“Carl took incredible care of Milo! He came back exhausted. Carl also provided me the most pictures I’ve ever gotten, which I appreciated to see how much fun Milo had on his stay. Would 100% recommend to anyone!”

“We are new to using Patti, but couldn't be happier with her care of our Josie. Patti was very good about letting me know how Josie was getting on and sending photos of the two of them together. I have already scheduled our next visit with Patti!”

“This family provided my dog exceptional care! My dog came back even healthier than before lol. It is so nice that your beloved dog is getting amazing care and having fun while you are away. I would recommend this place to anyone.”

“I HIGHLY recommend Heidi if you need someone to board your pet. She is very responsive and gave me lots of updates with some amazing pictures of my dog! I’m very happy with my choice to board with Heidi!”

“Dobby had an amazing time! She came back so happy. She spent a lot of her time in the kiddie pool, playing with other dogs, chewing bones, and being her energetic, social self. So happy to have booked Nicole again!! Highly recommend!”

“So glad we found Brooke!!! We had deferred family vacations out of driving distance for the past two years because we no longer had family nearby who could watch our pups. That has all changed now. Rover.com was recommended by a friend and truthfully I was a bit hesitant until I met Brooke. She responded so quickly to my messages when I was exploring sitters and as soon as the pups met her I knew this would be a great match. She treated our girls like family, letting them nap on the furniture (just like at home), taking them for walks and playing fetch. She sent us pictures each day of the dogs and it made us feel so much more at ease seeing they were being loved on. I can not say enough kind things about Brooke and her family and I highly recommend her. She went exceedingly above what was necessary and we will certainly be calling on her again!”

“Tricia was very easy to communicate with & made the process very easy! I felt great leaving my pup with her over the weekend and I know Pippin had a great time. She came back to me a very happy and smiley puppy.”
“Christian is great! He is patient, chill, and very good with dogs! I loved that our dog wanted to go back inside with him when we had to leave; that is a great sign!”

“Sandra is great! Lottie clearly remembers her and is so excited to see her which says it all. She communicates well, loves dogs and has a nice fenced in yard. We will keep coming back for sure!”

“John was fantastic with our two pups. It was obvious he spent a lot of time with them and the daily photos were wonderful. We will definitely use John again should the need arise and we highly recommend him.”

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

“Heather was fantastic! I needed a last minute booking and she and her family were superb. My pup came home so happy and content!! Thank you!! Would recommend Heather to everyone.”

“My dog had a wonderful day with Manolita!! She’s so kind and caring and made us both feel comfortable! When I picked him up from his stay he was very comfortable and calm, which was a great sign! She also sent pictures and updates throughout the day, which I loved! I highly recommend her!”

“I booked sort of last minute and wasn't able to make a meet and greet happen (though Abigale kindly offered) and I felt totally comfortable dropping my Bernie off. I got plenty of updates while away and plan to use them again! Bernie was well cared for! And their home is lovely! Thank you!”

“Chris is the perfect dog sitting. She was caring and intuitive to Charlotte’s needs. Charlotte’s care was like a doggie vacation. She had walks, playtime and a new friend to play with. Charlotte was made to feel comfortable within Chris’ home. Also, I enjoyed glimpses of her visit via photos/ videos. It was a great experience. Thank you, Chris”

“Yenifer took excellent care of my dog. He was so happy with her! She made sure she communicated everyday with us during the stay, sent us pictures and updates. We are very happy with her services and would strongly recommend her. Thank you, Yenifer.”

“Matt stayed with our two cats and administered insulin to our oldest cat Mojo despite some challenges with Mojo being uncooperative. Matt was good at communicating any issues and seeking help. He cared for our house very well and left it clean and in good shape. I would recommend Matt.”

“Shawna did a wonderful job caring for our 17 year old, blind and ailing old cat as well as caring for our farm. We were able to relax and not worry. We received pictures and updates from each visit, which was a huge comfort. We recommend highly and without reservation!”

About: I’ve cared for cats in both professional kennel settings and in clients’ homes, giving me experience with felines of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve house sat for a cat with diabetes, managing daily care and keeping them comfortable and stress free. At my current kennel, I also work with cats who board with us, so I’m used to feeding routines, behavior monitoring, and keeping their spaces clean and cozy. From administering medication to scooping litter boxes and giving extra love to shy or senior cats, I make sure every feline friend feels safe, understood, and treated like family. Whether your cat needs calm companionship, structured care, or just someone who respects their unique personality, I’m here to keep them happy and at ease while you’re away.
“There aren’t enough good words to describe Alexis and her kindness and huge heart! I just love her and want to know her forever! In fact, I don’t think I’ll ever let anyone else take care of my cat except for her. She has spoiled us! She is just what you’re looking for in a pet sitter, I promise! She is THE exemplary role model and the best representative for Rover.com ever. Alexis is warm and caring, genuine and kind, and we just love her!”

