Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. I am not afraid of dogs and can comfortably handle all energy types! I have been regularly dog sitting and walking for the past 5 years so I am very comfortable in most situations. About: I have been working with animals for many years. I have done lots of overnight pet sitting, walking, and dealing with medical needs. I have always had a passion for animals of all sizes. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). About: I have house sat for friends with dogs, including overnight stays. I am experienced with senior dogs; primarily walking, visiting and handling adult dogs. I am comfortable with younger dogs as well. I thoroughly enjoy interacting with dogs and miss my time with our yellow lab that was part of the family for 13 years. I am currently retired from corporate America after a 40 - year career in commercial banking. I love being outside and "moving". As an aside I have done the Pan Mass Challenge for 15 years. About: My partner and I are absolutely obsessed with dogs! We both grew up with dogs and have each raised and trained our dogs Toffee and Tony since they were puppies. About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.

He was also considerate in making her feel comfortable in her new environment. I appreciated that Ryan offered to give a a wash and nail trimming at a very affordable rate. “My wife and I recently moved out of state from the Cape. We could not leave without writing one last review of Karen. We have left our dog Annie with Karen many times, sometimes for just a night or two and sometimes for over a week when taking longer vacations. We cannot begin to say how much we and Annie will miss Karen and Juni. Karen is the kindest person you could ever meet. She loves dogs and immediately took Annie in as though her own. She is a dog whisperer. Annie loves her. She is truly a remarkable dog sitter and human being. We could always relax when we left Annie with her as we were totally confident in her ability to handle any situation that might arise as well as know she always was providing exceptional care and a happy and loving experience for our pup. As for Juni, Annie loved playing with her, sleeping next to her and just being with her whenever she would visit. Juni is the sweetest, most friendly and happy lab. Annie will miss her terribly. Annie would begin barking with excitement the moment we got off route 6 for Hyannis. This always made our hearts sing. Karen and Juni are simply exceptional. My wife, Annie, and I will forever miss them.”
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. I’m home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout and spot for their bed. The ilving room has multiple sunny spots for napping throughout the day. We will take several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
