Experienced with using a clicker to train, and using a beep / vibrate collar for training highly spirited dogs (in combination with positive reinforcement, always). The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. “Sadie is very kind and paid close attention to all information I gave her, including training I'm currently working on with my pup, and continued to follow that training on their walks. Sadie sent lots of pictures and I could tell that my pup obviously had a great time. I would gladly have Sadie take care of my pup in the future and would recommend her to others.”
About: I am currently new to a career in heaLth care and I graduated from UMD. I’ve grown up with animals all my life ranging from cats, dogs, and tiny furry friends as well. I am energetic and Iove releasing my energy with animals. I am caring, nurturing, and very responsible. My schedule allows me to be very flexible and I am willing to work around a busy animal owners as well! I am a sucker for animals and there’s nothing I won’t do to keep them happy! About: Hello! I am a veterinary technician of 8 years and pet owner of 20+ years who is highly experienced in animal care and petsitting. As a cat, horse, and previous dog owner myself I understand that our pets are our family! I look forward to meeting your fur baby! I work part time hours and am off weekends and holidays. I’m happy to spend my free time playing, walking, and spending time with your pet! While at work crates, gates, or free roam can be used depending on your pets needs and comfort. Pets will be monitored through pet cams during working hours. While in my home pets can have free roam or access to a crate depending on their needs and comfort. For walks I utilize harnesses and if needed can add a back up slip lead if owner feels more comfortable to ensure safety. Pets will always have access to fresh water and toys and will be well loved while in my care!
