“Finn and Hadley loved their time with Luiz and his family. I felt very comfortable that my dogs were being cared for like they were at home. We would definitely recommend Luiz and we are looking forward to our next visit!”

“Emily was great, gave us plenty of updates of how Brodie was doing while he was under her care and was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. Would highly recommend and have her watch Brodie again!”

“Michael took our dog for an overnight stay in a short notice. Ozzy loved his stay and the other dogs he socialized with it. Happy puppy when we got him back. We highly recommend Michael. Thank you!!”

“Huckleberry and Sweet Pea has so much fun! They spent the holiday getting cuddles and playing with the kids. As far as my dog's are concerned, this was a great few days at camp!”

“Judy was an awesome host to our dog in her home. Our dog threw her some curveballs, as he can be a bit of a rascal, and she took everything in stride and was extremely patient with him. She kept us updated and gave us complete ease that she was taking excellent care, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy our vacation without worry. Thank you Judy, we would love to have King stay again!”
“Bojack loved staying with Kourtney! He is a fourteen years old. I like that Kourtney has a background in veterinary medicine. Not only did that make me trust her with his daily meds, it was nice knowing that there was a trained eye on him. Bojack is overly bonded to me to the point that he often sits by the window waiting for me to return when I go out. The biggest compliment to Kourtney's care is that when we picked him up, he greeted me with enthusiasm but not anywhere near the crazy welcome I usually get, AND he kept looking back at Kourtney as if he was unsure whether he wanted to leave! We will definitely have her watch him again.”

“Paul took care of Zin so well. I got pictures and/or videos every day, along with comments on how Zin was doing. An extra touch was that Paul returned all the food containers washed and stacked in the carrier they came in.”

“My first time making any kind of booking with Rover, Melissa, Axel and family were an amazing family and treated Maverick with so much attention, love and care. Their home is very pet friendly with a nice big yard and backyard area. Melissa is very experienced with pets, will be making a future reservation again with them soon. Thank you again so much for taking care of Maverick!”

“We thought we’d feel guilty leaving our dog behind for vacation, but knowing she was having the time of her life with Dawn and her family made all the difference! Their love and attention to her care were evident in every update, and we couldn’t get enough of the adorable photos and videos. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful family for her to stay!”

“I recommend her; she's very communicative and loving, and that's how she was with Tonka. She kept me updated throughout his stay, letting me know how Tonka was doing and sharing photos. I always knew how he was doing, and she always answered my messages.”

“Roxy had a wonderful stay with Jacquie and her family and pups! She clearly got a lot of attention and snuggles, walks in the woods, and yummy treats. Jacquie had clear and frequent communication and sent us pics. We would absolutely stay again :)”

About: I have been around animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had horses, dogs, cats bunnies, guinea pigs, birds - you name it, we probably had at least one! I absolutely love dogs and currently have a very high energy pit bull names Bizzy. He is a total sweetheart and loves all other living creatures, but he does need a lot of exercise. Luckily for both of us, lots of exercise happens to be my favorite thing! I am a marathon runner and love to take dogs for long walks or even runs if that’s what they need. I know that all dogs are individuals, so I want to get to know every dog I care for. If your dog needs a long run - great! If your dog needs cuddles and quiet time - awesome! I look forward to getting to know you and your pups! I work from home and love hanging out with dogs. During work breaks or on the weekends, I love fitting in hikes with dog friends. I’m happy to care for dogs in my home as long as they can get along with my dog and cat. If I’m in their home, I will always try to go above and beyond to keep the dogs happy and comfortable.

About: I’ve always grown up with dogs, but now that I’ve moved out, I don’t have one. I love having a furry friend to spend time with and play with. Besides taking care of my own pets, I’ve also had experience caring for my elderly grandparents and working with children for over seven years. I always prioritize my pet’s needs. If my pet eats at 6 am, I’m up and feeding it at 6 am. I also like to let my pet out every 2-3 hours, especially when it first wakes up or after eating. I enjoy going on walks, and there’s a rail trail nearby. Cuddles are everything. If this pet wants me to love on them I will be super cuddly. I want to make them feel as at home as possible.
About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

“Amazing! This was the first time we left our cat with a sitter so we were a little worried but we got pictures and updates every day. Her children loved playing with my kitty and we were able to have a getaway knowing our girl was very very well taken care of.”

