“My 2year old had the time of his four-legged life with Denise and her husband. I have never left my puppy for more than a couple days with someone other than family and I was a little nervous. We scheduled a meet and greet and the rest is history. They make you feel at ease the moment you step into their fenced in backyard. They asked a lot of questions to get to know my baby and I definitely appreciated that. We were gone for 6 days and my puppy was exhausted when we picked him up. Lol. He played and ran and rolled in the dirt to his heart's content. Denise sent pics and videos daily which I loved. I have absolutely no complaints and would not hesitant to leave my Stitch with them. He had a blast!”

About: I worked at an animal hospital for 5 years as a technician. I assisted in every aspect of care, including surgery, pharmacology, nutrition, wound care, and behavior. At our small clinic, we were taught how to work alone with many different temperaments and how to safely navigate anxious dogs. As a part of my training, our hospital was also Fear Free Accreditied, meaning that I was trained specifically on how to reduce fear and stress in scary environments. I believe most animals are not aggressive, only afraid and need patience. I work from home 7-4 Monday through Friday. This would be in addition to my current job. I would not be able to stay at homes for long periods or overnight unless it is a weekend. I always stick to feeding times and walks. This helps keep the anxiety level down as the schedule has not been interrupted. I offer full medical services as well as long as you do not need to be licensed by the state to perform it. I can do procedures such as bandage changes, nail trims, subcutaneous injections/fluids, IV fluid maintenance as long as an IV catheter is present, mat shaving (definitely not a groomer), ear/eye medications and medicated baths. “My 2year old had the time of his four-legged life with Denise and her husband. I have never left my puppy for more than a couple days with someone other than family and I was a little nervous. We scheduled a meet and greet and the rest is history. They make you feel at ease the moment you step into their fenced in backyard. They asked a lot of questions to get to know my baby and I definitely appreciated that. We were gone for 6 days and my puppy was exhausted when we picked him up. Lol. He played and ran and rolled in the dirt to his heart's content. Denise sent pics and videos daily which I loved. I have absolutely no complaints and would not hesitant to leave my Stitch with them. He had a blast!”

Initially, I reached out to have her handle some dinners a couple of times a year but then I had an unexpected death in the family that required me to go out of town for seven days. She was wonderful working around my schedule. We received multiple updates showing how happy he is hanging with her family and dogs. This meant the world to us knowing he was is such good hands.”

“When I picked up Jackson, I was not sure he wanted to leave his vacation with Kathryn and her wonderful family! Sure he was excited to see us, but, then he laid down next to Kathryn as if he was feeling pretty comfortable at her home! She sent photos and write ups daily and this made me feel so much better about leaving him in her care. It was like he knew the family forever! This was the first time we went away without him in 8 years so I was a bit anxious about leaving. I would have no problems leaving him again if I have another opportunity to do so. I highly recommend Kathryn and I know he was very happy being there and well cared for. He enjoyed his daily walks and never missed a meal and perhaps, Me!!!!
