We live on a small farm in rural Western Maryland, about 20 minutes west of Frederick. We have experience with all kinds of animal care, from horses, cows, goats, sheep, and poultry. We are currently able to provide drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals, as well as house or farm sitting, and in home boarding, as well as hourly dog park style use of our large fenced yard. Your pets will be a happy addition to our family in our home! Our whole property is fenced by 4 ft or taller board and wire fencing, with smaller areas sectioned off in the front and back yards. The driveway is gated and secure. We want your pets to feel as safe as our own. Leah and Andrew are both available for petsitting services. We currently work only at home, tending our farm homestead, and have a flexible schedule. We are able to drop in one or two times a day, or less or more often, as needed. We treat every animal as if it were our own and provide a level of care that we would expect from our pet care provider.

About: Ive had pets of my own and work with animals through vet hospital. I love cuddling, playing, and going on walks with pets. I am open to assist with giving medication for doggies who need extra care. I will happily send over pics of your pet during visits. I'm currently part time at a pet hospital. Availability can vary, just message me and we can try to work something out. On days I work usually I'm available in the evenings. I can offer boarding if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, I like to take pets out on walks for potty multiple times a day. I have 1 dog ( Wilbur ) + 2 cats (Phineas and Senu ). Wilbur is very friendly and would love the company of your pet. He is a tree walker coonhound Cats can be separated if needed when boarding your pet. For check ins - I can come over to make sure your pets have their food + water set. If meds need to be given I'm open to doing that. I'll also spend some time with them to offer some love and make sure they have some time outdoors. If owner allows I can take your dog out hiking / extended walks or to a park.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of raising a dog from 9 weeks old to his current 13 years. I’ve been there every step of the way, from puppyhood to adulthood and senior years. Plus, my dog tore his ACL, so I know firsthand the challenges of keeping your pet safe and out of harm’s way, along with the need for special care and instructions. I am currently a senior student athlete in college with a flexible schedule. I wanted to find a part-time job that I would actually enjoy, and I have always loved being near animals. Coming back home to my dog is always the highlight of my trip, so being near dogs and getting to see the joy on their faces has always made me smile. I think pets are happiest when they’re in their own space, so I’d rather work at someone else’s home. Plus, getting to know the dog and the pet owners will really help everyone feel more comfortable.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and cats and currently have Berlioz, my 6-year-old tabby, and Chibi, my 6-month-old Husky. We live in a single family home with an unfenced backyard but in a quiet neighborhood. There's plenty of lawn space and a 10x10 ft dog pen in our backyard.

My schedule is somewhat flexible with plenty of early morning and afternoon availability, as well as evenings opening up at 9 or 10 pm. This is true 7 days a week with 2 rotating days off each week. I typically have one 3-day weekend available each month. My place is not conducive to have your pets stay. But I am happy to come to you, whether for a walk, a feeding, playtime, some combination of all of the above. I also welcome the opportunity to stay over in your home if the need arises and trust has been established.
