“You guys, Michele is the one!! I couldn't have imagined a better person to care for my baby! She's so loving and so fun and a true kind soul. It's obvious that she truly loves these pups. My little guy had a great vacation with her! She took him out every day to super fun places and he had the time of his life! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and felt comfortable, even hand-feeding him his food when he didn't really want to eat. We're so thankful for her and can't wait to use her again!”

“Karen was wonderful! We dropped our dog off for two nights while visiting family over the weekend. She was very kind and communicative throughout our dog's stay. It was our first time our dog had stayed with her, so the photos and updates were very helpful and appreciated! She gave our dog 1:1 time on walks and sent pictures of our dog relaxing in her home. We were later to pick-up than expected, and she was flexible and understanding! Thank you, Karen for your help with Blue!”

“Julie did an excellent job with Brady. I felt very comfortable with Julie's care of Brady. Julie's house and fenced in yard was very nice and very well kept. “Would give 10 stars if I could! We needed a place for Ruby to stay for a full month. Chelsea was amazing during the entire process, she was super helpful in setting up Ruby’s stay. She was so flexible in scheduling time for us to visit Ruby during the month and great at communicating with us. Ruby LOVED staying at Chelsea’s and was actually really sad for a few days when we got home. Would absolutely book with Chelsea again, thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our girl! ??”

“Where do I start. this is the 1st time we have used a pet sitter for our dog Delilah. Madaket was our chosen one. Right from the start she was accomandating and helpful. We had to change our drop off plans my son had to drop her off.She stayed intouch with us through our trip, sending pictures and assuring us that Delilah was cared for and happy. Which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Unfortunatly I ended up getting very sick the day before we came home and was admitted to the hospital. We ask if we could extend Delilahs stay. Madaket did not hesitate to accommodate us. She was able to modify our booking for us immediatly. Delilah came back to us happy and exhausted, the way we like it. I cannot say enough Thanks to her in our emergency. She will be my go to sitter from now on.”

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“Alyne was fantastic. We live on the island so accommodating our travel can be tricky but she was great with our schedule. She met us at the ferry to pick up our dog. While we were gone she texted us pictures of our dog playing in the yard with other dogs. We knew our dog was having a ball. Then our return travel got all messed up and she was super flexible with keeping our dog for an extra night. Would definitely recommend Alyne!”

“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”

“Chris did a great job watching our cat for a week. He followed all instructions and was super communicative. We especially appreciated that he accommodated us on short notice when our other plans fell through. Thank you so much Chris! We recommend him to everyone.”

“Laurie clearly has a love for animals. She made contact every day with pictures. She let us know about an issue with heating. The cat boxes and floor areas were clean when we returned. Food and water were left according to instructions. We would happily hire Laurie again to care for our two cats.”

About: We’ve had cats in my family since I was a baby. I currently have a 14 year old cat, Anya, who has IBD and gets various medications throughout the day, so I am comfortable with shots and oral medication. I have also been cat sitting for neighbors for several years. I love building relationships with the cats, earning their trust, and sending glamor shots to their people!

“Skyla did great with our three cats. Typically our cat Hades can be shy around new people. However, he walked up to Skyla right away. She made our cats feel very comfortable and safe. She also sent pictures so we could see how they were doing.”

About: I've taken care of and owned cats for many years. Both indoor and outdoor and know how sweet and cute or aloof and finicky they can be. My current (indoor/outdoor) cat Boris has challenged me the most with his endless curiosity, boundless energy, voracious hunting nature and when it's time to cuddle and time to back off. I love the challenges and playfulness of these creatures.
About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. I have experience in giving medications, dealing with dogs with different temperaments, and dog training. I am currently in school during the mornings, but am free all afternoons to play with your pups! I am available for overnights and fully available on weekends! I currently have one dog. I do have a large fenced in yard which provides a great space for animals to run around and play in. I live in a super clean household that does not have any hazards towards animals. My dog is part of the family and is allowed on all furniture as well as beds.
About: I've always had a furry friend and love all dogs. I've helped train working service dogs and worked in a puppy nursery caring for dog moms and their litters. I'm currently working part-time and have free time. I'm home all summer long and looking for ways to enjoy my day and do something I love to do. I have my own dog at home that is super friendly and live in a quiet neighborhood which is great for walks and meeting other people and their dogs.

