“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! About two years ago I got my first domestic bunny, and now have two (of course Humphrey needed a bunwife). So I am experienced in bunny care as well. I am so excited to gain your trust by treating your fur babies like my own, and promise to make you feel secure leaving them with me! My schedule is pretty flexible. I babysit for a family in Preston three days a week but the times vary. It evens out to about 18/20 hours spread throughout three days so if your pet is here during those days they may be here without me for a few hours. My fiance does help when he’s off of work so as long as he’s home they would have him too. I own my home with my fiance, and we have a fenced in yard. The fence is about half of the height of your typical fenced in yard, so if your pet is curious and you think they would jump it we can accommodate a lead for your pet to be on just in case. This way they can still get the exercise and freedom a fenced in yard would provide. If your pet is used to going on walks, let me know so we can keep that same routine here. All outside playtime will be supervised as well. Our home contains a very friendly lab who is two and very high energy and gets excited easily, an older chihuahua mix (around 14 years old) and a middle aged chihuahua mix (6 years old). All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. All pets in my home are vaccinated. I am also a nursing student and my boyfriend is a police officer, so we like to think this helps make us trustworthy and professional people who will give you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I love animals of all sorts, and have had experience working in an animal science program for two years. On top of that, I have had experience with taking care of family and friends pets of different species, like rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I am currently a student at Salisbury University, but currently home in upper Delaware for Winter Break. I am available in the area from 9 am - 11 pm. About: I grew up with 2 Labs and a cat, Barney, Stormy, and Felix. You can’t help but fall in love. As a current dogfather I would love to get more but I think my Wife would go crazy haha. I’m happy to help you and your pets in times of need. I take care of my dog Cooper like he’s my son, taking him on walks, runs, and to the park every once an awhile, giving him 2 meals a day and the occasional treat. I make an effort at least 3 times a day to check in on my pet. I have a nice backyard and luckily my dog doesn’t run away as I don’t have a fence yet. Otherwise I take him on a walk with a leash around our neighborhood or at our neighborhood dog park.

About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.
About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. “Our two (a Golden and mixed lab) stayed a full week at “Camp Jill.” She sent pictures and positive encouragement that they were all good. We definitely recommend her. Our Golden swam for balls in her above ground pool and there was shade for them when they felt like sitting outside. We will call upon Jill again. Her home is an easy loop from 90th street bridge or backroads from Bethany.”
