About: My dad is a veterinarian so I grew up surrounded by animals. I’ve had many pets throughout the years including turtles, chickens, rabbits and more. I’ve always loved being surrounded by and caring for animals. I currently have an 11 year old boxer and a young cat. I work for myself so I have the flexibility of making my own schedule and working from home during the week. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 5 years old, and I also have a dog of my own (Millie:)) and my Shih Tzu baby Rico I’ve helped cared for back home. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. “My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me.
