“The relationship started with a meet and greet and Yiqiuxi and Nick asked all of the right questions to ensure that it was a good fit. They were interested in his routines and most importantly the do's and don'ts so Gucci didn't pick up any bad habits. Next the drop off. They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. We appreciate their flexibility when I needed to add an extra day due to travel delays. I highly recommend Yiqiuxi and Nick and I am getting ready to book a new date right away. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many kinds all my life. I currently have my own 2 year old labrador mix who I have raised since he was 5 weeks old. I absolutely adore pets and know how important they are to owners and all pet parents. About: I love all dogs! My boyfriend makes fun of me because I abandon him when there is a dog nearby that I need to go pet. I have always had dogs growing up I currently have a two year old Pitbull named Dozer and he is like having a toddler. I enjoy taking him to dog parks and dog beaches, he loves other dogs and people. About: Growing up, my mom has always had at least 6 cats in the house and 2 dogs since i was the age of 10. I learned from my mom and sister to help take care of our pets and how to take care of them. My friends and acquaintances know how loving my family is of animals so I was always the one they called if they needed pet care. I’m experienced in walking dogs and cats; the harnesses, leashes and all! I can bathe any doggies that might get dirty from an outside adventure if I have your permission and of course if I’m in your home, I’ll be sure to clean up any messes. The rate is higher for cats because we do not own a cat right now and would need to get proper cat equipment specifically for your cat. All pet must be crate trained for safety. We do provide crate training services for puppies but keep in mind our dog will need to be crated during your puppy’s stay with us. “Jessica and Nick have been watching Sara Mae during the workday for a couple of months now. Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. Since staying with Jessica and Nick during the day during the work week, she has started to calm down, is now eating again, and putting weight back on that she had lost due to depression and stress. Jessica and Nick are quite literally life savers, and I cannot thank them enough for easing my mind about Sara Mae and being a huge part of the process of helping her get to a new, healthy, normal while I have to be at work. Your fur babies are in good hands!”

Mack is an anxious boy and is fearful of most strangers, so we have had difficulty finding someone who he felt comfortable with and could care for him while we’re away. Initially, we were nervous dropping him off because we weren’t sure how Mack would be, but he walked right up to Jesus and everything went great! Jesus provided plenty of pictures and updates throughout the day, which we really appreciate. My wife and I felt so much relief and were at ease knowing Mack was enjoying his day with Jesus. About: I am an experienced pet owner who would love to provide quality care for your pets. Your pets will never know you are gone!! Give us a try! I have two senior dogs who know they are loved. Both were rescued from bad situations and have been with me 8 and 13 years respectively. We do a daily walk around the neighborhood and they still look forward to it, even the one with 3 legs. I took care of him when his leg was amputated 5 years ago due to cancer and feel pretty good about giving meds, if necessary. Your dog will be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard and I do walks. I have cared for younger dogs also who want to play and fetch and run. There are two ponds in my neighborhood both dogs have a fun time sniffing anything and everything. We'll play a bunch of games, and explore all the smells around the neighborhood. I am comfortable feeding, administering medications. I will check fence or gates before letting a dog outside. Before leaving, I'll make sure to lock the doors and do one last check. Making sure the area the dog will stay in is clean and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crate are secure.

“The relationship started with a meet and greet and Yiqiuxi and Nick asked all of the right questions to ensure that it was a good fit. They were interested in his routines and most importantly the do's and don'ts so Gucci didn't pick up any bad habits. Next the drop off. They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. We appreciate their flexibility when I needed to add an extra day due to travel delays. I highly recommend Yiqiuxi and Nick and I am getting ready to book a new date right away. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“As a first time Rover client, my husband and I were very hesitant to leave our big boy with "anybody" not knowing if they would treat him like we do...like family! Well, *insert* Gio and Vanessa! They are not just "anybody" they are EVERYTHING!!!! From scheduling a meet up to dropping Zulu off, this whole experience with Rover, in particular, Gio and Vanessa, was so so amazing. Gio is who my husband and I met first, and we instantly clicked. He is warm, inviting, professional, and his love for animals is very apparent. We bought our little Big guy with us and even he fell asleep, peacefully, as we spoke about our likes and dislikes and how we parent Zulu. Gio was very upfront about how their system runs at their house, and because I'm a planner who also loves structure, so listening to Gio talk about how the drop off, daily videos, feedings, walks, interactions, and pickup would happen was like music to my ears. After our first meet up, we made sure to set the family up for success with Zulu and just like Gio said, things were so super smooth. He stuck to his word and shared daily videos and we chatted through Whats App when needed. He and his family showed Zulu kindness and love and we will NEVER forget that. For our first experience with leaving our furbaby in the care of who started out as a stranger, only to end this whole experience feeling like we left our guy with a home filled with love, we have to admit Gio and Vanessa are EXACTLY who you would want to care for your furbaby...no matter the size. Please don't hesitate to give them a try. It's a pup care heaven! We are totally satisfied and might I add, a bit spoiled by goodness to our furbaby! Go ahead, click on their page!!