“Devon was fantastic with our cats, including administering oral meds for one of our babies. She is consistent, reliable, and genuinely cares for and loves engaging with animals. I trust her to care for the animals as we do. We are so lucky to have someone as dedicated, reliable, and kind as Devon for our kitties!”

“Emily was very reliable and caring coming by to check on my cat Henry while I was on vacation. He was a little shy at first but warmed up to her after a few visits. I had peace of mind knowing he was being taken care of while I was away. I liked the pictures she sent with the daily visit update. I would definitely recommend Emily if you need someone to tale care of your pets while ypu are away.”

“Amanda was a wonderful pet sitter, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. She stayed in our home and cared for our cat while we were away, and she regularly checked in to let us know how things were going, which gave us real peace of mind. When we returned, our cat was happy and relaxed, and everything in our house was exactly as we had left it. We initially felt a little uneasy hiring someone we didn’t know to stay in our home and care for our baby for a week, but we’re so glad we put our faith in Amanda. We completely trust her and will absolutely hire her again.”

“Absolutely thrilled with the quality of service. I received pictures and updates. My cats were well cared for, and it made being away much more comfortable. I would absolutely recommend.Amanda.”

“Matt was very good at taking care of our cat Pixie, all though she is very shy he was able to interact with her on several occasions which is next to impossible. We would highly recommend using Matt and would do so again if he`s available.”

“Danielle was able to modify my original booking, becauase I accidentally put in the wrong dates. She kept us informed of the feeding and scooping of the cat boxes. She also told us about if she saw the cats, they hid when people are over.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for a few years now!! I’ve taken care of several friends’ cats for as long as a week or two, to just a weekend. I’m comfortable with just being in and out to just feed them and clean the litter box, or staying longer and spending time with the kitties. I don’t mind when cats hiss at me because I know they’re just speaking and I give them as much space as they need! I recently adopted my own cat, Shady, so I have even more experience now :))

About: I have cared for my 3 sweet cats for 9 years. I have gotten comfortable giving them medications (pills, liquid, creams, injections, fluids) and making sure to keep their environment safe, clean, and engaging. Would love to help your cats feel safe and loved!

“Melanie was fantastic with our two cats! She was reliable, attentive and caring and followed every detail of our care instructions perfectly. She kept our automatic cat boxes and food dispensers refreshed on schedule and even cleaned and recycled the food containers and dealt with the trash. Our kitties were happy to see her even our very shy kitty which gave us peace of mind. We wouldn't hesitate to book Melanie again and highly recommend her to anyone for a very caring cat sitter.”

“It was obvious to me that she was having a real good time with not only the other dogs but the children as well which makes me happy to know that she was well taken care of. Thank you so much for taking good care of my fur baby”
“Amanda was so good with my dog Freddy who has a high level of separation anxiety. Freddy ended up having a great day at Amanda’s house. She sent me pictures during the day. I highly recommend Amanda to watch your dog.”
“I was attending an event near Michael’s place and needed somewhere last-minute for my little chihuahua-mix (Billy) to hang out. I sent the request only the night before, and was so grateful Michael was so accommodating and accepted. I received photos of Billy having a great time outside with other dogs and he seemed very happy when I picked him up! I would definitely have Billy stay at Michael’s place again.”

“Kourtney was so incredibly kind and helpful with taking our Nellie girl last minute. She immediately made Nellie feel welcomed and safe, introduced her slowly to the other furry friends, and eased my worried heart by sending updates and photos regularly. We are so grateful to have found Kourtney and are looking forward to working with her again in the future!”

“I think our puppy Lucy officially found her second home with Dawn and her family! Knowing we needed a sitter before even bringing our puppy home, I turned to Rover and found Dawn—and I’m so glad I did. She went above and beyond from the start, even coming over with her kids to meet Lucy beforehand. She’s truly salt of the earth, and I immediately felt at ease the moment I met her. As first-time dog parents, we had plenty of questions and requests, and Dawn was so accommodating, evening keeping us updated with the sweetest photos. I loved that on our first daycare service Lucy got to socialize with her kids and even play with another dog while she was there. On top of that, my husband has a difficult work schedule, and Dawn was incredibly flexible, which made everything so much easier. Watching a hyper puppy is no small task, but Dawn handled it with such care and patience. We are so grateful to have Dawn and her family in out circle!”

