“Kari was absolutely amazing with my dog! Maisy received lots of love and attention with long walks, fun games, snuggle time, and belly rubs - all of it right by Kari’s side ❤️ I received lots of photos and updates along the way, this was a match made in heaven, we would love to come back next summer!”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“Kaedy, my Jack Russell terrier stayed with Mike for a couple days and had a great time. He kept me updated with pictures and texts. Got back to me quickly with answers to my questions. Will definitely board her there again.”

“Samantha took amazing care of my little cat and guinea pig . She was on time , commutative and showed that she really has a big heart that cares about people and their animals. I will definitely be reaching out to her again for her amazing service.”

“Justine was a phenomenal sitter! We had a bit of a last minute need for a sitter and couldn’t be more happy with our experience. Justine was attentive, helpful, and incredibly friendly. We had so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog Violet got along so well with her Piper, and they definitely became fast friends. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Deb was great! She is such a godsend! We didn't think we could board our anxious, diabetic dog but Deb handled him like a pro. It's such a relief knowing we can go away now.”

“Jacqueline was wonderful with both of our dogs! She treated them like family, sent pics and videos and provided great care. Not having to worry about our fur babies made our trip even better. Her home is super dog friendly including a safe and spacious fenced in yard. I recommend Jacqueline and plan on using her dog hospitality and for my dogs again in the future. Superb!”

“Millie had a terrific weekend. A shy dog, Maria took the time to integrate her into her family activities. She came back happy, bathed and exhausted from her weekend. Maria was also very accommodating with our schedule- we dropped off early and picked up earlier than planned. She was gracious and helpful. Maria also sent great pictures of Millie from her weekend - which were passed around the table at the graduation dinner.”

“Sunny is our go-to for the past 3-4 years whenever we need to board Lucky. Every time Lucky went straight into their house without even looking back at us. He is definitely spoiled when staying with them. We really would wish to continually have Sunny to watch for Lucky, but sadly we are relocating to the west coast. Lucky will miss them so much!”

“We could not have left our dogs Ben and Belle in better hands. This was their first time staying with someone else and we were anxious about how it would go. Mellisa And Kellie were so kind and accommodating. They kept us updated and it looked like our dogs had a great time with them! I’m not entirely sure they wanted to come home! Five star rating for sure.”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal on nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!
“Shatane and her family were absolutely amazing with my two dogs. They sent great updates of how they were doing and amazing pictures and videos. Have both my dogs plenty of exercise outside in the backyard and treated them as if they were their own. It made a week of travel less stressful to know my two were taken care of so well. Highly recommend.”

“Alysia’s service is top notch! Her family was so caring and treated my pup like family. Our pup came home content and he had so much fun. Great communication and updates. Thank you!!!”

“Justine was very great with doggies. She had great communication and was very punctual. She gave the dogs great attention and took very good care of them. I would recommend her to anyone for services with their loved ones.”

“We are so lucky to have found Jenna. She was so kind and thoughtful, and took amazing care of our Casper over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was reliable in giving him his twice daily medication and provided detailed updates of how he was doing. Jenna really took the time to get to know our kitty and spend time with him so that he became comfortable with her. Usually when we have sitters there’s some negotiation or trouble with taking medication at points, and the fact that this never happened is true testament to how Jenna has a real way with furry companions. She even brought him some toys! We are grateful to have found her and we look forward to booking her again on our next trip!”

“Sarah was punctual and took wonderful care of Penny and Pepper (aka pippa). She put my mind at ease with regular updates and snapshots which I loved! I definitely recommend her and plan to book with her again.”

“We have a very difficult older cat who needs daily medication. We had already been through two cat sitters who were not able to administer her meds, after the first time, so we were concerned fo try again. Jared had great instincts with how to deal with the situation. He took the time to let the cat get to know him first. He was reliable and had good communication. We would definitely use him again.”

“Abigail did a terrific job caring for my two cats while I was away for several days. She’s responsible and thoughtful. I came home to two happy and relaxed cats. It’s like they didn’t even miss me, they were so comfortable with Abigail.”

