He was very responsive and arranged a meet-and-greet so my dog could get familiar with the environment before his stay, which I really appreciated. Jacob was incredibly flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, making things much easier around my work travel schedule. After dropping my dog off, I started receiving photos almost immediately, and it was clear he was already settling in and feeling right at home before I had even left for my trip. I especially appreciated that my dog was allowed to relax on the furniture and sleep wherever he felt comfortable. Jacob's dog, Wally, was also a wonderful host, welcoming my dog, sharing toys, and providing a great playmate throughout the stay. The fenced-in yard was another huge plus. About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. She and her husband David are such lovely people, and they have a warm, welcoming home. Willow immediately took to her home away from home. Lucille took her outside frequently and went on multiple long walks with her. I left instructions for Willow's diet, snack time and bedtime routine that she followed to the letter. I can't say enough good things about the care Lucille provided, and we will definitely be boarding with her again - likely within the month!”

About: My love for pets started 13 years ago when I got my first Samoyed during my freshman year of college. The following year, I welcomed a Husky into my apartment. About: I have owned a cat and a dog. I watch or check in on my friends' and family's pets when they are away from vacation. I WFH fairly regularly so check-ins are really easy. House sitting is doable, but would need to coordinate times as i have some activities with my kid. Animals are all about routine and I don't like to rock the boat. About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.

Lucille took her outside frequently and went on multiple long walks with her. I left instructions for Willow's diet, snack time and bedtime routine that she followed to the letter. I can't say enough good things about the care Lucille provided, and we will definitely be boarding with her again - likely within the month!”
