About: I have taken care of dogs and cats(only a couple) since I was a kid. My friends, family, and nanny families knew they had someone they could trust to take care of and love their fur baby like it was mine. I have lived with a dog my entire life-all rescues(Golden Retriever, Pitty Mixes, King Charles Spaniel, Rotty Mix, Lab Mixes, Great Dane…) Our current fur baby Midnight is a senior Lab Pitty mix. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medication, feeding, bathing, walking, cleaning up after, and transporting your dog. I have less experience with cats, but have house sat several cats-making sure to follow their feeding schedule and cleaning out their litter box. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked with children 6 weeks to 5 years old for over 12 years. Which means I have lots of patience, love, and understanding. I have been lucky to be able to stay home with our daughter the last five years. But I am ready to make my way back into part-time work. I believes pets are our family and I will treat yours like mine. It would be a honor to help care for and love on them. I am currently a stay at home mom. My daughter is in preschool three days a week and starting kindergarten in the fall. So I have flexibility in my schedule. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown breed. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. I am used to recognizing and responding to their needs and treating them with the utmost care and affection. I have experience with walking my own dogs, one of which was a large dog and the other is small, so I know what to expect when walking a dog of any size. I also know to be very vigilant while on dog walks and to be cautious of other dogs, when I take my own dogs on walks I avoid any interaction between them and other dogs we may see on our route because you just never know the temperament of another persons dog. About: I have owned many many pets in my lifetime, 7 cats and 4 dogs. As well as owning my own animals I worked for the forest park zoo tending to animals and socializing with them.
