“In a word: FANTASTIC. Kathleen is caring and adjusts her care to your dog’s needs. (My dog Rose, is a 6.5 year old 45 pound standard poodle.). Kathleen communicates well and kept me fully informed about my dog’s picky eating habit. (My dog ate better with Kathleen than she does at home.) You cannot appreciate the boarding facility until you visit Becket. The house is lovely with numerous happy dogs running about, playing and relaxing inside and out. From my observation, the place looked remarkably clean and orderly. The woods surrounding the house are lovely and with an acre of fenced in fields and forest. Kathleen is warm, intelligent and wants your pet to enjoy its vacation. I have the highest praise and appreciation for the home away from home Kathleen provided my beloved dog.”

Not ready to bring home a new dog, but would love to care for your precious fur babies while you are away. I offer patience and attention to your canine's needs. I'm a human nurse but also experienced with dogs special needs such as insulin administration. I work Monday-Friday, Home on weekends. No young children. Available for walks, dog Parks (dog park with your approval), or hanging out in the yard secured on a 50 foot lead. Dogs are not left outside unattended. You're welcome to bring your pets favorite toy for us to use during their stay. Will try to keep them on your schedule for easy transition from home to sitter. I speak to animals as of they can respond. Days are better with happy pets! Friday drop-off at 5:30 pm. Sunday pick-up by 8:00pm. I have a large yard and a spacious house. About: I am good at working with all sizes, ages and breeds of dogs. I have a large fully fenced back yard and live on a quiet street. For longer stays of 1-2 weeks I offer pick up within a 30-45 minute drive from Dalton (this includes Great Barrington, Stockbridge and Lenox). I love dogs and grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes as well as owning my own sweet cavalier Max until he passed. Looking forward to showering love on your four-legged family member: lots of cuddles, play, walks. I've dog sat quite a bit - from sweet older dogs to nervous little dogs to velcro Portuguese water dogs. :-) Whatever your dogs routine, I will follow your instructions to the letter to ensure as little disruption to your dogs routine as possible so they feel safe and happy until your return. I know how hard it can be on owners to leave a beloved member of the family behind and how hard it is on a dog to miss their owner. I have dog beds, treats and toys (if allowed). Looking forward to hearing from you. I work from home so your dog will have plenty of companionship and attention from morning to evening. I usually walk dogs according to the schedule they are used to. In between, they can hang with me. IFeeding times will also coincide with your instructions. I'm an early riser so you are welcome to drop your dog off (with notice) as early as 7:30 am. I have a large three bedroom home with an huge fenced back yard on a quiet street near trails. It's single floor so no stairs for older dogs to contend with.

I specialize in anxious pups who do not like being with other dogs and do not like being alone - I keep my pup clients as close as they like and give them as much attention as they prefer. I have a large, unfenced backyard with a dog run for zoomies and potty breaks and we love getting out for walks too. I also have experience with senior dogs and administering medications, so if your pup needs a little extra TLC, they’re in good hands. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy home-away-from-home where your dog will be loved and spoiled, I’d love to be their sitter! Please note: unfortunately we have an allergy in our home to short-haired shedding dogs and can only accept long-haired (hypoallergenic) dogs :) I'm home all day to spend time with your pup and treat them like they were my own! My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re still at home, ensuring they experience joy and companionship until you return. I will send regular updates and photos to reassure you that your furry friend is thriving and enjoying their time. We have a large un-fenced backyard with a run hooked-up for your pup to spend lots of time outside. We also love to take walks down our street and at the local park. If your pup has some leash aggression with other dogs, we can walk them in our large private backyard to ensure they get exercise but without the stress other dogs may cause. If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

About: We LOVE and babysit all animals & dogs, we specialize in Pugs, English Bulldogs & French Bulldogs, we have a lot of experience with these breeds from having our own and caring for clients dog family! (We do travel up to 300 miles for in home stays, additional travel fee are quoted), (cross country house/pet sitting available upon request, special rates quoted). Our priority is their safety and comfort while remaining focused on them as individual pups each with their own unique routines, such as, maintaining their special diets, exercise and or supplements/MedX, which will be administered as determined by you. When we stay at your home we usually stay in a guest room, use one bathroom and the kitchen, tv/sitting room, we certainly don't require use of a full house. We are available to retrieving your mail, accept your packages, watering your plants and any other incidental services. We are a husband/wife team which is great because the pups are never left alone. I usually cook most of our meals. I vacuum, clean the bedding/towels, bathrooms & kitchen before we leave. We leave the house in order so that when you come back there is no mess or stress. We take our garbage and recycling with us. We also pick up after your pets, keeping the yard poop free. Our fee is $125/per night for up to 2 dogs and $150/night for 3-4 dogs. “In a word: FANTASTIC. Kathleen is caring and adjusts her care to your dog’s needs. (My dog Rose, is a 6.5 year old 45 pound standard poodle.). Kathleen communicates well and kept me fully informed about my dog’s picky eating habit. (My dog ate better with Kathleen than she does at home.) You cannot appreciate the boarding facility until you visit Becket. The house is lovely with numerous happy dogs running about, playing and relaxing inside and out. From my observation, the place looked remarkably clean and orderly. The woods surrounding the house are lovely and with an acre of fenced in fields and forest. Kathleen is warm, intelligent and wants your pet to enjoy its vacation. I have the highest praise and appreciation for the home away from home Kathleen provided my beloved dog.”
