I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. I also worked for a few families to care for their dogs in the past assisting with feedings, play time, and walks. I have some experience training using a clicker as I have trained my own dog and know of little tricks. Dogs brighten up my day and I love being around them whenever I can. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.
