Alyssa came for a meet & greet visit during the week before the weekend so she could meet the girls, see their environment & understand their food schedule & medication dosing schedule for Misty. She came for morning & evening feedings & sent us pictures from each visit. We knew they were in good hands while we were away. We will definitely call on her again! We highly recommend Alyssa!! We comfort your canine & feline friends during the day, so when you arrive home everyone can begin relaxing right away. We are truly "animal people". No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. We know first hand how hard it is to find reliable help to look after our animals and the farm when we need to leave for anything more than a long day. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. We care deeply about their well being, nurse them like children when they are sick and spend a great deal of time and effort keeping them healthy and happy. We are regulars with our local vet and feed mill and know the area well. Hard work and long days are par for the course for us. Our common sense is well polished and we pay great attention to detail and feel quality communication is key to any relationship. We have been renovating a small farm house for many years, a work in progress as they say. We like to do business in the local community and are now in a position to offer our experience to the pet owners in our area. We are professional without being stuffy and want all animals to enjoy a high quality of life. As a full time photographer, I work in my studio most days and sometimes weekends too. Pets are either with me in the studio, or in the house with us at night. Your dogs join me in the studio on days I am working there, and they'll have one feline companion. About: I have been around animals my whole life and I have 2 pets of my own. I feed and take them on walks every day I have 2 pets of my own. A dog named Reese and a cat named Sawyer. I am able to come to someone's home also. I also work in the evenings Wednesday through Sunday so I am able to care for animals in the mornings and all day on the days that I am off from my regular job which is Monday and Tuesday. If you need an overnight sitter I can do that as well. My schedule at work is usually 7 hrs and I would be able to come stay a night after I get off work. We can discuss that at a later time upon booking if needed. I take my dog out on the leash because of the place that I live at doesn't have a fenced in yard. Watch them closely when not on leash. I also have kennels that can separate them if needed.

About: Hi pet parents, I have lifelong experiences with many types of animals at various life stages: especially comfortable with large breed and high energy dogs, exotics (parrots, rats, reptiles), equines, and livestock. I am a college student with a very open and flexible schedule to be there for the pet as much as the pet parent wants! I can offer house sitting, dog walks, potty breaks, overnight care… I can also get mail, water plants, and other house tasks. I have done farm sitting for 5 years, both pets and livestock, caring for animals and doing farm chores. I am an experienced equestrian and am very comfortable with horses, horse care (feeding, mucking, turning out) and managing senior horses. I have reliable transport and am willing to travel for pet care. Routinely, I travel from school to home and various other farms to provide care to pets and livestock. Growing up with animals, i have had my fair share of bad pet sitting experiences and when I first started sitting, i promised to provide care I would expect for my own pets. I promise to interact with and treat pets as my own and to give each individualized care. I love caring for animals and researching the best ways to provide for any species I am caring for. I also understand the importance of animal behavior and body language when interacting with animals and have a particular love and respect for shy or aggressive pets.
