“My 2year old had the time of his four-legged life with Denise and her husband. I have never left my puppy for more than a couple days with someone other than family and I was a little nervous. We scheduled a meet and greet and the rest is history. They make you feel at ease the moment you step into their fenced in backyard. They asked a lot of questions to get to know my baby and I definitely appreciated that. We were gone for 6 days and my puppy was exhausted when we picked him up. Lol. He played and ran and rolled in the dirt to his heart's content. Denise sent pics and videos daily which I loved. I have absolutely no complaints and would not hesitant to leave my Stitch with them. He had a blast!”

“I don’t know where to begin; Megan and her family are the absolute best! My German Shepard/Cattle Dog is weary of new people, but she took to Megan and her family right away. I love how Megan was always available and how she consistently sent photos and videos to keep us updated; it’s like our pups were on our vacation just as we were cause based on the videos they were having so much fun I was almost jealous lol! I loved how she exposed my pups to her chickens and whatever interested them in her backyard. I also loved that they had children because my Teacup always had someone to play with. About: I have taken care of animals for over a year now at a dog daycare/boarding centre in a variety of different circumstances. From Mastiff’s to Chihuahuas, I am confident taking care of various different sized dogs with a variety of different dietary needs from raw diets to kibble diets, medical needs from dogs that get medication once a day to dogs that get medication several times a day, and activity needs from dogs that need regular exercise to senior dogs that don’t need to be exercised. I have also had experience handling dogs that are extremely nervous around new people, dogs that can resource guard toys, and dogs that are highly reactive. I am a full-time commuter college student with large gaps between my morning and afternoon classes which I can travel to and from the owners house to let their dogs out and play with during. The only time that I am unable to stop by the house between classes is on Thursdays where I will be gone from 8 am to 2 pm due to my in-person lab course. I only offer services at my clients house so as of not to subject the pet to unnecessary stress from being in a new environment. I can administer any medication that is not via injection, I can cater to a variety of diets ranging from raw meat every day to freshly cooked food three times a day to kibble twice a day depending on the dogs needs, I have personal leashes that I can use or I can use the owners leashes to take the dog on walks as often as request/needed.

Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. About: I worked at an animal hospital for 5 years as a technician. I assisted in every aspect of care, including surgery, pharmacology, nutrition, wound care, and behavior. At our small clinic, we were taught how to work alone with many different temperaments and how to safely navigate anxious dogs. As a part of my training, our hospital was also Fear Free Accreditied, meaning that I was trained specifically on how to reduce fear and stress in scary environments. I believe most animals are not aggressive, only afraid and need patience. I work from home 7-4 Monday through Friday. This would be in addition to my current job. I would not be able to stay at homes for long periods or overnight unless it is a weekend. I always stick to feeding times and walks. This helps keep the anxiety level down as the schedule has not been interrupted. I offer full medical services as well as long as you do not need to be licensed by the state to perform it. I can do procedures such as bandage changes, nail trims, subcutaneous injections/fluids, IV fluid maintenance as long as an IV catheter is present, mat shaving (definitely not a groomer), ear/eye medications and medicated baths. About: Ive taken care of different kinds of dogs since childhood. Family, friends, and locals have trusted me to feed, watch, or walk their dogs. I also can bathe dogs and brush them if needed. I work a part time job but I can stop in or help whenever needed. I typically work 4 hours a day and can care for animals before or after. I have a fenced in yard for my dog, and have multiple beds, towers, and scratching posts for my cats. I also have boxes of toys for both along with treats.

“My 2year old had the time of his four-legged life with Denise and her husband. I have never left my puppy for more than a couple days with someone other than family and I was a little nervous. We scheduled a meet and greet and the rest is history. They make you feel at ease the moment you step into their fenced in backyard. They asked a lot of questions to get to know my baby and I definitely appreciated that. We were gone for 6 days and my puppy was exhausted when we picked him up. Lol. He played and ran and rolled in the dirt to his heart's content. Denise sent pics and videos daily which I loved. I have absolutely no complaints and would not hesitant to leave my Stitch with them. “I don’t know where to begin; Megan and her family are the absolute best! My German Shepard/Cattle Dog is weary of new people, but she took to Megan and her family right away. I love how Megan was always available and how she consistently sent photos and videos to keep us updated; it’s like our pups were on our vacation just as we were cause based on the videos they were having so much fun I was almost jealous lol! I loved how she exposed my pups to her chickens and whatever interested them in her backyard. I also loved that they had children because my Teacup always had someone to play with. Lastly, I really appreciate Megan’s flexibility. We had car trouble coming back from the airport and not once did she ever make us feel bad for the inconvenience.
