This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. I know it’s hard to leave your fur babies but sometimes you just have to. You can be rest assured that I will love them like they are my own while you’re away! We can go on walks, play in the yard, or just cuddle if that’s what they want. Whatever makes them happy is what I’m there to do. If you want pictures and updates while you’re gone, no problem! You’re happiness is just as important as theirs and I will go out of my way to make sure you feel comfortable leaving your fur babies with me.

About: I’ve raised my dog, Tino, since I’ve been 10! I’ve gone through all the stages from a pup to now a senior dog. I am also currently studying to become a DVM so I love all furry friends! :) I have 100+ volunteer hours at animal shelters and I currently work part time at a pet boarding facility. About: I have loved animals ever since I was in elementary. I have had 5 Dogs, from a German Shepard to a little Yorkie Poodle mix. Currently I have 2 Guinea Pigs and 2 Leopard Geckos and a beautiful cat named karma. Family members and friends have asked me to look after their fur babies for days and entrusted them with me. I give my all when watching the fur babies and treat it as if they were mine. :) I am currently a full time college student, I am studying marine biology and plan to use that degree to go to a veterinarian School. When first entering an environment, it's important to take a mental note of any hazards that could be a danger to the animal. Any hazards being, loose metal wires they could chew, or foods that may be dangerous to them. Examining a new environment is also important. Always making sure to not have any allowed guests inside the customers house is very important part of great service as well, to instill that trust that the client has put in you for their furry loved one!

About: I have worked as a vet assistant at an animal hospital for 3.5 years with plans to apply to the LSU vet school. I have also owned and cared for animals my whole life, including farm experience. I am currently working part time, so I don’t have many weekly hours.
