I have a lot of experience with senior dogs, especially when it come to distributing medicine and helping with any special exercising they might need. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your animals! I'm also available for overnight stays and just popping in throughout the day. At my home I love letting my dogs out in the yard and playing with them while I work on homework or other things. About: From horses, to dogs, cats, rabbits, and more, I have been around animals my entire life and honestly I'm not sure I'd do without them! In addition to having a love for animals, I have a passion for veterinary medicine and have been in the veterinary field for the last 13 years. Owners will have confidence and peace of mind that I am very familiar with animal behavior and can quickly assess any situation. If you are looking for someone who is great with communication, updates, and will treat your pet like their own, then I would love to give your fur baby a safe place to stay while you're away! **We do have a fully fenced yard and someone here at all times. **Board and train also available upon request. Aside from working 2-3 half day shifts at the the vet clinic, I do work around my barn from home and have ample amount of time to spend with both my pets and yours to make sure they are not alone for hours on end. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. I still remember walking into the toy store, seeing a costume equipped with a stethoscope and stuffed dog, and saying to myself that I want to care for animals one day. I am not only experienced in the basic care needs of your pets but am also skilled in ensuring their health and wellbeing while in my care. I am lucky enough to work at an animal hospital that is within minutes of my home and have the ability to go back every day during my lunch break to care for my own fur babies as well as any others that are currently in my care. I am also fortunate to have the weekends off where they are all able to have my undivided care and attention. I am spending my time with animals from the time I get out of bed every morning to the time that I fall asleep every night. Let's just say it is my absolute favorite hobby. No matter if we are in an enclosed space or not, you can ensure your pet will be properly monitored and secured at all times. Whether that means we become the best of friends and stay together at all times and/or are harnessed and leashed (or slip lead if no harness is present) when outside, you can rest assured that your fur baby is in the best of hands.

About: I have worked as a vet assistant at an animal hospital for 3.5 years with plans to apply to the LSU vet school. I have also owned and cared for animals my whole life, including farm experience. I am currently working part time, so I don’t have many weekly hours. I also live with my fiancée who is part time as well in a two bedroom townhouse. I have an unfenced yard with plenty of grass and walking area. I have 2 very friendly medium sized dogs to keep your dogs company. I have a large kennel if needed. I am also very active and can run and walk long distance for active dogs.
