“Caitlin cared for our dogs in her home and was great. She and her mom took great care of our 2 Shih Tzu-Bichons for about 2 weeks in June while we traveled to Alaska. She sent pictures of the dogs to assure me they had adjusted well to their home away from home. Caitlin also communicated about feeding the dogs when the dogs got picky about their food (we provided our own food, but our dogs are very finicky). I let her know that was totally normal for our dogs. Caitlin provided crates for the dogs, so we didn’t have to lug ours over to her place. Caitlin was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times. We will definitely use her again!”

This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. I’m home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout and spot for their bed. The ilving room has multiple sunny spots for napping throughout the day. We will take several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). “Total rock star sitter - could not recommend Kari any more highly! This was only Sadie‘s second time boarding in someone else’s home without me…I learned from my first experience that Sadie does not do great with other pets in the house… and, even though Kari’s was pet free, I was still trepidatious about trying another boarding situation in a strange (to my pup) home. My fears were immediately alleviated upon meeting and seeing Kari interact with Sadie and how she let Sadie explore around her wonderful home. Physical relief was all I felt when I left Sadie with her. Kari kept me informed each day with reports and pictures of what she and Sadie were doing, and I was never worried that Sadie was anxious or anything but completely comfortable. Seriously will make sure that Kari is available anytime I plan anything where I need to leave Sadie with someone for any reason! I think my girl had a great time and definitely was very well cared for. Cannot thank Kari and her family enough! ❤️❤️❤️”
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. I’m home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout and spot for their bed. The ilving room has multiple sunny spots for napping throughout the day. We will take several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
