“Michael is truly a dog whisperer. My German Shepherd is highly anxious and lives in a household that he’s an only dog with free range of 3 acres. He doesn’t tolerate kenneling very well. He typically shuts down, but with Michael’s expertise and patience, he got Milo to integrate with the rest of the pack. It was truly amazing… he actually socialized!!! I’m so very happy and would definitely board Milo there again as well as consider doggy daycare just to keep him socializing. Many thanks Michael!!!”

He's very unique and emotionally complex, and doesn't always relate so easily with people. We are very grateful for her attentive care to our precious cats, and highly recommend her services. “Grace was super friendly and enthusiastic about giving my cat the best care possible. She communicated well before and during the booking. My kitty has asthma and needs to be given her inhaler twice a day. This can be a bit intimidating to some, but Grace was willing to learn and ask questions. She did have some difficulty reaching the goal number of breaths with the Aerokat, but it's impossible to know the cause. I didn't have her practice using the Aerokat during our meet-and-greet, so she was on her own the first time using it. Also, there are days when Josie is fussy and I also struggle to get the full 10 breaths in. When she had trouble reaching 10 breaths, she reached out to me for recommendations. This is the most I could ask for. The note on her final visit simply stated that Josie was doing well and had been taken care of (she did include pictures). I like when a bit more detail is included. Overall, she truly cared about my kitty, followed directions well, sent pictures every visit, and reached out when she needed help. While I do wish that she had written a bit more in her updates and had more success with the inhaler, I don't think this should affect her rating as I could've asked for more detail in updates and done more training with the inhaler. I would book with her again.”

I have trained my dog through the GoodPup app and he knows the commands sit, stay, lay down, up, paw, leave it, heal, touch, and find it. Teryn, my partner, and I both grew up in Amherst and are back in the happy valley starting this summer. About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friends, and coworkers pets for over 15 years, and consistently pet sitting since 2020. My experience ranges from cats and kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, ferrets, mice, rats, fish, and even tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space tidy; laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in mail, take out trash. I want your home to be a safe haven, with nothing to tend to when you return. My shifts are Tuesday 12:30-6:30pm, Wednesday 1-6:30pm, and Friday 1-6:30pm. Please ensure your dog is okay at home for this time during the week. Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. My house sitting is very in demand, so please book early for best availability! Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about keeping your pet safe. I love a harness for walks, I’m familiar with gentle leads, and I carefully supervise backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I have a good eye for ticks. I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have been caring for dogs and cats since I was about 10. Most of my experience has come from helping family, friends, and neighbors with their pets when they need someone they can trust. I’ve taken care of pets with different personalities and energy levels, and I really enjoy getting to know what makes each one comfortable and happy. I’m happy to take dogs on walks, play with them, feed them, give them attention, or just keep them company, and I’m just as comfortable spending time with cats and making sure they get the care and attention they need. “Michael is truly a dog whisperer. My German Shepherd is highly anxious and lives in a household that he’s an only dog with free range of 3 acres. He doesn’t tolerate kenneling very well. He typically shuts down, but with Michael’s expertise and patience, he got Milo to integrate with the rest of the pack. It was truly amazing… he actually socialized!!! About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life growing up. I know how to care for them and love them correctly. I love being around pets. I currently work part time so I’m not too busy with work. I go to school 4 days a week but have plenty of time at night and sometimes during the day. I will always make sure to watch your pets. I have a yard for them to play in and have time to walk them. I have other teenage girls in my house who love pets just as much as I do.