About: I have been around cats my whole life and have always gravitated toward them. I love how unique they are, even the ones who prefer their space and do not want to be pet. I am patient and attentive, and I take the time to understand each cat’s comfort level. Whether they want playtime or quiet company, I create a calm, safe environment so they feel at ease while you are away.

“Caitlin was very responsive to any of our concerns leaving a 6 month old puppy and her big sister! Lots of pictures, updates and incredibly flexible. Thank you Caitlin”

“My dog, Kiwi, had a fabulous visit with Andrea and Bob! They were extremely communicative and accommodating before our visit. They took care to learn Kiwi’s quirks, likes, and dislikes (she has a big personality, so there are a lot!). They even had toys and balls at their house for her to play with. It’s clear that they are experienced and intuitive dog caretakers, which is so important to me as a nervous dog mom. When I went to pick her up, Kiwi was all smiles and happy body language…I know she had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Andrea and Bob.”

About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. “We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

“So thankful for Helena and her cat! My lil guy Guinness had a wonderful day playing and walking and fetching. Happy to be dropped off, happy after I picked him up. Thank you Helena!! Will hit you up next time I’m on the cape with Guinness for sure.”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.

“We hired Laurie to bale us out when we were in a situation, one with a broken leg the other with the darn upper respiratory virus. She was great. Very take charge, warm and friendly and our dog loved her. She gave good feedback about her walks and even helped catch our little sneak when she escaped our yard before her walk. I highlyrecommend Laurie!”

About: A lifelong lover of animals of all kinds, I recently moved to the Cape with my 14 year old cat, Anya. I’ve had cats on and off my whole life, and for eleven wonderful years shared my life with a rabbit named Fiona. I have experience caring for special needs (Anya has IBD and Fiona was blind in her later years) and administering medications. I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and am also a volunteer at a wildlife rescue where I help care for raptors, turtles, snakes, and an absolute queen of a porcupine. While I love dogs, I have less experience with them, so would be better fitted to smaller and/or calmer canines while I get some more experience under my belt. As an overprotective cat mom, I can assure you that I will care for your fur children as if they were my own, will follow your instructions to the letter, and will stay in communication with you so that you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your little ones. I’ve recently moved to the Cape and currently have lots of availability. I can currently not offer overnights, as I have my own fur child to care for, but would love to come for extended visits or walks! I will follow your instructions meticulously. I am used to caring for injured birds, so am extremely conscientious about making sure animals stay safe in their homes and on the leash.

“While visiting Orleans on vacation, Marie walked my dog two afternoons. She took the time to meet with me and my dog a day before the walks. She took my dog for nice long walks and made sure she had food and water after the walks.”

About: I have experience walking all sorts of dogs from an elderly Bichon Frise to an energetic, young Chow mix. Pet parents trust me to give their dogs exercise and loving attention. I have experience giving medication to dogs and navigating challenging behaviors by maintaining the dog’s structure. I am active and adventurous. Your companion love hikes? Me too! Do they love running and playing? I’m game! They want love and reassurance- we all do sometimes! I’m currently between jobs so I have the flexibility to build the life I want! Which includes lots of dog walks. I love to get out there during the day so if you need morning or daytime walks..I’m your girl. I respect client’s homes and always leave it better than I found it. I make sure the maintain the same structure as usual in terms of meal and potty habits and house rules.

“Caitlin was amazing with our young puppy of 4 months, Pepper. It’s the first time we left her and we felt 100% comfortable. She updated regularly with photos and kept our pup safe and happy. Thanks Caitlin!!!!”

“Kellie could not be kinder. She was fantastic with taking our new puppy to us as well as our 6 year old. Kellie sent pictures and kept me informed about the dogs. Kellie's home is beautiful clean and the fenced backyard is a fantastic bonus for the little one to run around. Truly such ease of mind to have them there with her and her husband.”

“Harriet is exceptional. She treated Sadie so well that Sadie had as good a vacation on the farm as we did in Wellfleet. She gave a Med, recommended a better collar and took Sadie around the farm everyday. Sadie loved playing with her two new friends, Harriets dogs. She treated our so”

“I felt completely safe and secure leaving my Australian terrier with Kari for a couple of nights. She sent lots of updates and pictures, which was great since it was his first time at her house.

“Christian was absolutely fantastic taking care of Aspen! We were away in France and had no worries about our pet because we were constantly updated with messages, photos, and check ins about Aspen's status. This is very reassuring as an owner. I have bookmarked Christian's name on Rover for our next vacation!”
