Sydney came over before we went away and I watched her administer the medication and saw that she was a pro, which put my mind at ease. (She told me that she had a cat who had needed oral meds in the past.) She provided reports throughout the weekend as to how each administration of medication went. About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has become both a personal passion and a professional calling. I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in many different environments—from family pets and animal shelters to farms, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, and professional research settings. I have extensive experience caring for dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, and other farm animals, including my work with Heifer Project International. I’ve also worked with dogs in animal shelters and have shared my life with dogs as pets for most of my life. My work as a wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation worker gave me the opportunity to care for animals that were often injured, frightened, stressed, or otherwise vulnerable. One of the most rewarding experiences of my career was working with the New England Aquarium’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Department, where I helped care for several species of sea turtles. Providing rehabilitative care and administering medications taught me how important consistency, careful observation, and attention to detail are when an animal is recovering or has special needs. My professional animal-care background also includes working as an animal care technician and research technician, where I cared for dogs, pigs, rats, and mice. These positions required me to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, administer treatments, monitor animals closely, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or condition. I’m very comfortable following specific instructions and established routines, including detailed feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and other individualized care plans. At the same time, I believe great pet care is about much more than simply following a checklist. Every animal has their own personality, comfort level, routines, and way of communicating. I take the time to get to know each pet and treat them with the patience, kindness, and respect they deserve. My experience working with children and elderly individuals in care settings has also strengthened my ability to be patient, attentive, dependable, and compassionate—qualities that I bring to every animal in my care. Whether your pet is outgoing and adventurous, shy and nervous, elderly and needing extra patience, or simply happiest sticking to their familiar routine, I’m comfortable adapting my care to what makes them feel safe and comfortable. It includes a room with an attached office area, comfortable bedding, and plenty of space to accommodate several dogs. The setup can also be adapted to separate dogs when needed, whether for feeding, rest, individual care, or simply giving everyone their own space. When appropriate, dogs will also have access to much of my downstairs living area, including the kitchen and living room, so they can feel like they're part of the household rather than simply being boarded. I have a private, unfenced yard as well, providing another convenient option for outdoor time and bathroom breaks. I like to start the day early. A typical morning begins around 5:00 AM with a quick walk and bathroom break, followed by breakfast. About 20–30 minutes after eating, we'll head out for a longer 15–30 minute walk, giving everyone some time to stretch their legs and get their day started. While I'm at work during the weekdays, pets will have their own comfortable, dedicated spaces where they can relax safely. The rooms will be furnished with comfortable bedding and gentle background radio noise to create a calm, familiar environment. Because I work close to home, I’m also able to come home during my lunch break for additional attention, bathroom breaks, and walks. Once I'm home for the day, the focus shifts back to exercise, enrichment, companionship, and plenty of attention. Depending on the dog's personality and energy level, that could mean another walk, some playtime, exploring outdoors, or simply relaxing together. Most importantly, I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to pet care. I’ll learn your pet's routine and follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (oral/injection), exercise requirements, behavioral considerations, and any other special needs. My professional experience caring for animals in shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, research, and veterinary-related environments has taught me to pay close attention to behavior and recognize when something isn't quite right. My goal is for your pet to have a stay that feels safe, comfortable, structured, and enjoyable—and for you to have confidence knowing they are being cared for by someone who takes their well-being seriously.

About: I have lot's of experience in pet care. I walked dogs, pet and house sat for many years in my 20s and after moving to Lancaster a few years ago began pet-sitting again here. My wife and I work from home, which allows us to spend all day with our beloved Havenese Geordi. We all enjoy having other dogs come to play and stay! My wife and I both work from home. My office has a back door out to our fenced in yard so I am able to let the dogs out pretty much anytime they like. I can't even count how many times a day my dog goes out back. I also like to take the dogs on a stroll around the block before and after work. As mentioned I have a fenced in yard and a Havanese who loves to have dog guests to play with and stay over. We give all the dogs lots attention and always make sure their needs are met.

I do currently have a dog of my own, Bob, a Brussels Griffon. My partner, Dylan, and I work at home 4/5 days. We stagger our days so that someone is always home with the dogs and are never left at home alone. We are happy to accommodate any dogs that need extra TLC during the work week from 8/8:30AM to 5:30PM. We are unable to do pick ups later than 5:30PM at this time. Your dog will be able to join us on our morning and midday walk! We only take one dog at a time to provide the highest quality care. I have an unfenced yard, but will always take your dog out leashed. Your dog will be a part of our family during the stay and is allowed on all furniture.

About: I used to have a German Shepard when I was younger and now have a Wheaton terrier! I also have two cats and have helped pet sit my cousins and family friends pets while they were away for years! I love my pets and I can't wait to love and care for your pets in my home or yours! I am away at college right now but when I ma home for breaks, I take care of my family dog and two cats, help my sisters by watching their dog or cat and help family friends by stopping by their house to check on and play with pets! It is something that I love to do and have always made time for. My family has also had people watch pets within in our which is always more convenient for both you and your pets! I have a large yard, and a fenced in pool area with plants and grass and shade. We have a "mud room" with a gate that can easily stay open or closed. This can be accessed though the house and is connected to a room where my family and I spend a lot of time. It also has a door leading outside, and a door leading the the garage. From the garage we have a another small fenced in area with a dog door!
About: Hi! I am a dog mom of two dogs and have loved and cared for many dogs over the years. I am Pet First Aid and CPR Certified and have a clean driving record. I have a background check through the state of MA as I work for MassDEP, and a background check here on Rover. On occasion, I also volunteer at a cat and dog shelter in Sudbury, MA. I am experienced and comfortable with dogs that are new to me, or who might be more timid or shy. Available for dog walking currently! I work from home most days a week so I am very flexible to come by and take care of your pup(s) since I am local to Clinton, MA. I walk my own dogs 1-2 times a day but I would ensure your dog(s) are walked separately, and well taken care of! Because of my background, I have plenty of experience walking dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I am familiar with the Clinton area so I am happy to take your dog to a park nearby, a walk around your neighborhood, or let them out in your home to play in the yard. Your dogs safety is always my priority and I will ensure that you have nothing to worry about! I do carry cintronella spray with me in the event an unpredictable / aggressive dog or animal is encountered on our walk. Photos of your pet(s) can be sent over to you during our walk too!
About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.
About: I’ve owned pets since my daughter was young and brought her first kitten home. I’ve been helping her to walk dogs for a couple years now. I’m retired so my schedule is fairly open. It gets me walking and outside, two things I enjoy. It helps my health and makes me feel good. Happy to walk your dog! Cannot have pets stay at my house as I have a kitty cat of my own. His name is Toby and he’s a real pain in the butt! 😂
About: I have worked in vet med for going into 3 years I have lots of expertise with anxious and aggressive dogs aswell as being able to administer medications. I have also worked at dog daycares and understand the fundamentals of dog behaviors. Since I am a vet med personnel I really enjoy being around pets where I can spend time with them outside of the vet office and more one on one happy visits. I care for my pets very accurately. I make sure every step is done for them and there is no missed points. I’m happy to do long walks with your pet and any tasks for them to improve their quality of care.
