“My dog stayed two nights and two days with Brooke and was very happy. Pip (my dog) got a little snappy with Brooke's dog Suki when they were first meeting, and both Brooke and Suki were very chill about it. Brooke told me everyone settled down quickly and reported a good stay. Her calm inspired confidence. Good communication. I was disappointed to find on arrival that the yard is not yet fenced as advertised, but Brooke let the dogs play outside leashed. I believe they are working on the fence. Great dog sitter!”

“Yenifer took excellent care of my dog. He was so happy with her! She made sure she communicated everyday with us during the stay, sent us pictures and updates. We are very happy with her services and would strongly recommend her. Thank you, Yenifer.”

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my pup gets when he stays with Tetiana. He is a bit neurotic and has separation anxiety - he is not an easy customer. Tetiana and her mom are excellent with him -- they give him lots of love, attention, and walks-- and he always comes home in a great mood. Thank you, Tetiana!”

“Patti ( and her family) are the best! It was my first time leaving my pup and it was a 12 day honeymoon. I was nervous but she sent pictures and updates every couple days and I’m pretty sure my little guy was actually sad to leave. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!”

“This was my first experience using rover and leaving my doggo outside of my care. John and his wife were the absolute best, the sweetest souls and dolly their dog is just that, a doll! They are now my go tos and I look forward to seeing them again!!”

“Franny took wonderful care of my 14 year old Charlie overnight. She’s a very kind person and Charlie felt completely comfortable with her. He also got along well with her dog. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Jessica and Josie were wonderful with Miss Ruby. Even understanding her occasional accident in the house as coming from anxiety. Possibly due to construction noises which were expected to be gone before Miss Ruby’s visit. It changed my perspective from paying for Dogcare to paying to have Miss Ruby share her joy with Josie and Jessica and their family. ???”

“Mary and Todd are the absolute best dog sitters! Their great care for our dog Toby gives us a lot of peace of mind. We know he is having a great time — it shows in the photos that Mary sends to us throughout his stay.”

“Our dog had a fabulous stay with Mahayla! Since it was our first time, Mahayla offered to come to our home to get to know our pup before caring for her the next day. They hit it off immediately and Mahayla explained her background in animal/dog behavior studies and reassured us that all would go well... and it did! Our pup had a blast trail hiking and also just relaxing at Mahayla's home. Mahayla clearly understands and loves dogs, and it was clear that she was focused on our dog's enjoyment, comfort level and care. She was also focused on our needs as the owners. Leading up to care day she was extremely responsive. On care day she sent photos and updates. A perfect stay...thanks, Mahayla!”

“5 Stars!! Kathleen and her husband were amazing! Dudley came home happy and VERY welll cared for. The property is very dog friendly and Kathleen's dogs were a delight and accommodating to a new visitor. Can't express enough how grateful we are to have found Kathleen.”

“We couldn’t have asked for our doggie to be more loved and cared for. We just moved from California and were nervous about leaving our pup for the first time since the big move, but Katelyn and her family were absolutely wonderful. They sent photos to keep us posted and he looked perfectly comfy and at home in each. We are so grateful to have found Katelyn and would recommend her to others without hesitation. Our dog came back to us as though he had been on a retreat! Calm, happy, and himself.”

“Carmela was super nice with my elder dog. My chihuahua suffered violence from a teenager and now his behavior is not the best. Carmela was so comprehensive and knew how to manage him to keep him feel safe in her home. I am so thankful that she received my baby in her home for the time I had to travel.”

About: I love a challenge and a new four legged friend! Puppy biting, pulling on walks, endless energy? Let me know and we can come up with a good plan to meet your pups needs. I’m happy to hike with dogs, water activities, or other outdoor outings if it is what your pup needs to be their best at home. I also have a large fenced in yard to play fetch as opposed to a walk if that helps your dog get their energy out better! (6ft tall wood privacy) I learn quickly and care about how you want your pet care of above all else. I’ve owned, cared for, and fostered many animals across numerous ages and breeds. I have availability on weekends and after 4pm most weekdays. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute requests as my job allows for a good amount of flexibility I can adjust for a specific situation. I reinforce good behaviors or redirect bad behaviors with positive methods. I will not place any animal in an overly stressful environment and will meet them where they are at.
“Karl took great care of our two dogs. He knew I was nervous since it was the first time leaving them with someone and he kept me posted with updates and photos. They had a great time!”

“Peter was such a wonderful sitter. His updates were timely and detailed and I felt confident that Nutmeg was cared for, happy, and healthy during her stay. I will definitely ask Peter to sit again if I’m ever in the area again.”

“Chelsea was amazing and I would highly recommend. She administered insulin shots for my dog and accommodated my dog’s special needs. Her family was very caring and loved having my dog over for the short stay.”

