During our meet and greet I noticed that her home and backyard are “pet proof”, so I knew that our sweetie would be safe during his visit with her. As a bonus, Crystal is super sweet! She sent periodical updates to let me know that things were going well while she was sitting our fur baby. I am so happy to have found a trustworthy and sweet person for our overnight and daycare sitter needs.”

“Our dog Marley tends to be anxious in new situations since she was a shelter dog, but seemed comfortable in Amanda’s home the moment we walked in for drop off. It made me feel much better about leaving our newly adopted girl for over a week! She sent updates and pictures often while we were on vacation. Would not hesitate to use Amanda again for future dog sitting and will recommend her to my friends!”

About: Hello! My name is Zoe and ever since I was a kid I have loved pets. I grew up on a farm with dogs and many cats, along with chickens and ducks, so I am accustomed to having the responsibility of taking care of animals. Currently I have one dog of my own, she’s a blue healer named Delilah :) I don't have much professional experience but family and friends always rely on me to watch their dogs and cats anytime it is needed. I work most week days but my job is very flexible so I’m always happy to accommodate your pets schedule. Feel free to reach out! I’m currently living in an apartment so it is a bit difficult to accommodate other animals in such a small living space, though, when in clients homes I always respect their animals schedule!
“We love Brodi and our furbies love her too. On time, takes care of business, animals are happy, house is clean, fantastic communication and extremely thoughtful. Checks in with us and asks questions about the written guidance we leave if necessary. Top notch!!”

“Kaitlyn came to my rescue on very short notice to care for my fur babies, and I couldn’t have been more grateful. She was kind-hearted, dependable, and followed all of my instructions perfectly while I was away. I will 💯 be requesting Kaitlyn again in the future!”

I’m flexible with mornings, afternoons, and evenings and do my best to accommodate last-minute needs when possible. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I provide a calm, supervised environment where pets are always cared for and monitored. I have experience with a wide variety of animals and make sure each pet is handled according to their needs, personality, and routine.

“Sarah was absolutely amazing. I had a cat with health issues and I was so so nervous to leave her. By the second day, I felt I had left her in the perfect hands. Sarah took time every day to find each one of my 3 cats and cater to each of their needs. She texted pictures and funny stories. She even broke though to my most aloof cat. Amazing! I will ABSOLUTELY be using her again and she comes with my HIGHEST of recommendations. Thank you!!!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I’m 29 years old, born and raised in Louisiana, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, not just a job or side hustle. I understande how important it is to trust someone with your pets because they’re family. I have two cats of my own, so I know the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats of different personalities, ages, and energy levels — from playful puppies and kittens to older pets that need extra patience and gentle care. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them attention, affection, playtime, and a calm environment so they feel secure and happy. I want pet owners to have peace of mind knowing their babies are in caring, reliable hands.need

“Ashley was great. This was the first time having a sitter for my 3 dogs. She had a total of 5 visits over 3 days. Ashley was on time & quick to respond with pictures of all 3 dogs plus 2 cats. I will book her again.”

About: Since I was about 11 years old, I’ve been trusted with pet-sitting over multiple nights, dropping in to feed/let dogs out to use the bathroom, given them medicine and baths, as well as many more duties. I used to work at a dog daycare for about half a year, which provided me with better experience and knowledge centering dog body language and safety. I’m currently working part-time, since I’m enrolled in college and have other responsibilities to focus on. I’d be able to easily fit in pet care to my daily routine, as I’m very task-oriented and capable of completing duties quickly and efficiently. I don’t own any pets of my own currently. However, when I am in a client’s home, I spend most of my time with their pets and make sure they are let out every 2-4 hours (depending on their condition and/or age). I also like to spend time cleaning if possible, as I like to keep my client’s homes clean.

“Tessie did a great job checking in on our girls! We have one who is very shy and she still get her a couple treats. Then she entertained our kitten for the rest of the drop in to get some energy out. Will be using her again!”

I’m a retired and stay home a lot and enjoy helping others out with their fur babies.Love to be able to cuddle with all fur babies. Perfect for high energy dogs - Whitehall

“My apologies for this late review, but we are so grateful to Jessica for accommodating our travel schedules to watch Beau Kai for us. Beau Kai is pretty easy to deal with as long as he knows you're there within his reach. He was able to play with Jessica's puppy for company and was ready for day two. Jessica is just as laid back and understands the needs of our beloved fur ones. We will definitely reach her again in the near future! Blessings Jessica and thanks again! Don & KB Williams-Atlanta, GA”

“Gabby was very accommodating and understanding. I was well informed about Orion's care throughout his stay. He came home happily worn out from such a fun day. Thank you Gabby for taking care of my sweet boy!”

