“Having moved recently to New Bedford, we didn´t have any close friends or relatives to leave our Lhasa Apso Johann with. We are so glad we came accross Taylor and Tyler on the Rover platform. They responded to my first contact almost immediately and were very attentive in getting back to me so we could arrange our meet and greet. They took care of Johann for 5 nights and would send me pictures daily and keep me posted. Johann adapted very well and we could see he was being well taken care of and having a fun time! About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal on nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!

About: I’ve worked with animals my entire life and have had a lot of experience with all sorts of dogs (especially the big pups) I’m extremely patient & don’t mind the longer walks for the more energetic guys! I’m currently a student at PC so my availability varies/is flexible, however I’m almost always around after 4:30 on weekdays or in the mornings (with an exception of Mondays and Thursdays). Typically I’m free all day on weekends. Unfortunately I cannot board pets at my home, but I am no stranger to pet sitting and will make sure your pet is well taken care of.

So we told you our mission-- There's a few ways this translates. We have a huge yard. So, we don't take your pups on walks. BUT. We play fetch, tug of war, and intentionally initiate zoomies. If your pup is conditioned to expect walks, it's probably most fair to find a sitter who'll get that walk in! We love a good daytime cuddle, but we also like a good night's rest. So, your pets sleep in the living room, helping us avoid chaos while we're getting shut-eye. We kindly ask that if you book with us, that you're confident your doggies can sleep out on their own without too much fuss! We have an array of options for creating ideal environments for your pets, with baby gates, a large yard that can be segmented for dogs needing smaller spaces or space from others, and multiple kennels. About: I wasn’t allowed to have a dog when I was growing up, I became the neighborhood dog walker! Once I moved out I’ve had dogs ever since. My last dog Chloe passed away in early May at the age of 17. I miss having a dog around but am not ready to get another yet. I would love to hang out with yours! I’m a high school math teacher and off for the summer so I have a very flexible summer schedule. I usually take a couple of walks a day and would love some company! I am tidy, responsible, and take care of pets as if they were my own. I love to take daily long walks (3-5 miles) and the companionship of a dog makes this personal routine so much more fun. It’s not possible for me to have a pup of my own in my current housing so getting to spend time with other dogs brings me so much joy. Work freelance as a henna artist and with a catering company on island. I have a varied work schedule with most mornings open, happy to try to make your pet care needs fit into my day. I’m a great communicator and will always make sure I fully understand the needs of your home and pet before I agree to a job. I want us both to have a clear understanding and expectation of the level of care required so that everyone is comfortable. I am very respectful and mindful that every pet and home is unique, the details matter to me.

This was very educational and I believe that anyone working with home pets such as dogs and cats should have this knowledge and ability, so your pets are well taken care of and gives the owner a large amount of relief knowing the person they are with is educated for the safety, and also has so much passion for animals! About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal on nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!
