I am an elementary teacher and high school girls basketball coach. I am currently on summer break since I am an elementary teacher. About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am available to stay at your house and have the time during the day to check in and go on walks with your dog and let them out multiple times a day. I have my own car and can take your pup for walks all over the South Shore! I have my a 3mo old cattle dog who loves to play & is great with dogs of all sizes. About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! About: We have a large, very clean, and safe home with a big backyard. There are plenty of trails and sidewalks for walking around our house as well as a variety of parks nearby we can visit. Our own 2 small (4 lb) chihuahuas, Mocha & Lacey, are used to having other dogs around. Now that I work from home full-time, I’m able to provide a consistent, structured environment throughout the day. My own dog is very well-trained, friendly, and active—we go on multiple walks daily, spend time outdoors, and stay on a regular routine. I only take one client dog at a time as I want to my dog to have another dog to play with during the day. Your dog will be well taken care of. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I take one dog a day so my dog has another dog to play with during the day. I’m home during the day for supervision, walks, and attention—not just quick check-ins. My dog gets multiple walks daily, and we spend a lot of time outside, whether that’s in the neighborhood or on nearby trails and open fields. We also occasionally meet up with other friendly dogs in the neighborhood for relaxed, supervised social time. I only take one client dog at a time so I can fully integrate them into our routine and provide consistent care. I keep a clean, calm, and structured home where dogs are always supervised and treated like part of the routine. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and my dog is very friendly and well-adjusted. I’m selective about fit and only accept dogs that are well-behaved, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs and my toddler. Because I only take one client dog at a time, everything stays controlled, safe, and low-stress, with plenty of attention and consistency throughout the day.
