I only host one dog at a time (unlike many petsitters), so your pup will be treated like family and get my full attention (and all the belly rubs they deserve). If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy home-away-from-home where your dog will be loved and spoiled, I’d love to be their sitter! Please note: unfortunately we have an allergy in our home to short-haired shedding dogs and can only accept long-haired (hypoallergenic) dogs :) I'm home all day to spend time with your pup and treat them like they were my own! If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for the last 10 years. Dog walking, pet sitting and the occasional sleepover with friends/family animals. I am a newer cat mom (1.5 years) but rest assured, I have picked it up quick! I currently work full time in the school system however I have summers off so I will have lots of time come June to meet new animal friends! I have a half acre lot, not fenced. We currently use an e-collar for our 10 year old golden retriever Charlie. We do have a run available and could easily crate an animal should that be the owners preference. I can also do potty walks as we live in a beautiful neighborhood and close to Stanley Park.

“Heidi is such a wonderful pet sitter. We were so fortunate she was able to take our wonderful senior rescue pup for a week. My dog is a love, but takes time to warm up to people and Heidi gave him so much grace and set him up for success. He was sick one day while in her care and I so appreciated her non alarmist, calm caring for him and frequent updates. Sometimes when we get our pup back from away stays he's notably stressed. I think he actually came home calmer than ever from his stay-cation with Heidi. We hope she never stops pet sitting.”

About: My husband and I will be teaming up to care for your pup! Between the both of us we have years of experience caring for family pets and understand the importance of providing dogs with attention, exercise, affection, and consistency. While me and my husband both work full time, our schedules are coordinated so that someone is almost always home. Your dog will never be left alone for extended periods and will receive plenty of companionship and care throughout the day. We welcome dogs that enjoy being apart of a family environment and are comfortable around children and a small friendly pup!
