About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

About: I’ve lived with pets for my whole life, and I currently have 1 dog and 2 cats (and 5 chickens!) at home. I have experience pet sitting for all kinds of animals (including ducks!), and all of the dogs and cats I’ve taken care of hold a special place in my heart. I took care of a cat who needed medicine squirted into her mouth each morning, as well as a dog who needed special medicine with her food. Overall, the biggest thing I bring to the table as a pet sitter is my love of all pets, and my dedication to making sure they receive the best love and care while you’re away. Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

I am available throughout the week. I am basically up everyday before 9 am so i can have time to do things around my home and have time for your pets. In my home I go on walks all the time, or trails, or even dog parks. I always give the fur babies love and attention. At your place its whatever you need me to do, but I do play with the pups and kitties when they have toys.
About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.
About: I am an active human and love the companionship of dogs for walks and hikes, as well as a snuggle on the couch. I have cared for puppies as well as senior dogs. I am currently unemployed and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule as well as appreciate the routine of pet care to help me build routine of my own in this moment of unemployment. It is important for me to learn before caring for a pet about their quirks and it is my goal to build trust both with you and your furry friend

About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

My dog is a love, but takes time to warm up to people and Heidi gave him so much grace and set him up for success. He was sick one day while in her care and I so appreciated her non alarmist, calm caring for him and frequent updates. Sometimes when we get our pup back from away stays he's notably stressed. I think he actually came home calmer than ever from his stay-cation with Heidi. We hope she never stops pet sitting.”