“Tracy is an excellent host for our dog Riley. Riley is 15 years old and Tracy is patient and kind with him. She takes him on several short walks, provides him with plenty of water, and feeds him according to our specific steps. Tracy is also enjoyable for us to talk to. She is positive and upbeat. We like her so much.”

“My 6 month old puppy seemed to have a very good day with Erinn and her dog. He was nicely tired out from walks and playtime. Erinn is kind and flexible with you or your dogs needs. And I love that she works with a vet. That says a lot about her knowledge of and love for pets.”

“Samantha and Brian has a large backyard for my dog to roam and they took him on a nice hike in the woods. My dog had so much fun with them and their young kids. I would choose them again for a eventful daycare that my swiss shepherd definitely needs!”

“Vicky and her family were wonderful with Athena! She got lots of love and attention, and I received updates throughout. She came home happy and content. I would definitely use them again.”

“Jacky took very good care of our puppy Tucker! He is 3 months old and she was so kind, patient, loving. We are so appreciative that he was able to hangout with her dogs, roam around the yard, and have a nap time buddy! Jacky was great with food, walks, communication. We are so appreciative to have found her!!”

About: Hi all! I have lots of experience walking and caring for dogs/pups and cats. My very first pup was a chihuahua at around age 5. Since then my love for animals grew. I've had several Siamese cats, aquatic fish and dogs growing up. I've walked and cared for many different pups around town (just about all breeds) and I can assure your furry friend is in good hands. In our house I have a 13 year old son, a 2 year old daughter, three turtles, bearded dragon and several fish. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I can provide you with several references, past employer and client related. I can also pick up/drop off to make things easier. Thank you!
“Ben was fantastic. He took our pups at the last minute, and the hours I needed a sitter were not ideal. He was kind and the dogs were very happy when we picked them up. Ben sent multiple photos and was quick to reply to my questions. He has made some knowledge information on the dogs behavior. Thank you.”

“I feel so lucky to have found Sofie and Teryn! They took such great care of my two dogs for the whole day. I was thrilled to get pictures right away and throughout the day while I was gone. I hope to use their services many times to come. Javi and Rocky were happy and very well-cared for at the beautiful home. Thank you!”

“I just met Matt this year and he has been such a great support ! I work really long hours and was hesitant about finding a dog sitter as my dog is really selective with men. From one meet and greet my dog was comfortable with Matt & was friendly right away! Matt has been consistent and is extremely reliable & follows instructions! He makes sure remy is exhausted by the time he’s done and he also makes sure to give her her water breaks while on walks! I’m definitely sticking with Mat as a dog sitter. 🫶🏼 thank you for being there for my sweet girl !”

“Jorden is great with our dog Winston. Jordaen really takes the time to work with Winston on things he is still learning and Jorden let's us know Winston's growth. I would recommend Jorden. ☺️🐶”

“I needed Colin within a 2 hour notice. He helped me and took such great care of Mulligan! He gave me many updates and took great pictures! Thank you so so so much for being flexible and wonderful!”

About: We have a great fenced back yard, it is divided in two different areas providing a better environment according to your pet's need, where your dog can enjoy a sand box, trampoline and even swim in the pool like our dog does(if he is used to it). If he enjoys to run and play our half acre yard should be a great option. In our home your pet will sleep with our dog and have the same attention we provide her. We also have a nice basement where Molly plays when raining and 2 dog kennels outside that she uses to take naps when she wants(door stays open all the time) with plenty space and all the comfort necessary, but she usually prefers to run free and play in the yard the entire day. One thing is for sure: your pet will be loved and treated as part of our family, having lots of fun with our kids, something he will not be able to get at a regular "dog hotel". We do ask the owner's that all dogs are groomed prior to the boarding/daycare. We also board other pets like birds, turtles, guinea pig, etc. Because we do not have a huge house eventually, depending on the number of dogs we may have on a certain day, we cannot accept big dogs like German Shepherd or dogs around the same size and weight. We do require a MEET AND GREET for new dogs. I have been a trainer for over 30 years. My kids do homeschool so your pet will not be alone. There's always someone around. Also my wife only leaves to work if Iam home. I have a friendly dog, Molly, that will play with your dog the entire day and besides that my two kids love to interact with all the pets we have around. I have been a dog trainer for over 30 years and I am happy I have been able to be around them my entire life. My entire family loves dogs.
“We are so lucky to found Misty ! She is amazing to both our dogs and literally went above and beyond ! Our dog Skylar is a difficult dog, she is afraid of everything and takes longer time to trust new people, but Misty, she has her magic and now Skylar and Googie are her best friends ! Couldnt thank her enough for taking care our dogs for 3 weeks ! Highly recommended and did I mention she is amazing ?!”