“Alyson stopped in each day to feed and spend a little time with our 4 month old cat, Luna. As new cat owners, we were very apprehensive leaving someone to take care of her. Alyson was the perfect choice and we will definitely be using her again!!”

“Knowing that our cat is under McKenna’s care has given us complete peace of mind! She has demonstrated to be thorough, reliable, and friendly. Thank you McKenna for your work!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for over 20 years and dogs for my entire life, including animals with both medical needs and behavioral challenges. That experience has taught me how to be patient, observant, and respectful of each pet’s unique personality and comfort level. I’m also a registered nurse with 10 years of nursing experience, and that medical background often transfers well when caring for pets with health issues. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, keeping up with medication routines, and noticing subtle changes that may need attention. Most of all, I genuinely love furry friends and know how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their baby is being cared for with kindness, skill, and reliability.

“Sophia was fantastic with my pup, DaVinci the other day. She’s super responsible and took excellent care of my pride and joy. I feel very comfortable with leaving him with her and highly recommend her!”

“I left Leona in charge of Romeo and my apartment while in Boston for major surgery. Leona was very responsible and took just as good of care of Romeo as well as my plants and living space as I would have. She provided peace of mind which I’m grateful for. Romeo looks forward to seeing her again!”

“Clara did a wonderful job with my cat, Jake. She was communicative with me, sending pictures and updates. She took the time to brush him and give him special treats. He seemed very content and happy! I would absolutely book Clara again. Any pet and pet parent is lucky to have her providing excellent care!”

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”

About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.
“Christina took wonderful care of my kitties - Lucy, Fox and Billie. From the initial contact and through the duration of my trip, her communication was excellent, visits were prompt, photos were very nice to see and she kindly did everything the way I like it to be done. She is professional, reliable and caring. I highly recommend Christina as a sitter.”

About: I own 3 cats and have never lived in a household without them. Cats are one of my favorite things about life. They are each as unique from each other as humans are, and I love this about them. Aside from my own, I have cared for cats of family and friends over the years. I honor and respect the uniqueness of every feline. Each cat’s needs and routines are unique. Building trust with a cat is rewarding, and it is always like making a new friend.

“I can’t recommend Bella enough! From the moment I met her, I knew my pups were in great hands. She took the time to get to know my dogs and their routines, which made me feel so at ease. Throughout my time away, Bella sent me daily updates and adorable photos of my pups playing and enjoying their time. Each picture captured their happiness—tails wagging and big smiles! It was such a relief to see them so content and well cared for. She truly went above and beyond, providing not just care but also love and attention. I will definitely be booking Bella again for future trips. If you’re looking for someone reliable and caring, look no further!”

About: I am good at working with all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs. I have a large fully fenced back yard and live on a quiet street. For longer stays of 1-2 weeks I offer pick up within a 30-45 minute drive from Dalton (this includes Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lenox). I love dogs and grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes as well as owning my own sweet cavalier Max until he passed. Looking forward to showering love on your four-legged family member: lots of cuddles, play, walks. I've dog sat quite a bit - from sweet older dogs to nervous little dogs to velcro Portuguese water dogs. :-) Whatever your dogs routine, I will follow your instructions to the letter to ensure as little disruption to your dogs routine as possible so they feel safe and happy until your return. I know how hard it can be on owners to leave a beloved member of the family behind and how hard it is on a dog to miss their owner. I have dog beds, treats and toys (if allowed). Looking forward to hearing from you. I work from home so your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention from morning to evening. I usually walk dogs according to the schedule they are used to. In between, they can hang with me. IFeeding times will also coincide with your instructions. I'm an early riser so you are welcome to drop your dog off (with notice) as early as 7:30 am. I have a large three bedroom home with an huge fenced back yard on a quiet street near trails. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.
“Tetiana was marvelous! She was able to take us rather last minute and provided very attentive care to our extremely playful but also a bit nervous dog. She greeted us outside and immediately got to work making our dog feel comfortable. She invited us into her home to help acclimate our dog. And then sent a number of updates with pictures confirming all was well. We are so grateful for the care she provided.”

“Irene was great with Sadie. Sadie loved playing with Goldie and loved the friendly and warm reception she got. Sadie was given both play and rest time and really looked really comfortable with Irene when I picked her up.”