About: I’ve always owned Siamese cats, there is nothing like curling up with a book and your kitty! My time working at a boarding facility allowed me to learn how to properly care for, administer medications, read body language, and give all the love I can to any cat I come across!
About: I’ve Taken care of my personal pets (4 dogs 1 cat) since they came to us. Providing Meals, Daily exercise, and a Loving Environment for them to live in. In more recent years i have house and dog sat for a majority of my family and friends, Providing Exceptional care to their Homes and Four legged Friends, I’m currently working part time so House and Pet sitting is no problem at all, Walks are also easily convenient to fit into my day Providing a loving and safe presence whilst being with your pets is my number 1 priority, also making sure they are well cared for during the duration of the stay

“Our two cats really liked Mickala. She went above and beyond helping us with several situations such as trimming a cat's nails and cleaning up some ants which got into the auto-feeders.”

“Annika was really wonderful looking after our two cats. She was super easy to communicate with, professional and friendly and sent lots of pictures of our cats which was really reassuring. When we got home our cats were relaxed and happy and had clearly had a lovely time. I highly recommend Annika! Thank you for looking after our family.”

About: I grew up with a cat in the house and have provided both indoor and outdoor cat care for friends and family for several years now. While some people might think cats are standoffish or hard to please, I know that cats come in all sorts of personalities, and I am passionate about providing the best care for your kitty, including petting and lap time for more social cats, playtime for those who are more energetic, and space and calm encouragement for those who like their alone time, or may be slower to come out of their shell. I also have patience for pets with special diets or food needs.

About: Have owned dogs for over 20 years, pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors. I am over cautious and protective when it comes to animals, I'm also active so love walking dogs, throwing a ball for them, or taking them to our local lake for a swim. I have tons of patience for shy dogs, I have dealt with rescue dogs and know when to get close or not to an animal. I have never had an incident where I have had a dog become aggressive with me. I have taken my own dog to obedience school a few times and learned a few key trips for working with difficult dogs or puppies. I have taken care of puppies within the past three years and am comfortable with the extra care they require. I have a solid connection with our local vet and emergency animal hospital and am able to handle dogs who need shots or medications administered. I work from home and have several pets already needing care. Bathroom breaks, walks, ball throwing, catnip time, all of it already happens in my home. We have several pet fences within our home and a puppy proof first floor. If a pet is okay of leash then we walk them around our 4 acres throwing a ball or whatever the pet likes. If a pet is not okay off leash, then we just walk them on a leash on our land every 1.5 or 2 hours or as needed. Water bowls are everywhere, no chemicals are on site within reach of curious puppies, and no cars move very quickly on our driveway and everyone who does arrive at our home knows we have several pets and need to slow down. We have owned dogs for over 25 years and have never had any of our pets get injured.

“Emily did a wonderful job with our special needs cat, Dakota. Dakota is paralyzed in the back after having been hit by a car years ago. He gets around ok dragging his back legs but he has to have his bladder expressed three times a day. Emily had experience doing this in the past (I think in some kind of vet assistant capacity or something like that) and successfully managed Dakota when we went out of town for a few days. Dakota stayed at Emily's house with her cats and it all worked out fine. Emily's house is so cat friendly with cat climbing things all around and Emily even mentioned that down the road she might have cat grass (that our cat loves to eat) since she grows it herself. We were also happy that Emily was fine with us leaving all Dakota's regular collection of favorite things: his little cat house, cat bed, and even the ramp we made for him to climb up on couches. It was so nice for us to think of Dakota in a friendly home rather than in a cage at the vet. We loved how Emily was great about communicating both in terms of photos showing Dakota was doing well and also asking intelligent questions to make sure the expressing of the bladder was going well. When we picked Dakota up, he was in fine shape and clearly had been well-taken-care of. We'll definitely use Emily again!”

