“Ralph is just great! He took care of our black lab for over a week and I think our boy is depressed that he had to come back home! This was our first time finding someone other than a boarding facility to take care of our dog and Ralph was wonderful. He is a natural with dogs and just a really nice guy. He has a great place with lots of outdoor space and his attitude and kindness cannot be beat. I was a bit nervous leaving our dog because he's a solid 85 lbs and he can be a lot to handle, but Ralph had no issue with him and they had a great week. Ralph sent pictures and updates daily. It was really fun to see how happy our dog was. They walked several miles every day. Ralph followed all of our requests and put us at ease right away. He really cares and wants the best. He also had other dogs in his care for some of the time our dog was there, and he handled that so well. We are thrilled that we found him and will definitely be reaching out again. 10/10 recommend!”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. She welcomed my family and dog into her beautiful home and has a great set up for hosting dogs. She has a perfect fenced backyard and we were able to see how her dog and cat interacted with our high energy dog. We had a last-minute change of travel plans due to illness and Adriana was so kind and helped us figure out a new plan. Once we dropped off our dog she sent frequent video and photo updates. We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

I can do special request if needed on weekends. I do not offer boarding at my personal home, but am happy to drive to your home instead! I like to follow the instructions given to me to ensure your fur baby is the most comfortable.
About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.
About: Not only can I walk your dog, check in on your dog, provide special care for special needs animals but I’m also able to do basic training with dogs. I love them and care for them like they’re my own. Because for that short bit they’re apart of my pack. I know they’re an extra special family member and they’ll miss you as much as you’ll miss them while you’re away so I’ll provide extra love and care they need until you get back. About: I’ve been a dog walker for 2 years. Each dog gets all the lovings and attention from me every time! I do drop in visits to feed a meal and just let them out, or I’ll take them on 15-30 minutes walks (weather/temp dependent). Dog walking is my current job, I’m just looking to fill my schedule a little more. I typically start around 10am and the last dog gets walked around 3pm so anywhere in that time frame works for me! I have worked with dog aggressive dogs by using an E-collar so I’m knowledgeable on how to use those correctly. I am comfortable putting dogs into their crate if needed as well.
About: I have been taking care of pets for friends and family for the last 6 years and it’s always been a welcome opportunity as I was never allowed to have pets growing up. I love nature, so long dog walks are never boring. I also have experience petsitting so I’ll make sure your pet is never lonely. I am able to stay with your pet all day and on weekends as well. The longest I would be out is 4 hours, but that would be very intermittent. I’m respectful of clients’ homes and I want the pet to be as comfortable as possible. If the pet makes a mess I will be sure to clean it as soon as possible and the return the place to how it looked before if not cleaner.
About: Lifetime of experience caring for my own dogs & cats. Experienced sitter caring for up to 3 dogs at a time. Experienced with many different breeds & dogs of all sizes. I am currently in grad school taking classes Monday & Wednesdays with limited availability for those days. I can offer drop in visits or walks 3-5 those days. I have dogs, cats, and horses at home so I am very comfortable working with all sizes of animals. I also know how to care for birds, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters and pigs. I know how much a pet can mean to someone so ill will care for yours as if they were my own I currently work 4 days a week. I am available Fridays to Sunday’s if you are looking for a weekend getaway or if you have a busy weekend and would like your dog to go for a walk I don’t offer in my home dog services but can offer cat or small animal boarding. You tell me home you’d like your pet cared for, weather it’s taking them for a walk or just letting them out in a fenced in area

“Ralph is just great! He took care of our black lab for over a week and I think our boy is depressed that he had to come back home! This was our first time finding someone other than a boarding facility to take care of our dog and Ralph was wonderful. He is a natural with dogs and just a really nice guy. He has a great place with lots of outdoor space and his attitude and kindness cannot be beat. I was a bit nervous leaving our dog because he's a solid 85 lbs and he can be a lot to handle, but Ralph had no issue with him and they had a great week. Ralph sent pictures and updates daily. It was really fun to see how happy our dog was. They walked several miles every day. Ralph followed all of our requests and put us at ease right away. He really cares and wants the best. He also had other dogs in his care for some of the time our dog was there, and he handled that so well. We are thrilled that we found him and will definitely be reaching out again. 10/10 recommend!”

We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”