About: My experience in pet care began during my childhood on my grandparents’ farm, where I was surrounded by a wide variety of animals every day. From an early age, I learned the importance of responsibility, compassion, and attentive care. I gained hands-on experience feeding, grooming, and nurturing animals of all kinds—including dogs, cats, livestock, and small animals—each with their own unique needs and personalities. More than just daily routines, I developed strong, loving bonds with the animals I cared for, treating them as family. That foundation shaped my deep understanding of animal behavior and my commitment to providing patient, personalized, and reliable care for every pet I work with. I bring a deep love and understanding of dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From playful pups to sweet seniors, I tailor each walk to fit their needs. I prioritize safety, communication, and fun—always engaging with your dog and even teaching basic cues like sit, stay, and wait during our adventures. I’m passionate about nature and I believe dogs thrive when they can safely explore their environment —sniffing the breeze, feeling the grass under their paws, and soaking up the world around them. I’m dependable, energetic, and treat every dog like my own. Whether it’s a gentle stroll or a playful outing, your pup will be in great hands and have a tail-wagging good time! Dog walking fits perfectly into my current routine. I’m a part-time healthcare worker with a consistent schedule, working from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Outside of those hours, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability and plenty of time to dedicate to your pup. I truly enjoy incorporating walks into my day—they keep me active, bring me joy, and let me connect with more wonderful dogs. Your dog will receive dependable, loving care from someone who’s already made this a part of daily life. Safety, trust, and a positive environment are at the heart of every walk I take. I prioritize clean, open, and dog-friendly spaces—like the Rail-Trail, local parks, and secure walking paths—where pups can enjoy fresh air and nature safely. I always use leash control, stay highly observant of their behavior, and make sure every walk is calm, comfortable, and secure. Whether we’re exploring a quiet trail or playing at a safe dog park, your dog’s well-being is my top priority. You can trust that your pup is in caring, capable, and experienced hands every step of the way.

About: I work a registered nurse schedule, so I’m very used to being organized, dependable, and managing my time well. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I truly enjoy and find deeply grounding. Being around animals is good for the nervous system, and pet care feels like a meaningful, calming complement to my work in nursing. I value the chance to give pets attentive, compassionate care while also doing something that brings a sense of balance to my week. I only provide care for your pets in their own home, because they can be so sensitive to change and are usually happiest in their own environment. I aim to bring a calm, steady presence that helps your pets feel comfortable while keeping their routines as normal as possible. I’m experienced with animals who need extra support and am comfortable administering oral medications, inhaled medications like inhalers, and subcutaneous medications. I also really value all the little details pet parents know about their babies, whether it’s a favorite hiding spot, a specific feeding routine, or something that seems unusual to anyone else. Nothing is too weird, and I’m always happy to include those details in their care so they can feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

I'm currently walking dogs 2 days out of the week looking for more to work with within the week. I have an open schedule and interested. I have separate spaces available for each animal. In my care at anytime, I will use provided equipment for transportation. Your pet safety is number one.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. My parents also run a dog sitting business on cape cod and I help out there when I can! I am also fully insured! I’m a diligent, reliable and clean person that will leave your home and dog happier than I found it. I am also fully insured!
About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I know how to feed animals and care for them, can follow special instructions as I know they are important. As much as I would love to care for your fur baby at my home, I cannot.
“Kathleen! Thank you for the last minute meet and greet / walk in the same day. It was so awesome to see Tessie fully open up to you. We are looking forward to many more hang outs!”

About: I acknowledge that routine is important with pets and therefore will mold my style to fit your pets norm. (This includes your rules for your pet, anything you are training them to do, and any medication). Before taking care of your pet I make sure I fully understand their daily routine to make sure their schedule isn’t thrown off. I have experience administrating medicine to pets. I also have experience giving baths to pets as long as their grooming supplies are supplied. Also I have taken care of pets for around 3 years and am very flexible as I want to make it as easier on you as possible. I am a teacher so I have all day to spend with your pup during summer months. Also during the school year, I get off in the late afternoon on Weekdays so I can be there to take care of your pup by early evening. I respect my clients space and I am also happy to take care of any additional things around the house (watering plants, bringing in mail, etc.) if asked.

