They lost their beloved dog recently, but retained lots of toys, resting areas and gates if necessary to restrict areas of the house. Potato enjoyed the family room with frequent opportunities for human contact and a direct access to a fenced outside area. We were especially pleased with the one dog policy since Potato does not like to share attention. We had plenty of updates and pictures. About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! I work full-time from home, or if I goto my solo office, I would take the dogs. (Office is pet friendly and it's not far from my home) I am very good with dogs and have had them a long time. About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.
About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience including walks, overnight stays, and short visits. I also grew up with dogs and have lived with a few different cats in my adult life. I am new to the Rover app but am happy to provide references upon request. I work Monday-Friday 11-5 in Brattleboro. I can do overnights any day of the week, but just know that on these days I will be away for 6-7 hours depending on distance from your house. I love taking dogs on long walks and can do so 2-3 times a day. I am super communicative and experienced at house sitting while pet sitting. I am very respectful of people's homes and pets' routines. About: I volunteered for 1.5 years at a shelter in Montana and most recently worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility as a handler and trainer for approximately a year. I personally have been a dog owner since 2013 (not including family dogs growing up). I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and demeanors. I have extensive hands-on training in reading dog body language. I am particularly well-versed in building a good relationship with nervous/fearful dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own pet! I’m currently working full-time and looking to do pet care on the side. My schedule can vary from week to week but we can figure out what works best for both of our schedules. I always respect a dog’s boundaries and never do anything that they are uncomfortable with. I am a very confident handler and that helps in building a trusting relationship with a new dog. Even if the dog immediately wants to be my best friend, I let them come to me and I let them set the tone and pace. The most important thing with any dog is patience and not forcing them into a situation that could be stressful for them. I have successfully trained two dogs that I adopted with behavioral issues including reactivity to other dogs & people, and resource guarding. I believe in positive reinforcement ALWAYS. If a correction is needed I use a firm but calm voice, and praise when the inappropriate behavior stops. You can rest assured that I will never do anything to harm your beloved pet.
About: Dogs have and will always be a huge part of my life. We got our first family dog when I was just 3 years old and the rest is history. My husband Jack is extremely passionate about animals as well and is my partner in all of this so you get two dog sitters for the price of one. Between the two of us your pet will get so much love, cuddles & exercise. They lost their beloved dog recently, but retained lots of toys, resting areas and gates if necessary to restrict areas of the house. Potato enjoyed the family room with frequent opportunities for human contact and a direct access to a fenced outside area. We were especially pleased with the one dog policy since Potato does not like to share attention. We had plenty of updates and pictures. When we picked him up, he kept looking back to the door like he was trying to decide whether to stay or go home. We will absolutely contact Erica for any future stays. Six stars!”

Because I’m home most of the time, dogs get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship instead of being left alone for long stretches. My flexible routine also makes it easy for me to stick to your pet’s normal schedule for feeding, medications, exercise, and any special needs.
