About: On my 12th birthday I got a kitten from my parents. I've had a cat most of my life. I enjoyed playing with her, cuddling, cleaning her litter, petting and she purred at me often. I fed her, played, and slept beside her. She lived for 17 years and got very sick and old that we had to put her down in August 2023. Fun fact- I used to take my cat swimming in a lake with my cousin's dog.

“Our pups absolutely love her! Marissa bonded right away and spent a lot of time with them. She was also very flexible when our schedule kept changing! We highly recommend her services!”

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)

There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. We will be using his service again soon for overnight boarding and feel really comfortable with them. Thanks for making us feel like Falco is safe with you!!! Highly recommend!!”

About: Dogs have been my whole heart for as long as I can remember. I loved my own dog for 15 and a half wonderful years, caring for him through every stage of life until we had to say goodbye last summer. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for just how much love and attention dogs deserve at every age. Since then, I've channeled that love into caring for the dogs of friends and family, and I'm now so excited to open my door to more pups who need a warm, attentive caretaker. I'm comfortable with caring for guests from puppies to seniors, and I'm used to managing multiple dogs at once while making sure each one feels seen and loved. Your pup will be in loving hands, and I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos along the way. 🐶 I work from home and would love to have some furry coworkers around. Whoever's with me gets to hang out all day while I'm at my desk, with plenty of breaks for some outdoor time and cuddles in between. My home is relaxed, dog-friendly, and ready for guests! I have a spacious fenced yard for outdoor time and plenty of indoor space to lounge around in. If your pup ever needs a quiet moment to decompress, I have a separate space for that too. I'm comfortable having a few furry guests at once and know how to read the room to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and no one's overwhelmed. Your pup's safety and comfort are always top of mind!

I work from home and your pet will be taken care of and monitored constantly as if it was my own the entire time. Your furry friend is my friend too. Clean & Professional. I have a great career that allows me to work from home. I do rover for fun. When you book with me you are booking someone who gives full attention to your pet. Safety first! I would be scared to leave my dog with someone. All pets deserve a pleasant experience. With me you can feel safe your pet is in good hands, you are welcome to visit my home for boarding!
“Corrine took such AMAZING care of our little havanese. Her dogs are amazing and play well with smaller breeds and the space they have for the dogs to run around is so great. Would highly recommend!”

“Karma had a great day with Jacqueline and her daughter. They sent a picture and update halfway through the day which was nice as this was the first time I had left Karma with people I did not know. I texted on my way to pick her up and they had her ready to gomwhen I got there.”

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be. I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.
“We connected with Bridget for some last-minute day care services. She was very responsive and accommodating. After our initial meet-and-greet, our dog made herself right at home when we dropped her off for her first day at daycare. We felt comfortable and at ease leaving our dog in Bridget's care along with her dogs Mac and Zuzu (who are both very sweet!). She also sent us pictures and updates while we were away, which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend!”

“Meli took such great care of my fur baby! From the moment I was in touch with Meli, I felt safe and excited about the opportunity to have Ollie spend the day with her and her pup Nina. She was warm and assuring, and very quick to respond to messages! When I met Meli in person to drop Ollie off, I was happy to find such a friendly and kind person in real life, too! She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! I would absolutely recommend Meli and would love to have Ollie stay with her again if we need a sitter in Bloomington. Thanks Meli! ?”
“Melissa was amazing! She had our Sadie for three days of day care so we could go off and enjoy day trips with our visiting granddaughters and d.i.l. Sadie loved her and her girls, never looking back at us after that first day of drop off! Melissa sent periodic pics and updates of how our girl was doing, and was very accommodating as to drop off and pick up times. We would not hesitate to rebook with Melissa and highly recommend her for your fur babies.”

About: Since I was 13 years old, I've had 7 dogs in my life: a Golden, a Border Collie, a Bernice Mountain Dog, two mutts, a King Charles Cavalier and a Cockapoo. Each of these dogs lived an average of 14 amazing puppy, mid-life and senior joyful years. I learned as a child and then as an adult, that dogs abound with joy when given a consistent, kind, safe and loving environment. I adore dogs and the energy they bring. They teach us how to live life to the fullest and maybe even teach us how to love. My friends know this about me. They're always asking me to take care of their dogs. They call me the dog whisperer. They trust me. Your dog will be at home in my care. A walk every 2-3 hours, some play, a snack (if allowed), a good snooze and we'll do it all over again. As described below, your pet will be with me much of the day. I work from home on the computer and can take numerous breaks throughout the day to walk and play with your best friend. See below for our daily routine. Your dog and I will take a long walk the morning. If they're a ball chaser, there's a fenced in area at the local park where we'll spend some time running after balls. After the walk/run, we'll hang together as I work for a few hours on the computer. Mid-morning, we'll spend some time in my backyard on a leash making sure they get additional air and a pee. At noon, they'll get another walk around the block, have a mid-day snack (if allowed) and then while they nap, I'll work some more until quitting time when we'll go for another long walk or run. And of course what they care most about, breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served according to their routine. After the evening walk, we'll read or watch some TV while we relax on the couch. Bedtime is around 11 in which a quick backyard pee prior to bed. Depending on their preference, they can sleep on my bed or if they're crate trained and you or they would prefer that, they'll rest in the crate for the evening in my bedroom. And the next day, we'll do it all over again.