About: Dear Pet owners, My name is Dave and have been watching pets now for about 10 years on and off. Mostly local and for friends and family. Now that I've discovered Rover I'd like to branch out a bit and meet new four-legged friends and their owners too. I enjoy taking dogs for walks around their neighborhoods, local conservation sites and to the beaches in the off-season. I've taken care of both cats and dogs and houses and plants too, at all times of the year. I know the area fairly well and I enjoy the elements no matter what they bring here in New England. I'm good at following specific diet rules as many of our pets are picky and some may get sickly otherwise. I enjoy playing with pups and lounging with the older dogs too. I'm fairly flexible when it comes to where I'm staying if it's overnight and not shy when it comes to cleaning up after a pets mess here and there. Overall I like dogs and cats, we seem to get along well and we often have a good time and they are always well taken care of while they're owners are away.

“Alison was great checking in on my cat while I was away for a few days. She was excellent in her communication and giving me updates on how he was doing, and I felt like he was in great hands. I will definitely be using her again next time he needs watching.”

She was very prompt and attentive to Bella’s needs for relief and exercise while I was at work all day. We’ve moved to Florida for the winter but look forward to seeking the ease and security of Rover.com in the future.”

“we were looking for a home close by to our house where Quinnie could have some time to interact with other dogs in a safe and living environment. Jackie‘s home was perfect for what we were looking for. A large securely fenced yard plus a dog door. Quinnie seemed very comfortable with Jackie, her husband and their three adorable dogs. She spent six hours there and came home tuckered out, but she seemed very happy with the day. Jackie was very attentive and kept us informed. We would very highly recommend her!”

About: I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so spending time with animals has always been a natural part of my life. Growing up with pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities taught me that every animal has unique needs, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust goes into leaving a furry family member with someone else. That's why I take the time to stick to their routine, pay attention to the little details, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease while you're away. My goal is for you to return to a happy companion and feel confident knowing they were in caring, dependable hands. I have a large fenced in yard and a goofy doggo to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog and/or mine if needed.
“Justine is fantastic! Justine took care of my dog while I was at a conference, and she was extremely responsive and was constantly sending pictures of Teddy having fun. I can't say enough good things and highly recommend Justine.”

“Jessica was great! There was a lot of uncertainty about what time I would be able to get my pups and she was very flexible with my schedule. When I picked the dogs up at the end of their stay they came home and immediately fell asleep. Would absolutely recommend having Jessica watch your puppers!”

About: Hi there! My husband and I are the ultimate dog people. We both grew up with dogs and have been caring for them on and off Rover for years! We took a break from this app as we had a couple of regular pup clients but we are back and eager to meet yours!!! We have been caring for dogs for over 25 years. We are very active and we love hikes in the state forest or long walks on the trails of Pinehills, Hedges Park, Plymouth Long Beach, and the canal. We live 2 houses down from Bloody Pond if your pup enjoys swimming!! We have a mellow 3 year old boxer named Polly. She is such a little love, more mellow than your typical 3 year old boxer, is great with all dogs, and can often be found sun bathing on our back patio. Although not completely fenced in, we have a tie out run and live on a dead end street. We both have very flexible schedules which makes for great availability. We will always do our best to accommodate requests! Drop ins and dog boarding are mostly what we do but don’t hesitate to reach out re: dog walking and house sitting. Please note, meet and greets are required for all dog boarding and house sitting requests. Our yard is 3/4s fenced in and we live on a dead end. Dogs are NEVER off leash without owner permission and our full trust in the pup.
“Emily was amazing- Hazel had the best time and they were clearly fast friends! She was responsive and asked all the right questions. She clearly loves dogs! She took hazel for multiple walks and texted me updates throughout the day. Highly recommend!!! She is the best!”

