About: I’ve had pets since childhood and know how to take care of them well, from dogs to guinea pigs I have had to care for multiple different types of animals and will always care for them as my own. I have pet sat both during the day and overnight for friends, family, and people outside of my everyday life, each time caring for the animal with the utmost care. I am currently working part time. About: Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. As a lifelong dog lover and work-from-home professional, I’ve created a cozy, peaceful space where pups can feel right at home while their humans are away. I only host one dog at a time (unlike many petsitters), so your pup will be treated like family and get my full attention (and all the belly rubs they deserve). I specialize in anxious pups who do not like being with other dogs and do not like being alone - I keep my pup clients as close as they like and give them as much attention as they prefer. My husband and I have two children, 8 and 10 years old, who are very gentle and loving with dogs. We treat our guest pups like they were are own while they’re with us! All our doggy guests are welcome to make themselves at home—on the couch, in the sunny spots, wherever they’re happiest, I do not confine them to one room/zone of the house - no pet gates here! I have a large, unfenced backyard with a dog run for zoomies and potty breaks and we love getting out for walks too. I also have experience with senior dogs and administering medications, so if your pup needs a little extra TLC, they’re in good hands. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy home-away-from-home where your dog will be loved and spoiled, I’d love to be their sitter! Please note: unfortunately we have an allergy in our home to short-haired shedding dogs and can only accept long-haired (hypoallergenic) dogs :) I'm home all day to spend time with your pup and treat them like they were my own! If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

This was our puppies' first time away from home and our puppy wasn't fully accustomed to new people, new dogs, new surroundings and new routines yet, so both our puppy and we were a bit nervous about leaving him for the day. But Destanie did a fine job of addressing all our anxieties and our puppy was very well cared for. We received periodic pictures of our puppy throughout the day to reassure us that he was happy and having fun, so we could focus on just having our own fun with the birthday events. About: I've taken care of dogs and homes since I was in grade school, and so have 14 years of pet- and house-sitting experience. You can rely on me for numerous daily walks, active play dates, timely medicine provision, prescribed feedings, and even teeth cleaning.