The house is super cute and clean, they provided an extra kennel, they were flexible with our drop off and pick up time, and were so friendly and so great and caring with our pups. We appreciate it! Next time we come back to Louisiana we will use again!”

“I am delighted to share my exceptional experience with Jena as a dog caregiver through the Rover app. Jena took care of my six-month-old puppy, Luna, for her first dog daycare adventure, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Jena’s care for Luna was outstanding – her attention to Luna’s needs and her nurturing approach made Luna’s first experience truly special. The regular updates and communication from Jena provided me with peace of mind throughout the day. Jena’s professionalism, combined with her genuine love for animals, made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Luna not only received excellent care but also seemed genuinely happy in Jena’s company. I wholeheartedly recommend Jena to the Rover community. She is a fantastic caregiver, and I am grateful for the positive impact she had on Luna’s daycare experience.”

I am flexible with my availability and make it easy for my clients to book with me. I always give the best possible experience that I can. I love to provide fur parents with a way to keep their fur babies healthy, active and happy while they are away. I have a fenced-in backyard and a fenced-in patio (for the pups that love to be outside and bask in the sun). My home has doggie gates in every room to keep your fur babies safe and playmates in order. I treat every dog as my own and love to see them happy and well cared for.
About: My dad is a veterinarian so I grew up surrounded by animals. I’ve had many pets throughout the years including turtles, chickens, rabbits and more. I’ve always loved being surrounded by and caring for animals. I currently have an 11 year old boxer and a young cat. I work for myself so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule and working from home during the week. I’m available for daycare or to leave my home as needed to provide walks and care for your pets! I have a spacious, fenced in yard so there’s plenty of room to run and play. My older dog is a sweetheart and a great companion to keep your fur babies company. My cat gets along great with other animals. He lives inside and out but mostly stays out.
About: I’ve cared for dogs for a large part of my life and absolutely love getting to know each pup’s unique personality. My wife and I have two friendly dogs, Ozzy (a Jack Russell Terrier mix) and Brees (a Blue Heeler mix), so your dog will have built-in playmates if they enjoy social time! I work from home a good bit, which means I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention, potty breaks, and supervision throughout the day. We also have a good sized, fully fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for safe play, zoomies, or lounging in the sun. I have experience with puppies, including crate training and basic commands, as well as senior dogs who need slower routines and a gentle touch. I’m always happy to follow your pet’s specific care instructions, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you feel connected while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to give them the same love and care I give my own. Brees (Blue Heeler mix) is younger and has more energy. Ozzy (Jack Russell Terrier mix) is older and more of a couch potato, so we're all inclusive of every personality! About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, often stepping in for walks, feeding, and daily care when they're out of town. I'm dependable, detail oriented, and I make sure each dog's routine is followed so they stay comfortable and stress free while their owners are away. At home I have a mini schnauzer and a sheepadoodle, so I'm very familiar with both smaller, high energy personalities and larger, playful dogs. Managing both has taught me patience, consistency, and how to read different temperaments quickly. I'm comfortable adjusting to each dog's needs and making sure they get the right mix of exercise, attention, and care. I work in dental sales, which gives me a flexible schedule that I can easily work around pet care needs. I’m able to stop by for walks, feedings, and check-ins throughout the day and adjust my schedule as needed. This flexibility also allows me to take on regular or last-minute bookings and be reliable for pets and their owners. I follow each pet’s routine and instructions closely to keep things consistent and stress free. I handle feeding, walks, and basic care in the client’s home, and make sure pets get the attention and exercise they need based on their normal habits, personality, and daily routine.
About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.
About: I used to babysit the children of two veterinarians, so I was able to learn a great deal of animal care at a young age. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter since 2014. While I was a teacher, I used to take students twice a week after school to volunteer. I occasionally foster for the local shelters, especially in special cases when pets needed medicine or to be bottle fed. I am the person friends and family call when they have questions about their pets and/or they need someone to watch them. I am in a master's program at SLU for private practice counseling. Classes are every other Monday and every other Tuesday 2-4:45. I have internship Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon. I have plenty of time in the mornings, most afternoons, and evenings to walk, feed, visit/play, etc. I am someone that has a huge soft spot for the fur babies. I have created the spoiling habits with my babies, so I am diligent about adhering to other people's ways and habits with their babies. I lost my 16 year old rat terrier a year ago. She dealt with lots of anxiety, especially when I was not around, so I try to give the babies extra love knowing they probably feel off without their humans. Also, my Lucy developed canine dementia the last 9 months of her life. I have a great amount of patience and compassion for the aging babies.