I treat every home with respect and every pet like a member of my own family. I provide updates, photos, and clear communication so you can feel confident that your pets and home are in good hands.
About: I’ve always had a place in my heart for animals! I have been volunteering at shelters for over 3 years, as well as recent experience as a vet assistant! I’m not just here to feed and walk, I build trust with your pet! I take the time to approach each animal with patience, and adapt to their comfort and energy level. Whether it’s a high energy puppy or a timid cat, I tune in and make sure their needs are met! I am currently working as a vet assistant so my hours can be a bit limited! From M-Th I work 7:30-6 pm but am available for check ins after work! Trust is everything! To build a trusting relationship I’m communicative, reliable, and happy to provide updates and photos during each visit so you can feel connected and confident while you’re away. Whether it’s a quick drop in or a longer stay, I am always tidy, respectful, and focused on creating a calm, happy environment for your pet!
“Julie is fantastic! Very communicative, easy to work with and came over for a meet & greet before taking Sweet Tea out for the first time. Highly recommend Julie, she was so loving and kind with our foster pup, got her out for a big walk and lots of love. Thank you!”

About: I am a passionate dog lover and dedicated pet caregiver. I'm currently in my third year at Liberty University, and animals, especially dogs, have always held a special place in my heart. I've had my own dog for over 14 years, and caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it's walking, sitting, or just spending quality time, I’ve looked after dogs (and other pets!) for friends, family, and neighbors with love and attention. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. If you're looking for someone reliable, energetic, and genuinely excited to meet your furry friend, I’m your person! I am a college student home for the summer with a lot of free time. I work a part time job and an internship that are very flexible so I would love to help out with your furry friends when needed! I am a very active person so I love to get pets outdoors to let their energy out but I always keep them on the leash unless they are in a enclosed space!
About: I've grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. I have cared for pets while friends/family were away and enjoy doing so. I love spending time with animals. At the moment I am part time and have my daughter. My schedule is very open. Even on my work days I am free the first half of the day. However you want them taken care of is how I will do so. Always with love and kindness. I see my pets as my family.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience in dog obedience and show training. As a lifelong owner of both small and big dogs, I’m committed to providing personalized, safe care! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I already care for my own dogs. Caring for pets has always been second nature to me. Now that I'm home from college for the summer, I have ample free time to dedicate to your dog's well-being. Making sure they get all the love, attention, and care that every dog needs! I care for pets in my home by providing daily grooming, obedience training, and plenty of playtime. I enjoy staying active with pets to ensure they are happy and healthy. Each pet receives personalized attention, whether it's a walk, a training session, or some fun and games.

“Jen was amazing. Bella seems to have had a great time on her week long stay. Jen sent pictures and kept us updated throughout the stay and was accommodating when we couldn’t pick up when initially planned due to unforeseen circumstances. I’ll definitely be booking with Jen and her family in the future”

“Absolutely fantastic experience with boarding! Vignesh took wonderful care of Mylo while I was away, sending daily updates including texts, photos, and even videos. This was my first time using Rover to board Mylo, who is a large breed (Bernese Mountain Dog). I was pleased that Mylo seemed incredibly comfortable with Vignesh and his family, and I brought him back home happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Vignesh for anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Kevin has been an amazing dog sitter for my pup, Damai, over the past couple of years. Damai always feels comfortable and happy staying with her, which gives me so much peace of mind whenever I’m out of town. Kevin is incredibly responsible, attentive, and truly cares about the dogs she watches. Her dog, Dofus, is also very friendly and welcoming, and Damai absolutely loves spending time there. Kevin’s place has become Damai’s go-to home away from home. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter!”

“Erin provided such a loving, safe and fun “vacation” for our dog. She sent us regular updates and we were very impressed with the level of care and attention he received. She really took time to get to know him and his quirks :) We were so comfortable knowing he was with Erin! Highly recommend!”

“Nicole was an ideal host. She and her husband had their home all set up to manage all the dogs they were looking after. That's dedication in my book. I will definitely keep her at the top of my list the next time I need someone to look after my dog.”
“Heather, My experience with you was nothing short of amazing for both my dog, Sawyer, and myself. Even before booking, you showed a genuine interest in learning all about Sawyer. It was clear that you not only love dogs but truly wanted to make him feel welcome in your home. You provided a dog-friendly environment and kept me well-informed with regular updates and photos through the Rover app. Thank you for taking such great care of him. He’s really looking forward to his next visit with you. BTW, he enjoyed the rest of his Birthday Cupcake! Warm regards, Brian”

“We boarded our dog Lucas with Paola for a week, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Paola kept us updated throughout the stay by sending us regular pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Lucas looked like he was having a blast—playing with the other dogs and enjoying his time. It’s clear that Paola truly cares for the dogs she watches. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving dog sitter!”

“I went away for the weekend. First time leaving my 2 year old german shepard. Misael was great he treated Loki as if he was his own. Misael sent many pictures and videos of them playing going on walks and just hanging out also. It was very comforting to know and see how well Loki was being cared for. We enjoy our trip, and Loki enjoyed his stay. I highly highly recommend Misael. I will be using him again and recommending him to all family and friends. Thank you Misael.”

“Peggy and her family were outstanding Rover hosts! They made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog for the weekend and welcomed her right into their home. Thanks again!”

He appears to have a great time each time he is there and clearly looks forward to being there. We are so grateful to have a trusted individual to care for our dog!”

“Gabriel was great!! He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention. Would definitely recommend and will be keeping his contact handy!”

“Bridget was fabulous. Blue had some digestive issues. We communicated with Bridget ahead of time and she was extremely supportive and helpful. She administered new food and medicine while Blue was there. She is an absolute pro and awesome to work with!”

“Our beagle had yet another wonderful stay with Kira and Steve. He loves it there, and I never worry when I am on vacation because they take such good care of him. Thank you!”

“Emily was amazing, she took care of our puppy so well, and was so sweet with her, also helped me with my first time finding a dog sitter stress and in a very short noticed too! Emily thank you so much”