I always do my best to be punctual, reliable, and accommodate your pet's routine. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I believe pets feel most secure when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and any special needs. I'll care for your home with the same respect I would my own, provide regular updates with photos, and treat every pet like a member of my own family.
“Dani is AWSOME. She was very patient with my mini schnauzer Toby.He likes to sniff everything and gets upset with other dog walkers when they rush him. She brought her dog Greyhound Zeke who is well behaved and adorable.”

We do have a backyard which is not fenced in and a porch that I usually block off to let my dogs get outside for some fresh air.

About: Hi! I’m JuJu, a happy-go-lucky animal lover who’s had pets my entire life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, birds, and even farm animals — I never had to ask Santa for a pony because I actually had one! Being around animals has always come naturally to me, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether your pet needs playtime, snuggles, slow-and-steady care, or a fun walking buddy, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and adored while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and great at following routines. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your furry family member is doing. I can’t wait to meet your pets and make them feel right at home! I’m a mom getting settled here in Massachusetts, and I currently have a very flexible schedule. I’m able to fit drop-ins and walks around my other duties, and I’m happy to help even on holidays. If you need reliable care at a specific time, just let me know—chances are I can make it work! I always make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while staying in their own home. I follow your routines closely so everything feels familiar and comfortable for them. They’ll have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention. I’m very mindful of safety—whether I’m giving them playtime, keeping them company, or taking them for a walk. I also send photos and updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet’s comfort and happiness truly matter to me.

About: I'm a lifelong dog and cat owner who treats every animal like family. I build strong bonds with dogs through communication, patience, and positive reinforcement. I enjoy basic training, teaching tricks, playing, walks, and giving dogs the attention and companionship they deserve. I want every pet in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm looking for side work taking care of people's pets along side my loveable Labrador. I'm available for walks, car rides, pet sitting and pet check-ins. I care for pets with patience, attention, and genuine affection. I follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and comfort level rather than treating every dog the same. I provide plenty of companionship, positive reinforcement, exercise, and mental stimulation while making sure they are safe and comfortable in their own home or mine. Most importantly, I want every pet to feel like part of the family while they’re in my care.

About: I've been taking care of animals for over 17 years now, and I've been around animals for my entire life. I currently own 3 ducks, a horse, and a cat - I take care of them daily. Over the years I've had chickens, sheep, a bird, a dog, and guinea pigs. I love taking care of animals so much that I was involved in nursing one of my chickens back to health when she lost a wing to a predator. She stayed inside for a while but was more than okay to go back outside after she was healed. Once she was ready to join the rest of chickens, she thrived with the other chickens. For walking at home, I walk on different days for around 1 mile each way, and with animals I love to walk with them. I'm available during most times of the day, as my nights are usually unavailable due to overnights with pets. Some nights will be available, but as of right now it's often booked! Just a heads up is appreciated. I do not have a fence around my property, but I will walk your dog whenever is needed to let them outside. If you don't have a fenced area, I will do the same for your own pet!

“Migle was absolutely wonderful with Zoë. She went above and beyond-carrying her up and down the stairs because Zoë couldn't manage them, sending regular photo updates, and treating her like her own. I felt completely at ease knowing Zoë was so well cared for. Truly exceptional.”

“Excellent experience. Sara seemed professional, friendly, and very on top of things. She stayed in close touch about our little guy, and Kiwi seemed in good spirits both during his visit and after. I'd also specifically flag her location as a bonus—the house has a good yard and it's on a small, low-traffic side street, which always makes me feel better.”

“Jessica and her family were amazing caretakers for our 6 month-old Golden Retriever, Ollie! During his stay, Jessica sent me continual updates, photos and videos of Ollie enjoying walks, playing with her own dogs, watching Sunday football, and having the best time! I would highly recommend Jessica and look forward to Ollie staying with her again soon!!”
