About: I am good at working with all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs. I have a large fully fenced back yard and live on a quiet street. For longer stays of 1-2 weeks I offer pick up within a 30-45 minute drive from Dalton (this includes Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lenox). I love dogs and grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes as well as owning my own sweet cavalier Max until he passed. I've dog sat quite a bit - from sweet older dogs to nervous little dogs to velcro Portuguese water dogs. :-) Whatever your dogs routine, I will follow your instructions to the letter to ensure as little disruption to your dogs routine as possible so they feel safe and happy until your return. I know how hard it can be on owners to leave a beloved member of the family behind and how hard it is on a dog to miss their owner. I have dog beds, treats and toys (if allowed). I usually walk dogs according to the schedule they are used to. In between, they can hang with me. IFeeding times will also coincide with your instructions. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.

I’m flexible and reliable and can do drops ins, walks, day stays, over nights, or multiple day stays. I’m open to any animal type, including pocket pets, exotics and special needs. What can I say? Pets are really the only thing most of us like in this crazy world; so it’s kind of the perfect job. 😉 I am open to all types of care, all types of animals, and all types of situations. I have experience in vet medicine and have had elderly and special needs animals my whole life. No matter how long my interaction with your baby is, I assure you it will be filled with love.

About: I love a challenge and a new four legged friend! Puppy biting, pulling on walks, endless energy? Let me know and we can come up with a good plan to meet your pups needs. I’m happy to hike with dogs, water activities, or other outdoor outings if it is what your pup needs to be their best at home. I also have a large fenced in yard to play fetch as opposed to a walk if that helps your dog get their energy out better! (6ft tall wood privacy) I learn quickly and care about how you want your pet care of above all else. I’ve owned, cared for, and fostered many animals across numerous ages and breeds. I have availability on weekends and after 4pm most weekdays. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute requests as my job allows for a good amount of flexibility I can adjust for a specific situation. I reinforce good behaviors or redirect bad behaviors with positive methods. I will not place any animal in an overly stressful environment and will meet them where they are at.
