Usually Cosmo prefers staying in his crate while boarding, but with Jamie’s family he became so relaxed that he preferred their bed instead, which truly showed how safe and loved he felt there. Jamie also kept us updated regularly, giving us so much peace of mind. This is honestly the fastest I’ve ever seen Cosmo warm up to a family, and we’re definitely looking forward to many more stays. Highly recommend Jamie and her wonderful family for anyone looking for loving care for their furry buddies!”

About: I have watched dogs all sizes, breeds, and personalities since I was 16 for neighbors, friends, and family. I have fed pets, taken pets for walks, and hung with them. I do work full time but I’m around weekends, week nights, Thursdays, and Tuesday mornings. I have two dogs myself so I know how to manage time. About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! About: We have a large, very clean, and safe home with a big backyard. There are plenty of trails and sidewalks for walking around our house as well as a variety of parks nearby we can visit. I stay at home and will be available all day to supervise care for your dog(s). My three teenage kids will help provide care and are very responsible, loving, and diligent caretakers. Our own 2 small (4 lb) chihuahuas, Mocha & Lacey, are used to having other dogs around. When your dog(s) stay with us, you can be sure that they will be well loved, safe, and welcomed into the family as one of our own! I currently stay at home and am available to care for your dog for most of the day. My husband also works from home quite a bit and helps as well. About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.
