day.

About: I have over 45 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages as well as many other types of animals that have honored me with living with me over the years (cats, horses, guinea pigs, gecko, Madagascar hissing cockroach, parrots, flying squirrel, rabbits). My original dream was to become a vet so I have a background interning with veterinarian, working multiple years in a grooming and boarding facility and had my own very successful animal care and sitting business as a teenager. I have great nail trimming skills as well! Animals are naturally drawn to me and sense my love and respect for them. I work remotely so am pretty flexible with schedules. About: First I just want it to be known that I am willing to work with clients on pay rates and negotiate to a rate that fits for both of us. The rates listed are not set in stone. I have cared for cats, small-large dogs in various breeds (Beagles, Pitbull's, Labs, Shelty's, and more) for several years now for close friends and family near the Frederick area. I also have experience with smaller animals like Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Bunnies, Fish, Turtles, and Hermit Crabs. I myself have a 6 year old Beagle and have been taking care of her for the passed 5 years now. I am home from college for summer break and will be available most weeks days in the evenings and some weekends. Other than work and preparing for school events I will not have much on my plate, giving plenty of time to care for your pets. I care for my clients pets with upmost care and love while maintaining expectations of what the client needs or prefers for their pets. This may include taking your dogs for daily walks, playing with them, making sure they are fed, bathing them, cleaning up any potty accidents, and spending quality time with them to keep company while their owners are away. For cats this may include keeping their litter boxes clean, making sure they are fed of course, playing with them, and quality time as well. I rely on clients to give me information on their pets routines so the pets themselves aren't as confused with a new person taking care of them.

I enjoy all pet personalities and look forward to getting to know your special pup or cat. I have availability on weekdays from 9am to 4:30 pm for walking, pop ins and daycare. I have the availability to come to your home or for your pet to come to mine. for day care at my home, I have many walking paths to take them on walks, can provide company, bed, access to water and/or food as well as other necessities requested.

About: Hi I’m rylyn. I’ve been a huge animal lover for as long as I can remember and have a huge passion for caring for pets. I’ve dogsat for multiple neighbors, friends, and families dogs before. I used to volunteer at petco adoption events and volunteered at a horse boarding facility. I work part time and go to college. I take online courses and have a very flexible work schedule. Im usually only working 3 days out of the week. I have a huge fenced in yard and live near a huge park with a pond. I have two older dogs and two cats. They are all super friendly towards people and other animals. I constantly take my dogs outside to play at the park and they have a set feeding routine and get constant outdoor time.

Now that I have the time to help other animals, I'd love to help yours. I'm a retired Federal employee who is available in the morning or afternoon for pet check ins and walks. I live in the Myersville area and would be available to help in the surrounding vicinity. If you need a little space for your dog to run free, I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs. We usually take our dogs on walks and let them run in the fenced in area. I can walk your dog, check in on them, feed them, and let them out in your fenced yard.

“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

I had never used the Rover app OR a dog boarding service before. I found Renee using the Star Sitters filter and I am so grateful to her. She was patient with all of my questions (before, during, and after the meeting and greet!) and immediately put my mind at ease. You can tell she has a lot of experience with dogs and has a very calm but assertive demeanor with them that made me confident she could handle our amped up puppy. While we were away she sent us pictures and updates regularly without me asking so I was never worried about how he was. He even made friends at her house to play with!
