I have been house and dog sitting regularly for the same family twice a year since 2007 and through word of mouth have picked up many more clients that would happily give a reference if requested. I feed fish and small pets and I'm happy to hang out with cats, spiders, and snakes too. I work full time for a very flexible boss, so getting home to let pets out on breaks and lunch isn't an issue. Once home for the day I tend not to leave so pets will be well cared for and I'll be very present for them. I don't trust letting any pet off leash while outside unless in a fenced in yard. I'm overprotective to a fault. I have sat on a kitchen floor for 45 minutes letting a dog bark at me while getting used to having me around.

About: My name is Jessica and I am a caring and fun person who has been caring for dogs since I was seven years old! Now I am 24 years old and do not have a dog anymore but still enjoy spending time with my friends pets and I dog sit for my neighbors. I am very active so I enjoy taking dogs on walks and hikes. I live walking distance from a lake. If the dog I am taking care of feels comfortable in water then I will splash around with the dog in the lake (there are dirt roads in this area to walk the dog on too). I have had experience with a wide variety of breeds, so I feel pretty comfortable with any dog. I understand caring for a dog is similar to caring for a child. I grew up with a cocker spaniel and rescued my own dog as an adult as soon as I lived somewhere that would allow it. I’ve been around all different types and sizes of dogs and cats and love them all. I am currently working per diem and looking for a remote job so my schedule is very flexible. I am a morning person but don’t mind being up late either so all times are doable. I have a lot of common sense and spacial awareness so I am able to make good decision and be aware of anything that could be harmful to your babies.
About: Hello! I've had animals my whole life and love being around them. I'm available to walk dogs and give them good exercise for those that have a lot of energy. I am also available to stay overnight to take care of your house and animals. My love for animals has pushed me to study to become a veterinarian technician. I also currently work at Berkshire Veterinary Hospital so I'm comfortable bringing them to the vet in an emergency. I am also able to medicate (orally or injected) your animals. I'm also comfortable cutting nails. I have the most experience with cats and dogs but enjoy taking care of all animals whether they are furry, feathered, or scaled. About: I've taken care of animals all shapes and sizes since I can remember. Growing up my only job was to make sure my fur babies were fed and loved unconditionally. I would go to a friend of the family and help her with her pit bull and (several) greyhounds. I've worked at kennels from a young age and have had my own share of birds, mice, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas as well as dogs and cats. The home has only been without pets for around 7 months now and I would love to dedicate some of my time to people who need genuine love and care for their fur babies! I’m not sure how Mary & Todd could possibly have more energy than our dear Tilly but she’s officially exhausted and had the adventure of a lifetime. About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
“This weekend was Marloe’s first stay with Lori and I would say he had a blast! Lori was communicative throughout the entire stay. There were a few other pups staying throughout the weekend and I was impressed with lotus logistics of handling all of that. My pup came home tired and happy from his long weekend with various friends. As an apartment dweller he doesn’t get to roam outside as often as I would like so this was a treat for him. Thank you!”
