About: Hi! I’m Haley, a stay at home mom and lifelong animal lover who understands that pets are family not just animals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away, so you can enjoy your time knowing they’re in caring hands. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a family that rescued animals, and my mom has worked in the veterinary field her entire career. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my three little ones, I spent years working in animal hospitals, where I gained experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. That background taught me how important patience, consistency, and attention to detail are when it comes to caring for animals. At home, we have three playful kittens and a friendly dog, so your pet will be staying with someone who truly understands their needs. We also have a large backyard where dogs can safely run, play, and get plenty of exercise. I know every pet is different, which is why I do my best to stick to their normal routine. Whether that means feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, walks, cuddle time, or simply giving them space to relax! I’ll care for your pet the way you do at home. I believe keeping their routine as consistent as possible helps reduce stress and makes them feel comfortable. When your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I am currently between jobs so I am available and want to keep myself active during this down time. About: Being with the NFB {National Federation of The Blind}, I've been around dogs for a very long time. When their owners need a break, I allow them to have time for themselves, and be able to be a regular dog for a bit. About: My love for animals started the day a stray Bassett hound wandered into my garage at the ripe age of 4. Ever since then I have taken in all animals under my care as my own! I love take care of all the furry friends! I have personally owned puppies, big dogs, cats, fish, hedgehogs and gerbils - although not at the same time (could you imagine, yikes) and watched after the same! I have done any and all visits whether it is a quick play date or a longer visit due to vacation! I enjoy building a long term relationship to provide a dependable sitter throughout the year! I have a child in elementary school and work at a high school during the day. If and when an overnight sitter is needed, I assure you I make arrangements prior to accepting to give my 100% to your fur baby! I like to mimic the care the dog has at home to make sure they are most comfortable.
