“So glad we found Brooke!!! We had deferred family vacations out of driving distance for the past two years because we no longer had family nearby who could watch our pups. That has all changed now. Rover.com was recommended by a friend and truthfully I was a bit hesitant until I met Brooke. She responded so quickly to my messages when I was exploring sitters and as soon as the pups met her I knew this would be a great match. She treated our girls like family, letting them nap on the furniture (just like at home), taking them for walks and playing fetch. She sent us pictures each day of the dogs and it made us feel so much more at ease seeing they were being loved on. About: I am a registered nurse so I only work 3 days a week. I grew up with animals, I attended training classes and one point we had 3 dogs living in our home at once. I grew up with a Laborador Retreiever, a mini Shnauzer Poodle mix and a hound mix, so I have had experience caring for each type of dog and any accommodations they may require. I eventually want a dog of my own but I am unable to at this moment in my life. My goal is to help people give their dogs the best life they can lead. About: My name is Jessica and I am a caring and fun person who has been caring for dogs since I was seven years old! Now I am 24 years old and do not have a dog anymore but still enjoy spending time with my friends pets and I dog sit for my neighbors. I am very active so I enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes. I live walking distance from a lake. If the dog I am taking care of feels comfortable in water then I will splash around with the dog in the lake (there are dirt roads in this area to walk the dog on too). I have had experience with a wide variety of breeds, so I feel pretty comfortable with any dog. I understand caring for a dog is similar to caring for a child. I am trustworthy and loving towards animals! I recently passed my board exam so now I am relaxing for some time & will begin my job hunt in February, 2022. Therefore, caring for a pet will fit perfectly into my current flexible daily routine. I do not live with any other pets & I create a safe environment by keeping the dog on the first level of my home only. On the first level I make sure that there are no hazards for the dog. In a client's home, I follow all of their reccomendations in order to keep the pet as comfortable & safe as possible.

I am usually available all the time except for the occasional vacation I might go on. Weekends are no problem either. I am pretty much available year round. I like to hang out with my dog all day. Adding more animals to the mix is no problem. I like taking walks with them and I also have a fenced yard.

I have been house and dog sitting regularly for the same family twice a year since 2007 and through word of mouth have picked up many more clients that would happily give a reference if requested. I feed fish and small pets and I'm happy to hang out with cats, spiders, and snakes too. I work full time for a very flexible boss, so getting home to let pets out on breaks and lunch isn't an issue. Once home for the day I tend not to leave so pets will be well cared for and I'll be very present for them. I don't trust letting any pet off leash while outside unless in a fenced in yard. Mahayla clearly understands and loves dogs, and it was clear that she was focused on our dog's enjoyment, comfort level and care. She was also focused on our needs as the owners. Leading up to care day she was extremely responsive. On care day she sent photos and updates. A perfect stay...thanks, Mahayla!”
“Amanda was great with our dogs. She listened carefully to each of their needs and made sure to accommodate particular requests. Amanda was prompt in getting back to us anytime we reached out and sent us occasional photos of the dogs playing or resting. She has a lovely home and large fenced-in backyard where the dogs could run free and get plenty of exercise. We felt at ease knowing our precious pups were kept safe and warm while we were away!”

“I can’t say enough about how well Sadie was cared for Kristina is certainly a dog-person. She read all the signs that Sadie was giving her to play, train go for a walk and chill. She followed all our directions and cared for Sadie as if she was her own dog. We received a lot of communication in the form of photos and videos. I would highly and without hesitation recommend Kristina to care for your dog too.”
