“Kate was wonderful and Mr. Peanut settled in quite quickly with her AND her two own dogs. Peanut is very picky at who he likes and doesn't like. But he got along with the pack and as a doggie mom, that made me feel good. I will definitely use Kate again. As far as the Rover website, there looks to be some logistical issues. On my screen, it told me Kate was 82miles away, but a 30min drive. Please get that fixed. Rover for me was hard to use. I like simple. But Rover has all these twists and turns. For example, I was not allowed to just message sitters. I was forced to pick dates. I had been looking for a new babysitter for Mr. Peanut since we just moved, but Rover made me wait til I needed someone asap, which made my experience stressful. Not good. We should be able to meet and talk to these folks before we book. After all, we are parents, and we all should be allowed to interview these sitters much like we would if they were our human children. Thankfully Kate worked out. But it could have gone a lot smoother. Thanks Kate (and daughter!)”

About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

We spend most of our time in the open kitchen living room space. Small home and pets are allowed everywhere except on my bed. Big yard and proximity to everything in a very quaint little town by the water. Our cats live upstairs on their own floor when we have guests, so no worries.

About: I’ve had several dogs and cats and have sat for friends and family in the past. I have also rescued and cared for cats and dogs. I work remotely so I have a very open and flexible schedule to accommodate any time needs. I’m usually available for last minute openings or funky times. About: Ive been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 8 years old. I’ve always had multiple dogs in the house at a time. I’ve cared for dogs ranging from big to small, Seniors to puppies. I provide daily photos throughout your pets daily routine and tons of love I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of enough time to care for your fur baby. I believe all animals should be treated like they are you own even if they are temporary I live in a quiet cozy apartment with a big yard in the back. There is plenty of room for playtime and resting. Pets are welcome on all furniture
