They are smaller but very chill, my dog matches the other dog's energy so small dogs sometimes isn't his best match but they seem to have gotten along well. It seems our dog just made himself at home, so that's a good sign. Whitney also is a great communicator, and was really nice and understanding of our pickup time shifting. About: I have taken care of and have had my own pets for over 30 years. I have a fenced in backyard, along with trails in a wooded area on my property that make it a great adventure for all pets. I work part-time taking care of animals and I'm always available to give your animals the attention they deserve. I am available most days and for overnight care. About: We first adopted a 12 year old dog from the shelter and at the age of 17, we had to put him down. It broke our hearts and decided to adopt others in his (Juno) memory. My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs since then and they are a great pack. We have a large yard and doggy door so they can come and go as they please. They go for walks and they're very well mannered, socialized dogs. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in May 2017 and train dogs as well and I'd be able to help with training if needed. We were best friends before I knew what that was. Then at the age of 12 or so, my parents adopted 2 English cocker spaniels, brother and sister. Robbie and Flora. So I was taking care of three pets. Then I raised Bruce, a rescued black lab mix from August 2013 until 2025 with some breaks for the US Army. And I taught him very well; he passed in June 2025 but he will always be my companion at my side. For some time I carried him, 120 lbs, up and down flights of stairs. Sometimes from here to there, carefully, comfortably, gingerly. I’ve taken care of pets for family members and friends. And did so professionally in the past prior to Rover, after friends got me into it. I’m great with animals. After spending even just a short time with them we can often establish a connection or rapport, especially when training a younger pet (or caring for an older dog). I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, I could run with your dog, play with them, but mostly we’ll be doing what they want - within reason. I will basically be spending the entire time with your pets. We’ll wake up between five to eight in the morning, and we’ll go bed between eight and eleven at night. I’ll be up with them as they need and we’ll be in and out much more than is required. Looked after friends senior dog which needed meds with food and their other dog that had special dietary needs including medication 3 times a day. House and dog&cat sat for friends that would go away to France for a long weekends I have plenty of time to give care and attention. I am not working at the moment and in between job maybe this is my calling we have a lot of space in the home and in the yard. We do not have any of our own pets yet, but we are talking a lot about them. We have a large 4ft fenced in grass yard and a large basement to allow for off leash freedom to play regardless of weather. Over the back fence we have active cranberry bogs with loads of open space and smells perfect for long walks. I am a fast walker and happy to cover 3-5 miles on a walk. Any fur-babies that need to stay overnight will be looked after like they are my own. I’ll send lots of pictures and make sure your pet is comfortable with as much attention as it needs.
About: I've had dogs my entire life and all have lived healthy long lives. I've pet sat for friends and family. I think all pets should have the chance to stay in the comfort of home and be cared for while their owners are away. During my school year (September to June) I am available weekends and during school breaks. During the summer months I'm available daily. I look forward to discussing options with you. About: I have had 2 dogs in my household for the past 10 years, I feel like I am pretty knowledgeable when it comes to caring for animals. Currently home for the summer from college, I have open availability for the time being. I’m open to doing any times that are needed for care. About: I’ve taken care of animals since before I can remember. Experienced in dog sitting, walking, calming down and grooming, with a wide range of dog types, and ages. I have a very bubbly personality, and I enjoy staying active. I’m currently working part-time one to two days a week so I have a very open schedule to take dogs on daily walks or sit when they need be. I’ve cared for pets in many different ways from walking to sitting to giving medication and providing comfort when anxious or scared. My dog in particular does not do well around loud noises so needs to be comforted during those times and cared for carefully.
