“I was so glad to have found Mary Ann on Rover to watch our dog Piper for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. On our initial visit with Mary Ann, I knew this was a great fit for Piper. She is such a sweet, caring, knowledgeable woman that I knew would take wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time using Rover as I was not comfortable leaving her in a kennel again for this long as my dog gets very anxious and sad when we are away and my usual in house dog sitter was with us on vacation. Mary Ann lives just 10 minutes from my house with a lovely fenced in side yard for her to go to the bathroom outside and just run around not being on a leash, which is just like home. Also being able to jump on the furniture and the beds was a plus too, again just like home. And she did not have any issues getting too anxious which is what I was hoping for. About: Growing up with my wonderful childhood dog led me to have a deep love for four legged friends! At 14, I began working as a dog grooming assistant... I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. About: Not only did I grow up around dogs (one of my own and many neighbors’ dogs who I helped sit for), but I am also currently a proud dog mom to five medium-to-large dogs who are my entire life, some of whom I’ve raised from 8 weeks all the way through senior-hood. About: My name is Jessica and I am a caring and fun person who has been caring for dogs since I was seven years old! Now I am 24 years old and do not have a dog anymore but still enjoy spending time with my friends pets and I dog sit for my neighbors. I am very active so I enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes. I live walking distance from a lake. If the dog I am taking care of feels comfortable in water then I will splash around with the dog in the lake (there are dirt roads in this area to walk the dog on too). My longest sit was three months as a ranch sitter in Colorado, I cared for two horses, two donkeys, chickens, three sheep, two lambs, a cat and dog. My wife and I both work remotely about 90% of the week, which gives us plenty of time and flexibility to care for our own six dogs — and any visiting pets, too. Our days naturally revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, and snuggles, so incorporating other pets into that rhythm fits right in. In our home, pets are treated like family. We have a spacious, safe property with fenced areas for play and exercise, and we keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and downtime. Since my wife and I both work from home most of the week, someone is almost always here to give attention and care. For client homes, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible - from meals and walks to playtime and cuddles - to keep them comfortable and stress-free in their own environment.
About: To obtain a position as an Animal Care Professional, leveraging my Veterinary Assistant Certificate, where I can express my natural love for animals, look after their well-being and help their owners understand their pets and provide the best care possible. About: I grew up with always having dogs around and have had a lifelong passion and love for all animals. I’ve been dog sitting for over 10 years now and can provide the best love and care for your animals. I have helped out at a dog training center. I enjoy hiking several times a week and would love to have an animal to accompany me.
