About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. Dogs are loved around here and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...And I put a certain radius, which is more so for popins...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

I work two days a week as a supply teacher, and my husband works remotely from home, so most days there will be 2 adults around to play with your pup! We have a large, fenced yard and plenty of room in the house for your dog's crate and favourite nap mats. If your dog is used to being allowed on furniture or beds, we will allow it in our home too. I do currently have a dog of my own, Bob, a Brussels Griffon. My partner, Dylan, and I work at home 4/5 days. We stagger our days so that someone is always home with the dogs and are never left at home alone. We both work together to make sure my dog and yours are interacting well with each other and are having a good time! We are happy to accommodate any dogs that need extra TLC during the work week from 8/8:30AM to 5:30PM. We are unable to do pick ups later than 5:30PM at this time. Your dog will be able to join us on our morning and midday walk! We only take one dog at a time to provide the highest quality care. I have an unfenced yard, but will always take your dog out leashed. Your dog will be a part of our family during the stay and is allowed on all furniture.

Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life. Friends and family often have me dog or house sit for them. I have cared for all types/breeds. Personally have helped raise dobermans, pits, labs, beagles and mutts. I am currently between jobs for a few months (I am a contract health care worker), so have a lot of time to spend with pups. We love going on long walks, trips to the dog park, and relaxing around the house together. Aside from growing up with him, I have experience dog-sitting when my brother goes out of town. “We originally asked Caroline if she could walk and feed our two dogs as we were planning to a long day trip. However, we woke up to find our oldest dog not doing very well. It turned out that he had cancer and that we would have to put him down. It was a long agonizing day trying of running tests and considering options before finally deciding that the most humane treatment would be to euthanize. Through all this, we are thankful to Caroline who took care of our remaining fur children--a dog and a cat. It was a great relief to not have to think or worry about them so we could focus on our oldest dog in his time of need.”

About: I grew up with a dog from the age 3-16! My best friend has a Boxer and I've been taking care and watching him frequently since he was a puppy! I also worked at an office where the owners had two dogs, a small chihuahua and a greater Swiss mountain dog.
