They hit it off immediately and Mahayla explained her background in animal/dog behavior studies and reassured us that all would go well... and it did! Our pup had a blast trail hiking and also just relaxing at Mahayla's home. Mahayla clearly understands and loves dogs, and it was clear that she was focused on our dog's enjoyment, comfort level and care. She was also focused on our needs as the owners. (6ft tall wood privacy) I learn quickly and care about how you want your pet care of above all else. I’ve owned, cared for, and fostered many animals across numerous ages and breeds. I have availability on weekends and after 4pm most weekdays. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute requests as my job allows for a good amount of flexibility I can adjust for a specific situation. I reinforce good behaviors or redirect bad behaviors with positive methods. I will not place any animal in an overly stressful environment and will meet them where they are at.

About: I have a sweet 4 yr old toy poodle girl and 3 yr old Siamese boy cat who love new friends! I’m attentive, patient, and treat every pet like family.🐾 Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy making part of my routine. I love starting the day with a walk and making time for play, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Since I work from home Wednesdays and Thursdays, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention without leaving them alone for long periods. About: I've taken care of animals all shapes and sizes since I can remember. Growing up my only job was to make sure my fur babies were fed and loved unconditionally. I would go to a friend of the family and help her with her pit bull and (several) greyhounds. I've worked at kennels from a young age and have had my own share of birds, mice, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas as well as dogs and cats. The home has only been without pets for around 7 months now and I would love to dedicate some of my time to people who need genuine love and care for their fur babies! About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!

(6ft tall wood privacy) I learn quickly and care about how you want your pet care of above all else. I’ve owned, cared for, and fostered many animals across numerous ages and breeds. I have availability on weekends and after 4pm most weekdays. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute requests as my job allows for a good amount of flexibility I can adjust for a specific situation. I reinforce good behaviors or redirect bad behaviors with positive methods. I will not place any animal in an overly stressful environment and will meet them where they are at.

Maybe because I grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes, and shared my life with Max, my sweet Cavalier, until he passed. Beyond love and care, I'm good at training and socializing, and dogs respond to my calm, confident leadership. I once cared for a reactive dog who barked at everyone who came near her, and I was the only one who could get her to settle and listen. After a month with a young Portuguese Water Dog, her owners told me she moped after I left. But mostly I think dogs feel good around me because they sense I genuinely care about them. I believe dogs are here to teach us to love and I want every dog to experience great care. For me, good dog care starts with getting to know the dog and the people who love them. I think dogs feel safest when their sitter truly knows them. Before any stay, I like to meet you and your dog, take a short walk together, and learn the little things that make your dog feel at home. That's why every stay begins with a meet and greet. What I offer that's different: - Pick-up and drop-off for longer stays: For stays of a week or more, I'll pick up and drop off your dog anywhere within a 30 minute drive of Dalton, including Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington.
