“I was so glad to have found Mary Ann on Rover to watch our dog Piper for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. On our initial visit with Mary Ann, I knew this was a great fit for Piper. She is such a sweet, caring, knowledgeable woman that I knew would take wonderful care of my dog. This was the first time using Rover as I was not comfortable leaving her in a kennel again for this long as my dog gets very anxious and sad when we are away and my usual in house dog sitter was with us on vacation. Mary Ann lives just 10 minutes from my house with a lovely fenced in side yard for her to go to the bathroom outside and just run around not being on a leash, which is just like home. Also being able to jump on the furniture and the beds was a plus too, again just like home. And she did not have any issues getting too anxious which is what I was hoping for. About: I am a registered nurse so I only work 3 days a week. I grew up with animals, I attended training classes and one point we had 3 dogs living in our home at once. I grew up with a Laborador Retreiever, a mini Shnauzer Poodle mix and a hound mix, so I have had experience caring for each type of dog and any accommodations they may require. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 5. I love them all! I have a horse named Olay that I board not at my house!) And dogs and a cat! I’m a first grade teacher so I have summer off starting 6/5! So will be able to do anytime at that point! For now I can do weekdays after 3pm and anytime weekends! About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. While the yard is not fenced in, it is set far back from busy roads and offers a quiet, safe, and peaceful environment. Safety is extremely important to us, and all outdoor time is closely supervised. Our property is long and spacious with plenty of room for walks, playtime, and exercise while still maintaining privacy and a calm atmosphere for pets to feel comfortable and relaxed.
About: To obtain a position as an Animal Care Professional, leveraging my Veterinary Assistant Certificate, where I can express my natural love for animals, look after their well-being and help their owners understand their pets and provide the best care possible. I am hard working, responsible, and reliable. I'm hoping through rover i can expand my self owned dog walking/ pet service providing clients with exceptional care for all types of breeds. Duties include: Dog walks up to half hour, providing meals and medications as needed, cleaning and sanitizing pet areas, spending quality snuggle time, and keeping owners updated throughout the day. I take pride in my work and enjoy doing it as well! Look forward to creating new friendships with you and your furry companions. I am a full time Petsitter. This is what I love and is my passion! I book up quickly so please the more notice the better! I typically stay at the clients house for the duration of the sit and bring them out daily for hikes.