“This is the second time that I used Amad to care for my cats, he has been great, will stay and play with them, easy to reach and will quickly respond . Overall we highly recommended .”
About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was 7, I started by walking and bathing family dogs and then branched out to neighbors and friends! I absolutely love every single breed and age of dog because they are all so special. And I will be able to adapt to what your fur baby needs! I will be working from home part time, so any time of day that you need me to watch or walk your fur baby I can! I live in a secure apartment complex near Bridgewater State where there are plenty of fields, parks and sidewalks to bring your dog to play!
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was able to walk. My family has had four incredibly well-behaved labradors and I trained the latter two. Anything from basset hounds to gargantuan huskies have spent countless hours at our house we called Camp Dog. I can train younger dogs and take care of the older ones which makes me a prime candidate for just about any dog-care position. I am a college graduate who desperately needs to fill my time and get exercise. This wonderful job lets me check both of those boxes while working with animals! There is a small fenced in area at our property but for the best experience for the pets I will definitely be taking them to the nearby parks. I also am very receptive to anything the owner would like done more specifically with their pet.
“Ace is an incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and caring sitter. We booked her to care for our two older cats and she was so communicative and kind to the little guys. One of our cats needs a subcutaneous injection daily, and she did a wonderful job delivering it - even when he was being difficult. I couldn’t recommend Ace enough, and am definitely going to book her again in the future.”

“Kathleen was great. She was very responsive before we dropped our pooch off, and then sent regular updates throughout the day. He was in a good mood when we picked him up at the end of the day.”

“Shawna was a great sitter. My dogs are never tired. But they were worn out when I picked them up so I know they got plenty of exercise and attention. I highly recommend Shawna!!”
About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
About: I sincerely LOVE getting to know each individual dog's personality (quirks and all!) and learning about what makes them happiest. I have many years of experience: walking dogs in NYC & in Western Mass; pet-sitting for my friends', neighbors' and partner's dogs (as well as for other types of pets). I create a warm, nurturing and happy environment for my precious furry friends to thrive. (Please note: on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, I am usually available from 11 AM-5:30 PM; on Mondays & Wednesdays, I am usually available from 11 AM -12 PM) I'm currently working part-time as a educator (tutor) so I have ample time to provide dog care (walking, drop-in day care and occasional boarding) during the week, Mon-Wed and Thurs-Friday. On occasion, I may be able to board dogs during the weekend. I live in an extremely peaceful, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood (the Plains of Easthampton) toward the end of a cul-de-sac. So there is almost no cars or traffic here. I do have a front & back yard. Although it is not fenced, it is backed by trees and, as mentioned, almost zero traffic
About: I am a lifelong dog person with a large fenced yard and miles of trails out my back dog. A tired dog is a happy dog. Unless I am traveling myself I am extremely flexible and available. I will let you know if I will need to spend more than a few hours away from your pet before booking a stay. I think it’s important for pets to keep to their normal routine while their people are away. A little extra attention and affection also helps ease the stress of separation. I have a pretty mellow disposition and enjoy cuddling with a furry friend while reading or watching a show.
“We have loved working with Tricia! Very flexible, understanding, and affordable. She went the extra mile for our senior dog. Can’t wait to book the next visit for our dog!”

“We had a last minute booking and Gabby was so accommodating. She updated us with photos and I think Honey had the best day with her. Our plans ran late and again she accommodated with no problems. Highly recommend.”

“Ziggy was great with our dog Jet! Jet is a high energy Springer Spaniel and she went above and beyond with taking him for hikes and making sure he got enough exercise. She took care of Jet at our home and was respectful of the space and was able to keep Jet’s routine as normal as possible which made us comfortable leaving him with her. We would definitely book with Ziggy again in the future!”

“John and his two very sweet doggies were wonderful with our skittish girl, Chloe. John's calm demeanor is exactly what dogs respond well to. He took lots of pictures of playing and walking, putting us at ease. When we came to pick her up, she had become part of the pack. Great sitter!”

“Nicole was amazing! My pup had a blast at her place, and she came back very happy and tired after the fun playtime. Nicole provided photos and updates along the way. Thank you!!”

“Katie and her family were an absolute dream! I couldn’t be more pleased with how attentive and caring they were towards our puppy. I highly recommend Katie! I wish we lived closer to use her again! Thank you, Katie!”

About: I can't remember a time that I didn't have at least one dog. I often had several at a time and they all lived a long and happy life with tons of love and affection! I will care for your dog(s) as if they were my own and provide the affectionate, loving care they deserve. I have raised 3 great kids who are now all grown so I would love the opportunity to share my life with as many pets as possible. I have a flexible schedule. I believe in keeping your dog in a fenced-in area (supervised) or on a leash at all times while outside. I also believe in crate training puppies for potty training and safety only.

