We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

About: I have a yorkie that I have taken care of for 7 years. I also volunteered at a dog shelter for two years which got me accustomed to all sorts of dogs! I currently work as a host at cheesecake and am a full time student at northeastern, I currently am taking summer courses and have more time to myself. I walk, feed and play with my dog! About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. Family members, friends, neighbors, etc. have always had pets and have relied on me to take care of them for periods of time. I work on a hybrid schedule, so I am home most Mondays, Fridays - Sundays all day. When I am in the City working I have breaks where I can walk dogs that are close by as well. I am happy to have an animal cuddled onto my lap and do not even mind being licked all over my face! I treat every pet as if it was my own. I trained two dogs from 8 weeks old, on so understand what it takes. I have had a cats my entire life and I love kitties as well! I am comfortable with big and small animals. My children are the biggest animal lovers I know and both want to be vets when they grow up. We would treat your pet like it was our own with more love than you can imagine! My girls and I are around most of the summer, as I work in a school. We are very active so we would love to be out and about walking and taking care of your dog or taking care of your cats! If I were to come to your home and take care of your pet or walk your dog, I would be very comfortable letting myself in and approaching any time of animal. I would give them all the love in the world an any care or exercise they need!
About: I've grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. I have cared for pets while friends/family were away and enjoy doing so. I love spending time with animals. At the moment I am part time and have my daughter. My schedule is very open. Even on my work days I am free the first half of the day. However you want them taken care of is how I will do so. About: I have loved dogs and animals in general for my entire life. Right now, I work at Buddy's Doggie Daycare in Norfolk MA, and I love it, but I am looking for more one on one experience with a dog. At Buddy's my job is to watch the dogs and interact with them. Another part of my job is to protect the dogs in case of a fight breaking out. I have learned to think and act quick in those kinds of situations. When something like that happens, you step in quickly and it was scary at first, but I love and care about the dogs so much it doesn't matter to me if I get a little hurt, as long as the dogs are okay, I am happy. At Buddy's there are dogs of all ages and sizes, so I am used to being around them. Growing up I was known for my love of animals. My Aunt has a dog and whenever they go on a trip they ask me to dog sit her. I love walking her and taking care of her. I was never able to have a dog growing up because my dad and sister are allergic. I want to give every dog I can the love they deserve. Before I worked at Buddy's I worked at Pet Supplies Plus in Franklin MA. There I learned some basic needs of dogs and how to take care of them in an at home setting. I worked there for 2 years until I moved on to Buddy's, Currently I am working full time, but I am working on clearing my schedule, so I have plenty of time to work and care for your dogs!! I don't go to school or have any other obligations other than my current job. Depending on what your dog and home is like, I will make sure they have a great and safe time with me. If there is no fenced in yard we can play inside or go for a nice walk. And if your pup is older and needs more down time we can go for drives and get him/her a little treat. No matter what the setting is, I will make sure your dog is safe and happy as can be!
About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.
About: I have been providing in-home pet care for over 4 years now, with plenty of experience walking, caring for, and loving dogs. I have administered medicine, and am cpr and first-aid certified. I currently have 1-2 daily walks scheduled everyday Monday-Friday, and am looking to add up to 6 walks everyday! I’m hoping to have breaks between every 2-3 walks in order to care for any pet I am currently caring for in-home. About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. I love dogs around here, and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.
