Maybe because I grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes, and shared my life with Max, my sweet Cavalier, until he passed. Beyond love and care, I'm good at training and socializing, and dogs respond to my calm, confident leadership. I once cared for a reactive dog who barked at everyone who came near her, and I was the only one who could get her to settle and listen. After a month with a young Portuguese Water Dog, her owners told me she moped after I left. But mostly I think dogs feel good around me because they sense I genuinely care about them. I believe dogs are here to teach us to love and I want every dog to experience great care. For me, good dog care starts with getting to know the dog and the people who love them. I think dogs feel safest when their sitter truly knows them. Before any stay, I like to meet you and your dog, take a short walk together, and learn the little things that make your dog feel at home. That's why every stay begins with a meet and greet. What I offer that's different: - Pick-up and drop-off for longer stays: For stays of a week or more, I'll pick up and drop off your dog anywhere within a 30 minute drive of Dalton, including Lenox, Stockbridge, and Great Barrington. One less thing to manage before your trip. My home is calm and quiet, with a large, fully fenced backyard on a peaceful street in Dalton. I work from home, so your dog has company through the day, plus walks, play, and plenty of affection. I follow your instructions to the letter so your dog's routine stays as close to home as possible, and you'll get photos and a quick update every day so you can relax and enjoy your trip. Also happy to reinforce any training your dog is working on like leash manners. How I work: Every new client starts with a meet and greet, about 30 minutes with a short walk together, so your dog and I can meet before the stay. About: I have had several wonderful experiences caring, walking and looking after dogs. I have several family members as well as family friends with furry friends that they have let me walk and look after while they are away. I love to play and sit in the yard as well as cuddle up spend time with my animals when we're not going for a walk. I don't have any dogs but I do have two lovely indoor cats at home which I make sure have their every need taken care. I do the same with any animals I am taking care of at the time because I know how important these dogs are to me and to the family that they are apart of! If treats or fun playful activities such as fetch are apart of these dog's lives then I love to partake as well! I work part time which leaves plenty of time to look after your pets! I take care of my kitties whenever I am home and leave plenty of toys for them to play with when I’m not home. I can walk and visit dogs and cats at your home or take in a cat at mine. I do have two cats of my own living with me.

About: We LOVE and babysit all animals & dogs, we specialize in Pugs, English Bulldogs & French Bulldogs, we have a lot of experience with these breeds from having our own and caring for clients dog family! (We do travel up to 300 miles for in home stays, additional travel fee are quoted), (cross country house/pet sitting available upon request, special rates quoted). Our fee is $125/per night for up to 2 dogs and $150/night for 3-4 dogs. About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I grew up with Labs, so I’m very familiar with big personalities, lots of energy, long walks, playtime, and plenty of slobbery love. 🐾 I also adopted a cat, which taught me that sometimes the best way to win a pet over is to let them come to you (and maybe offer a few treats!). Although my own pets have since passed, they gave me years of experience, amazing memories, and a genuine love for caring for animals. (6ft tall wood privacy) I learn quickly and care about how you want your pet care of above all else. I’ve owned, cared for, and fostered many animals across numerous ages and breeds. I have availability on weekends and after 4pm most weekdays. I am flexible and don’t mind last minute requests as my job allows for a good amount of flexibility I can adjust for a specific situation. I reinforce good behaviors or redirect bad behaviors with positive methods. I will not place any animal in an overly stressful environment and will meet them where they are at.

Maybe because I grew up with three mammoth Samoyeds and Malamutes, and shared my life with Max, my sweet Cavalier, until he passed.