About: I’ve spent the last 5 years working in professional dog kennels in Berlin, MA, and I currently work at a local kennel here in western MA. During that time, I’ve cared for dogs of every size, age, and personality. From shy seniors who need gentle patience to high energy wiggle butts who never slow down. As a kennel supervisor, I’ve handled dogs with medical needs, administered medications safely and on schedule, and monitored behavior to keep every pup calm and comfortable. I’ve also been trusted to run the kennel independently, managing feeding routines, cleaning, enrichment, and safety from open to close. Now, I’m excited to bring that same level of professional, loving care into your home. Whether your dog needs a simple walk, extra patience, medication support, or someone who treats them like family, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved one walk, one wag, one kiss at a time. I just graduated from college and I’m working hard to save for my first home! This means I’m going to spend my days doing something I genuinely love, which is caring for pups. My schedule is flexible and I’m available almost every day of the week. Availability: • Most weekdays: mornings, evenings, and some mid‑day slots depending on my kennel shifts • Weekends: flexible around my kennel shifts • Nearly every day available with advance request! Now that school is behind me, I’m able to take on more walks, drop‑ins, and extended care. I love what I do, and I’m committed to giving your pets reliable, loving, stress free care every single visit. <3 When I’m caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal, comforting, and stress‑free as possible. I follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood while you’re away. Here’s what you can expect: Routine‑Focused Care: I stick to your pet’s usual feeding, walking, play, and medication schedule so everything feels familiar and calm. Open Communication: I keep communication easy and consistent. If anything comes up or you’d like updates, I’m always reachable and responsive. Photos Included: I send pictures and check ins so you can see how your furry family member is doing and feel connected while you’re away. Walks & Outdoor Time: I tailor every walk to what your dog enjoys, whether it’s relaxed neighborhood strolls, peaceful nature walks, or extra sniff‑time to burn off energy. Medication & Special Care: In my personal and professional experience, I am very comfortable with pets (cats or dogs!) who have medical conditions, including administering medications safely and on time (even insulin). Clean & Comfortable Spaces: I keep litter boxes clean, fluff up dog beds, refresh water bowls, tidy feeding areas, and make sure your pet’s space stays cozy and stress‑free. Behavior Awareness: With my kennel background, I’m trained to read body language and keep pets comfortable, especially shy, senior, or anxious animals. My goal is simple to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved until you’re home again.

Some of my clients opt to have a neighbor by for a potty break, but it works for many dogs that I go right there, let them out and feed them. My main focus is providing care for animals by overnight house sitting, drop-by care, or dog walking. There may be a small travel fee added for houses outside my service area. My house sitting is very in demand, so please book early for best availability! Thank you! I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about keeping your pet safe. I carefully assess dogs we may meet to ensure safety and distance, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. Your best friend is in good hands with me!
“Saige aka Ziggy was an absolute dog whisperer. Ziggy took great care of my dog, which allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation. If you’re looking for a dog sitter or walker, stop searching. One report card wrote “An aggressive dog approached Boone, I stepped in front of Boone and the other dog ran off.” I mean talk about CARE & SAFETY. ⭐️ x 5”

About: With 25+ years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a vet tech, I treat each animal as I would my own. I enjoy getting to know clients and their companion animals. I feel it is important for pets to have someone familiar taking care of them while their people are away. For this reason, I will usually ask to set up a meet and greet prior to the first booking. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience with small mammals (e.g. gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits), exotics (e.g. lizards, turtles, birds), and farm animals (e.g. chickens, horses, cows, sheep, goats). Whether exercising exuberant young animals, entertaining indoor cats, or just keeping them company so they don't miss you [as much], I'm there to be another one of their people! I look forward to meeting your animal companion(s) and learning more about their routine and requirements to keep them happy & healthy while you are away. You can expect to receive updates including photos while they are in my care. Drop-in visits and house sitting generally available 7 days (between 8AM-8PM) and 7 nights/week. I offer dog walking but not are occurring service on week end days, though available some weekends. My own yard is unfenced; I offer leashed walks and potty breaks in yard and/or on nearby trails. Due to respect for my 3 cats, I do not offer doggy day care or sitting in my home across the board. I have made exceptions for cat-friendly and low-key critters in the past. Find it generally works best to care for pets in the comfort of their own home, where I keep their regular routine going to the best of my ability.
“Dorjee was wonderful! She was kind, dependable and my dog loved her. Sunny was excited to see her each day. We really appreciate her and look forward to working with her in the future.”

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have had several cats and dogs of my own and cared for many more, so I am comfortable with adjusting to their different personality types.

“Jonathan was wonderful with my dog. He was happy help me out in a pinch, and while I never got to meet him, my roommates raved about how good he was with my high energy mutt. He was able to keep up with her and outsmart her when play time was done. Definitely would recommend!”