“I enjoyed meeting Peter. He took care of my pup, Chip, and provided him with a home and a play pal for the day. Chip was happy and I was able to relax and enjoy my event. Peter provided me with peace of mind knowing that my Chip was in good hands. That’s all a dog parent can ask for. Thank you kindly, Peter. Hope to see you and Scooby again soon! Hugs, Chip and Eris”

“Rachel was very responsive, sent feedback and pictures and was flexible about pickup and drop off times. She lives in a quiet neighborhood great for walks and got my dog out for 2 of them! My shy dog seemed to settle in and get comfortable with her and Andrew. Overall I was very happy with her care and I plan to use her again”

“My 15 year old Doxie had a great time at Laurel’s house! I loved getting pictures of Raven with Laurel’s adorable beagle, Jake. They are two senior doggies who got along great!! Laurel’s communication is fantastic. She always replies very quickly! Laurel is so friendly and nice! I could tell Raven was comfortable with her immediately. I highly recommend Laurel!”

About: I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. My experience with a variety of breeds and sizes makes me stand out, as well as my ability to handle high energy dogs who may appear confrontational at first. If you choose me to watch your fur babies, there is no doubt that they will be in good hands with someone who is dedicated to ensuring they are comfortable, happy and well taken care off. I have a very flexible schedule, I am in between jobs at the moment, so as long as I have enough notice, I am willing to make anything work! At my house I have to flexibility to take the dogs out as needed, I have a dog currently who is friendly with others. In my clients’ homes, I respect the client’s instructions and can perform any task they need! I respect the home and privacy as I have also had Rover sitters in my home and would want someone trustworthy.
“I felt that Daniella was kind and responsive to my questions before she took my puppy, Ellie. She sent me multiple photos throughout the day and gave me updates to go along with them.”

“Gabrielle is kind, reliable, communicative and clearly has a natural way with dogs. My dog felt comfortable with her right away, which says something because he can be wary of new people. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. Gabrielle went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker. At the end, my dog wanted to stay with her…the ultimate endorsement!”

“Jared is so good with our black lab Grady. We can always count on him to be attentive to Grady’s needs and he shows such genuine care for Grady. Truly gives us such a peace of mind when we know Jared is caring for our Grady. Highly recommend Jared!”

“The greatest! It was snowy and Linda wasn't sure the ice melt was dog-safe so she wiped Moe's paws after their walks! I probably wouldn't have done that myself. Definitely book Linda when she's available!”

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats and reptiles my whole life. I am a reliable, English teacher who loves long walks after school with my dog! In the summer, I have a lot of time available. Teaching has always been my passion and it definitely helps me become a patient caretaker to my dog and the lovable pets I watch! I currently have summers off due to my teaching schedule. During the school year I am available anytime after 4pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I can easily crate your pet if needed- we also have a fenced in yard that easily holds both of our medium sized dogs. 🐾
About: I have only watched dogs a couple of times. I had a dog growing up, but mainly cats. I am definitely more of a cat lover, but I’m trying to give dogs a chance! I have a retail job that has a sporadic schedule. I am just looking for a side gig for every now and then. To get exercise and be outside in the summer is a bonus :) I have a fenced yard and a furry friend to have fun with! I have a big open space and lots of comfy places to sleep. I have a dog and cat friendly home!
“Jenna was great and super responsive. She took wonderful care of my puppy. She took him for a walk and played with him in the backyard. I reccommnd Jenna to anyone looking for someone to take care of their little bundle!”

Superb!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch.

Have completed online Instructional courses on E-collar training and behavior modification. Have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues/quirks Have cared for pets of family and friends in addition to my own for over 15 years . My family and I currently have two dogs and a lizard, so pet care is part of our daily routine, 24/7 365. My own dogs are walked daily and stimulated through play and training. When we are home as a family, the dogs are out with us enjoying life. When we are out of the house, they are either crated or secured in a room with fresh water. Safety/Security and respecting the animals are my core values. While the animals in my home are cared for like family, they are taught to respect boundaries and work for affection. In my care, pets are leashed unless they are in a secure, fenced area. I take the time to understand each animal is an individual who has unique needs. I cater my approach to each animal based on their specific demeanor.

I highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking for someone who genuinely understands and loves senior dogs.”
