About: I began seeking clients on Rover in the summer of 2025 as a way to make some more money for college and I love animals so I figured “why not!” - I found myself really bonding with every dog/cat I watched and cared for them as my own. My 7 month old puppy died due to negligence from his pet sitter and got hit by a car. I have experience with all kinds of animals (even bunnies, horses, fish, and more!) I was a working student from the ages of 10-15 years old and have my own horse so big dogs don’t scare me. I know how to deal with skittish or aggressive dogs because I had to learn to groom my own goldendoodle as he got older and became unpredictable due to dementia. It is important for me to make sure the animals I look after feel heard, are never left alone for too long, and have fun during my time with them! I only have one other job exercising steeple chase horses in the early mornings so I have a lot of availability to make house visits or spend the day as much as you would need me to! I also love to go on walks and take hikes, so if I am looking after an Active dog it is no problem! If your dog likes to play with other dogs I have a fenced in yard and two other dogs of mine who are very friendly. I am very neat and organized so the chance of your animal eating something or getting into something they’re not supposed to is very slim.

My regular daycare for Lilly was all booked up for spring break and I was stressed about finding an alternative, but it turns out I am so happy 😀 they were fully booked because we met Victoria and Duchess and we are just so impressed with her care. Multiple walks per day, lots of fetch and cuddles, and she even gifted us some super cute dog cookies in the shape of a corgi at the end of the week!! Victoria is super reliable and provides super timely communication and updates. I went right ahead and rebooked for next month when I’ll be out of town. She and Duchess get along soooo well and do everything together and are best friends. When I drop her off before work, Lilly’s butt and tail don’t lie!! No kids, married for over 40 years and living on a small farm in White Hall where we care for our menagerie of 4 legged friends. We know first hand how hard it is to find reliable help to look after our animals and the farm when we need to leave for anything more than a long day. Our alpacas are registered breeding stock and the guineas are for general amusement. But, the cats and dogs are all rescues, receive regular vet care and are fed on a routine schedule. We care deeply about their well being, nurse them like children when they are sick and spend a great deal of time and effort keeping them healthy and happy. We are regulars with our local vet and feed mill and know the area well. Hard work and long days are par for the course for us. Our common sense is well polished and we pay great attention to detail and feel quality communication is key to any relationship. We have been renovating a small farm house for many years, a work in progress as they say. We like to do business in the local community and are now in a position to offer our experience to the pet owners in our area. We are professional without being stuffy and want all animals to enjoy a high quality of life. As a full time photographer, I work in my studio most days and sometimes weekends too. Pets are either with me in the studio, or in the house with us at night. Your dogs join me in the studio on days I am working there, and they'll have one feline companion. About: When I am home from school, I live with 2 dogs and 4 cats. My mother frequently fosters dogs from all different walks of life, so I am used to adapting to many unique circumstances! I have experience caring for small, medium and large dogs, having an English Shepherd myself, along with being able to care over cats! My dog at home was crate trained, but we now have allowed him to wonder the house a little more. That being said, I can easily get a dog into a crate or whatever suits the animals needs. I also have a friendly indoor/outdoor cat who comes and go as he pleases. Along with him we have a strictly indoor cat, so I am very good at paying attention of the flow of traffic within the house.

“Lydia was fantastic! She welcomed her home to us with her lovely family including her chickens during our meet and greet. We proceeded to boarding 2 nights with her. Her home provided a warm, cozy and energetic vibe for our Poodle who is out going and craves human interaction. Lydia was not familiar with poodle grooming initially but after a quick demonstration and positive feedback she mastered it in no time. I appreciated her attention to detail, ability to communicate throughout the day and her willingness to learn how to care for specific dog breeds. It was a mutual rewarding experience and she even supervised her children doing obedience training with our pup.”