About: I am currently in pre veterinary school, and a vet tech for the last year. I have training in animal care, emergency care, special needs pets and animal behavior's. I'm currently doing my school work from home, so I am home 24/7 minus the occasional walk if weather permits or an errand I may run. I have a nicely sized fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs who get along with everybody and are completely up to date on all vaccines. I also have a spare room separate if need be where i spend most of the day, so your pet would never be alone.

“Sarah and Russell made everything so easy! Quick response, easy to talk to, comfortable, and Herschel took to them quickly! They came over for a meet and greet at our convenience and stayed for a while getting to know our baby and talking about our likes and dislikes for our Herschel. They did drop ins to feed him, let him out, and some play time. They sent photos and updates! We are planning a play date with thier dogs so we can possibley let Herschel stay with them next time. Now my husband and I are actually looking forward to another get away knowing we have reliable doggie sitters!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life as long as I can remember. I am so grateful to say I've never gone a full year without a fur baby in my life! Having had many pet dogs and cats over the years, I am very experienced with both puppies and full grown dogs and cats. I am currently a full-time student at Southeastern Louisiana University about to start my Master's in counseling. I am available Monday through Thursday to care for pets before and after school, Fridays, and Saturdays! I treat pets with the same respect and care that I do humans. It is so important to me to help bring joy and safety to the animals I care for. Cleanliness, timeliness, and communication are also important to me and I prioritize them on every visit.

I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. I LOVE & taking care of your 4 legged sweetie pies, when you book with me it will allow me to continue to care for the fur babies & accomplish my life long dream to open up a bigger place to care for more. 💕 I truly appreciate repeat customers, but with inflation the way that it is, the cost of gas being so high, I had to make the difficult decision to raise my prices up to $2 more since last year. I understand if you choose to look elsewhere for services, but I hope that you choose to continue to use me. & for new clients ❤️ I have a small male dachshund that gets along with animals & kids very well! I am 100% committed to your pets to make them & you comfortable with my services. I treat my clients babies just like I would my baby!

“Very very sweet. Easy to communicate with and I’ll definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pet like family.”

“Second time booking Kristin, and she was just as great this time! I also had a foster dog stay with her. She always kept me updated and sent lots of pictures and video. Plus she bathed them both and trimmed their nails before they came home!”

“Cosmo seemed to have the best time with Guybrielle and her family! He was exhausted when he came home which tells me he played, and played, and played some more! I look forward to booking in the future.”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Awesome experience! Gabby provided outstanding service for my Maggie. Her home is pet friendly and cozy. Her pups and mine got along great and had a fantastic weekend playing together.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Keith. During one of the most stressful and uncertain periods of my life, he stepped up with kindness, patience, flexibility, and genuine care for my dog. Knowing my dog was safe, loved, exercised, and treated like family gave me peace of mind when I needed it most. He went above and beyond — not just doing the job, but truly helping me through a difficult situation. Reliable communication, compassionate care, and someone you can actually trust with your pet. My dog clearly adored him, and that tells me everything I need to know. If you are looking for someone dependable, caring, and genuinely good-hearted to watch your animals, I highly recommend him. Thank you again for everything you did for us.”

“Tracy was absolutely amazing with Rocky. She was so sweet and caring from the very beginning. She kept me updated the entire time, sending pictures and letting me know how he was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. Rocky came back home calm, happy, and not nervous at all, that says everything. I’m truly grateful for how well she took care of him. Highly recommend her and would definitely trust her again with Rocky”

“Holly is AMAZING! We went on a ski trip for Christmas and she watched Luca (our beagle) for 6 days. She sent updates and pictures and Luca had a ton of fun. When we arrived to pick him up I don’t think he wanted to leave. If you need someone to watch your dog I Highly Recommend Holly and I definitely will be booking her next time we go on a trip and can’t bring the furry family with us.”

“We felt comfortable leaving Luna in good hands. Ms Gabrielle was very accommodating with our schedules and we look forward to having Luna stay with her family in the future.”

“Jena was the quickest to respond to any of my booking requests for service. She was professional and responded with me on changes to the service and requests I made afterwards. My dog seemed comfortable with the surroundings even though this was the first time I had bordered her with anyone. I’ll use her again if needed.”
