About: I have always had a pet in my house since the day I was born. Mostly dogs, but I have also had other smaller pets. I now have one 12 year old chocolate lab and one 6 year old black lab that I take care of everyday. Because of this I have experience with puppies and older dogs, along with dealing with more than one pet at a time. I currently have school from 10:30-2:15 but I am free anytime before then and after that. I also am available almost every weekend if needed. We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. About: I've owned and watched dogs since I was 10 years old. From small puppies, elderly dogs, to dogs huge as a mastiff and small as a chihuahua. Whether they be my own, friends, or families I held dear, being around and caring for dogs have always been a huge part of my life! About: Hello fellow pet owners ! I know we all love our pets and we also love our vacations. I understand the anxiety of leaving your pets behind when you travel. Rest assured that as a mother of a dog a cat and 15 chickens, I also understand their anxieties when their routine is disrupted by Mom or Dad taking time off. I have a deep love of all animals and will shower them with affection and take care of their specific needs as you require. Your pets will be well cared for while you are gone. Communication via phone or social media as desired while you are away. Will walk and talk to your pet as if they are family. Can also administer medication if needed.
About: I grew up on a farm in Purcellville and had over 6+ dogs, 4 cats and many farm animals. I love animals and I have a family dog of my own named Ziggy Marley. Pet care is something I feel very passionate about and something I’m fortunate to be able to experience! My schedule is always very flexible because I’m an online student studying Environmental Biology and sustainability! I do not have a fenced in yard but I live next to a large open field! I have a friendly trained animal willing to play with your animals! I also have a crate and many treats! Please let me know if your animal has a special diet or any allergies.

“Leaving our dog with Kristen was the best boarding experience she'd ever had! We don't often take a vacation without our dog, but the handful of times we had in the past, she was traumatized when I picked her up. She isn't crate trained and hates the little kennels at the vet and other commercial boarding facilities. Kristen's farm was like a vacation for her while we were on vacation! She loved the big open yards, having the run of the house, and being around the other dogs. Kristen is a warm, caring, responsible animal lover. It was like our old girl went to stay with a favorite aunt for a week! When I picked her up, she was dirty and tired and happy. ? Such a wonderful experience!
