About: I have had a dog in my home since I was 11 years old. I have had small dogs and large dogs alike, mostly full of energy. I have dog sat in the past in home but prefer to do it at my own as I have my own dog. We love to go on forest hikes with our black lab, Pickle, and keep her tired and happy. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. I have worked with a variety of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to ducks, to chinchillas, to horses! I’ve always felt like I have a strong connection with animals, and see my own animals as children. I am also happy to accommodate same day bookings whenever possible! I firmly believe that a consistent routine for an animal is key to keeping them comfortable, especially if you are to leave. I would follow the owners daily routine to help keep your animals calmer. If they are crate trained I can put them in their crate, watch them in the yard, take them on walks, play with them, and cuddle at the end of the day. I strongly believe in the saying “leave it better than you found it”, which I intend to do in your home!

About: Hi, I’m Ally! I have an adorable dog-nephew who I have love and cared for like my own for a few years now. We love going on long walks, trips to the dog park, and relaxing around the house together. Aside from growing up with him, I have experience dog-sitting when my brother goes out of town. About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
