About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort as they age. I put a lot of love and care into every pet I watch. I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby, so I treat every dog as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule where I work from home somedays. My partner also works 5 minutes from our house and is able to help with potty breaks during the day. We spend a lot of time in our yard or walking the canal on nice days and would love a wagging tail to join us. We have a fenced in yard and live in a quiet neighborhood to go on walks. We love to go to the canal and spend time outside. We have a fully finished basement with mini splits and air circulation system, perfect for any size dog to enjoy!

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.

We keep our boarding price more than reasonable to give folks the financial bandwidth to spend their vacation money on their vacation--not on boarding their pets. We are both contract workers with flexible schedules, and Taylor is often able to work from home so your pets will have plenty of companionship! So we told you our mission-- There's a few ways this translates. We have a huge yard. So, we don't take your pups on walks. BUT. We play fetch, tug of war, and intentionally initiate zoomies. If your pup is conditioned to expect walks, it's probably most fair to find a sitter who'll get that walk in! We love a good daytime cuddle, but we also like a good night's rest. So, your pets sleep in the living room, helping us avoid chaos while we're getting shut-eye. We kindly ask that if you book with us, that you're confident your doggies can sleep out on their own without too much fuss! We have an array of options for creating ideal environments for your pets, with baby gates, a large yard that can be segmented for dogs needing smaller spaces or space from others, and multiple kennels. About: I wasn’t allowed to have a dog when I was growing up, I became the neighborhood dog walker! Once I moved out I’ve had dogs ever since. My last dog Chloe passed away in early May at the age of 17. I miss having a dog around but am not ready to get another yet. I would love to hang out with yours! About: Beyond being a dog owner myself to my beloved rescue Jordi, I've also taken more dog sitting jobs than I can count. I LOVE dogs! About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was 3 years old, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I have hands on experience with large breeds and am confident handling bigger dogs with different energy levels. About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