About: Animals kept me safe my entire life, now I return the favor by keeping your babies safe while you’re away. ❤️ I have been working with animals my whole life. At only 3 I moved in with my step father onto a small farm(yes this means I can feed your chickens, gather your eggs, clean your stalls, and feed your cattle, pigs, or even horses). I spent three years working in the veterinary field where I learned to better understand and triage animal emergency and how to deal with them calmly and safely. I have 3 dogs, and 2 cats of my own as well as a bearded dragon and a few chickens, whom I love more than life. I have minimal boarding experience, but have had or worked with everything from fish and birds, to dogs to cattle, from snakes to horses, and I love each one of these creatures just as much as the rest. I adore all animals, and cherish my pets so much, and finding some one you can trust to REALLY care for them can be a challenge, so let me make your life a little easier with flexible, reliable, patient and gentle care. As a pet mom to 11 furry, scaly, and feathered babies, I know how hard it can be to find reliable pet care. My animals are my children, my babies; the most important things in my world. I promise to love yours the way I’d love my own. I am currently unemployed and taking a leap. What I’d LOVE is to start my own pet care company. I know how hard it is to find pet care in and around the Berkshires, especially the holidays when all the day cares and well known sitters are booked - so let me take some of that weight off you. I’m flexible and reliable and can do drops ins, walks, day stays, over nights, or multiple day stays. I’m open to any animal type, including pocket pets, exotics and special needs. What can I say? Pets are really the only thing most of us like in this crazy world; so it’s kind of the perfect job. 😉 I am open to all types of care, all types of animals, and all types of situations. I have experience in vet medicine and have had elderly and special needs animals my whole life. No matter how long my interaction with your baby is, I assure you it will be filled with love.
About: I have my own dog walking/Pet Sitter business called “Canine in motion” On facebook and instagram. I’m super excited to have new clients reach out to me that need a dog walker/pet sitter. I’ve worked at an animal shelter, a doggy day care and I also used to volunteer at a nearby animal shelter to help walk dogs. Through those experiences i’ve learned so much about different dog breeds and other small animals. I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pup! I’m available for pet sitting/dog walking Monday-Friday. My weekends are also free. Why should I look after your dog while you're on vacation or unable to look after them? I give genuine love and passion to dogs. I understand their needs, both physical and emotional, and i’m dedicated to providing them with the utmost care and attention. My patience and attentiveness allow me to anticipate their needs and respond accordingly, ensuring their comfort and well-being. I have a keen eye for detail, noticing subtle cues and behaviors that may indicate their mood or health. I’m responsible, I follow instructions diligently, whether it's regarding feeding, exercise, or medication. My calm and nurturing presence creates a safe and secure environment, allowing dogs to feel at ease in my care. With me, dogs will find a trustworthy and compassionate companion, someone who will go above and beyond to ensure their happiness and safety.
About: I've been house and pet sitting for ten years plus, besides that I've been an owner of many dogs and cats. There is nothing that makes me happier than the well-being of them. When you choose me for the care of your fur babies, they'll be taken care of to the maximum comfort and standard. I'm flexible in that I work remotely... So i huge amount of the time i will be around to cater to your pets. And also will be able to walk them often and keep them stimulated I'll make sure their safety and the environment they're in are safe and nurturing. If it's the owner's house I won't change a thing, if it's my house I'll have them have access to all that they would have at their home.
About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Labs, so I’m very familiar with big personalities, lots of energy, long walks, playtime, and plenty of slobbery love. 🐾 I also adopted a cat, which taught me that sometimes the best way to win a pet over is to let them come to you (and maybe offer a few treats!). Although my own pets have since passed, they gave me years of experience, amazing memories, and a genuine love for caring for animals. I’m patient, playful, attentive, and always focused on making pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet wants an adventure outside, a game of fetch, or just some extra love and company, I’m happy to be their new buddy while you’re away! ❤️ I currently own my own business and make my own hours and work from home, so I can easily make my own schedule fit around any pet care! I'm lucky to have an open, comfortable and clean home where I can walk animals on the many acres I live on. I can also crate animals if that's how they are trained. When in other people's homes, I'm incredibly conscious of being considerate, following directions to respect their space, and understanding how the animal uses and loves the space.

About: I have taken care of 2-4 dogs since I was 10 years old. Being attentive and making my dogs feel comfortable is very important to me. They’re more than pets they’re family! I have taken care of my two dogs everyday and have since they were both puppies. Now that I am not at home with them anymore I am looking to apply that love and attention to someone else’s great pet! Properly taking care of pets to me means making sure they they get what they need; food, water, affection, time outdoors, walks, and lots of love.
About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and understand that every pet deserves patience, kindness, and reliable care. I’m new to Rover but I’m committed to providing a safe, loving, and stress free experience for every pet. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and following your pet’s routine exactly as instructed. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I’ll treat your dog with the same love, respect, and attention I’d give my own. I’m currently a part-time barista, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I carefully plan my work around my Rover bookings so I can provide reliable, attentive care. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they deserve I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I understand that every dog has different needs, so I’ll follow your feeding, walking, medication, and potty routines exactly as instructed. I’ll provide plenty of love, attention, playtime, and exercise while making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a calm, reliable, and trustworthy experience for both you and your pet.

“Abigale was wonderful with Bailey our senior pup. She administered his special diet food and sent us great daily photo updates which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. They provided a safe, cozy environment and we joked that Bailey seemed to have made himself right at home! I would not hesitate to book with them again !”

“I booked Rachel last minute fully expecting for her to not respond or say she was available and she responded within minutes for my last second request. She and her family took excellent care of Hank and sent me several pictures and updates through out. 10/10. Very happy to have found someone trust worthy i can leave my dog with and have no worries without feeling like i am burdening friends or family.”

“Kim was the perfect dog sitter for our one-year-old miniature labradoodle! She took great care of our dog, sending pictures and updates and always responding quickly to any questions. Next time we travel, we will absolutely go to Kim again. Thank you so much!! :)”
